Great location, amazing service delicious food. Order a side of pancakes that comes with four. Also the omelette with mushrooms and sausage and the wellness omelette with egg whites and spinach,topped with the feta cheese with a side of hashbrowns or your choice of fruit, cottage cheese, and toast.

After circling beach parking lots for over an hour, we called it quits and decided to go someplace nearby for lunch. Despite the beach being insane, the restaurant was quiet and pretty empty. They also had free parking for the businesses in the area (including the restaurant) so that was a plus. The food was great, bathrooms were clean, but the service was awful. We barely saw our waitress, well, we saw her wondering around the restaurant not doing anything. She rarely checked on our table. The food was great however. I got the BBQ chicken wrap, I was a bit worried it would be packed with black beans but it had a good amount of chicken and other fillings as well. The fries were fresh and crispy, and I loved the BBQ ranch sauce. We also got a brownie sundae, it was really big and we were glad we decided to share instead of each getting our own dessert.

REALLY GOOD DINER! When you're in the mood for a local diner spot this is the place to come. They have a diverse menu selection. Came here with my coworkers and everyone loved what they got. I got the chicken club sandwich with fruit (fruit was very fresh), it was a healthy option. My coworkers got a tuna melt with onion rings, hamburger with fries, traditional club sandwich, and grilled cheese. The service was great and we received our food quickly. We will definitely be back.

Such a great place. Beautiful inside, clean, many selections and they're generous. Excellent staff, always very genuine. Club sandwich, burgers and fries are great. Big windows, lot of So Cal history.

We enjoyed breakfast here for our group of 3 on a Sunday. It was relatively busy but we didnt have to wait. Booths were comfortable and the coffee was very good. We enjoyed all of our breakfasts including biscuits and gravy and Woody's omelet. We would return again for reliable service and delicious food.

Great service yummy food and great atmosphere . Our server Valeria had excellent customer service always attending to us when we need something.

Sunday 1:00pm stopped in with 4 people to grab a bite . Parking across the street in the structure was my first mistake , they have free parking in the back . The place was not too busy and we were greeted and seated . The appetizers were great and the food was good. Then the bill came with a little service charge 3% for what ? And when I complained I was shown the menu and told that they charge that on all the orders . But I could write a note to the owner on the receipt. I just don't think we need to pay a service fee on top of the bill and a 20% tip . And yes we still tip 20% it's not the severs fault the owner is just a greedy person. And short sighted . Not sure if all the Woodys diners are like this but i doubt I'll be back .

This is a good solid choice for reasonably priced diner food in Newport Beach, in an area where you might pay $25 for a burger at a boutique restaurant. I came with my partner for a quick bite and it was fast service and the food came quickly because there were only like 4 other patrons there (on a Saturday late afternoon/early evening).The ambiance is better than a Denny's or ihop for sure, it's a very comfortable diner with ample seating and looked very clean. I enjoyed my build your own omelette and my partner's burger looked very juicy and he said it was good. The ingredients were fresh and tasted good/cooked well. I have no complaints about this place, it was an all around good experience. Would return again!

The food was very flavorful and fresh. The service is amazing, everybody has a smile on their face! The ambience was my favorite, it feels like you're in a movie.
