Woody’s Diner

Lived in Yorba Linda for 3 years and finally made it in. Came for breakfast. The staff was friendly and service was good. I had chorizo and eggs. Excellent!! The hash browns were a bit overwhelming and only tasted them. The best was the one pancake as a bread. It was delicious!! My husband had woody's omelette and ate it all. Great diner feel. What you would expect.

Woody's is a restaurant that tries to create a retro diner's ambiance, but its interior reflects a mixed theme. There are surfboards hanging from the ceiling but the shelves above the booth partitions display homey traditional decorations. It's nice to have more than half a dozen TV's showing a handful of games as well as a full bar. But then it gives the place more of a sports bar feel.We ordered a couple of burgers. The classic cheeseburger was fine. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, red onions, and thousand island dressing.However, the fries were disastrous. They were hard, stale, and tasteless. They tasted exactly like cold, leftover fries getting reheated in the frier.The Hawaiian burger came with a slice of ham, pineapple, and cheese. There was so much teriyaki sauce that it was dripping all over the place and also made the bun very soggy. The sauce was so sweet that it completely overwhelmed the flavor of the burger.Another annoying experience is that this restaurant felt like a dinosaur that was moving backwards in time. In the year 2024 when the World is moving toward cashless transactions, Woody's charges a 3% "processing fee for non-cash payments".Will not be back.

Food is good. Been here many times. Walked in a party of 4 adults....... Asked for the larger booth which there are 4. NO ONE was sitting there.... All 4 EMPTY. WE were told only 5+ party can sit there. Really ?No one occupying and we wanted more room. 2 servers told us NO. Maybe we go to Kenos from now on. No cool.

Went here for the first time while getting a car wash down the street. Been living in Yorba Linda for a while now and we couldn't believe we just stumbled upon this place.Friendly staff and small diner vibes. The food is great. I always get the chicken fried steak whenever I go to a breakfast place and their gravy is so darn good. Don't forget the biscuits and gravy!! I ended up upgrading the hash browns to their spuds and oh man I will never eat hash browns the same again. We will be coming back to this place and I can't wait to try out their other offerings.

Good food, reasonable prices and quick service. I used to go to woodys warf and diner in Newport Beach for years, I'm glad that they are open in Yorba Linda now since I have lived here for 25 plus years now. The noise level is moderate, the decor is sort of 50s diner

The service here is always on point with the food being hot and tasty. My husband and I love to go to unwind and have yummy grill food. They have a full bar also.

Two stars because our waitress was awesome. Worst food I have had in a long time. Ordered michelada which was literally Bloody Mary mix with beer...so not Micheladas....Very disappointing especially when they charge $15 a plate and give us flavorless unfortunate excuse of diner food. Ordered eggs Benedict....with "hasbrowns" that were soggy. Poached egg was a hard boiled egg(being nice) and the hollandaise sauce is bland as hell. English muffin was soggy as well.....husband ordered chorizo and eggs... idk why he ordered that from a diner like this but he was brave. The portion was sooooooo smallllllll!!!!!!! It was like two corn tortillas worthy of chorizo and eggs??? Then the "home fries" were brown turds ON TOP of mixed veggies....what in the wild fuck? Idk who is keeping this business open but I'm sure it's the people who eat seasonless boiled chicken...

Everything is good...Close and lots of tv's for sports.Great service and good food.Lots of choices.

Wonderful restaurant would love to come back. Great service and fun atmosphere, nice place to watch the games!
