Wienerschnitzel

Ok, c'mon now! How can you rag on Wienerschnitzel?!! I mean it's Americas favorite hot dog! This is one of those places you now and again just gotta have. Chili Cheese dogs, Corn Dogs, Kraut dogs oh my! Seriously, if you go here thinking you're going to get a Michelin rated meal you live under a rock! This is just simply what it is,...a fast food hot dog joint! The dogs are always on point, the fries are always hot and fresh with plenty of salt, and the chili is always yummy! This location is right on when it comes to service, the staff is always super nice and friendly.

Ordered 4 chili cheese dogs. It was more onion than chili and I got 4. Very disappointed.

Went to the drive-through, drive-through was fast the fries are nice and hot, friendly greeting order was correct. What more can I ask for, I'm just glad that they're down nearby our house !!!

This was my first visit to any Weinerschnitzel. We did not have them in the Midwest before I moved to California. I was impressed by the variety of hot dog flavors. I ordered the Texas BBQ one and the Chicago Style, both with all beef hot dogs. It was a slow day indoors, so I can't comment on the service. Here's my take on their food:I think the toppings carry the flavor. The Texas BBQ one was good, and the Chicago one was good enough. The hot dogs themselves are not as tasty as the ones I cook at home, which are Applegate brand hot dogs cooked in butter and olive oil until they are crispy on the outside. Clearly, I've spoiled myself. In general, I think fast food places such as Weinerschnitzel would benefit from cooking their food in higher quality ingredients, such as olive oil, lard, or even bacon grease. Vegetable oil or boiled water simply won't do. 4 stars on account of the variety and flavorful toppings, but the hot dogs themselves should be cooked differently.

They offer dine-in, drive-thru, and online ordering for pickup or delivery. Excellent options! There is always parking. Restaurant looks clean inside. The cashier lady has always been very kind and funny with us. So is the manager when he is available. When we come here, it is usually around 6:30 pm. So the restaurant is not busy at all. Our order is ready within a few minutes. My wife loves the jalapeño poppers from here, I usually just go for the mini corn dogs.

It's Friday night March 1st and I'm personally feeling low and decided to spend part of my last couple hundred dollars on a root beer float. The young man who served me - who I've spoken to briefly in the past and liked immediately- showed just the best customer service at the very end of the open lobby day. As I walked out I even spilt the remaining tiny bit of float on the floor when I dropped my cup. He came out and mopped it and emphasized that it was no big deal and not to worry it's cool. I just find his work ethic and kindness worth mentioning and if he's in line for a raise maybe management can snap their fingers and make it happen because I work in customer service and sales and I know I'm not alone in noting how agreeable he is - but also the staff seem to be polite generally.. I didn't get his name I was too tired and embarrassed from the float faux pas. Oh, and also if you haven't tried Wienerschnitzel's rootbeer float, I get one pretty much every other night. I freakin love them. Yes, try them.

Do you ever drive by a place 1000 times and never stop? I don't know why I stopped today, but I'm glad that I did.For the uninitiated, there's three dogs here. All beef, Polish, and blend. The dogs come in a bunch of different forms: corn dog, Chicago style, sauerkraut, chili.They also have fries. And shakes.That's all I have to say, it's not the highest quality but you get what you pay for and prices are reasonable. It's pretty tasty, and I'm gonna say something controversial: these thousand island fries that they have are better than the animal fries at In-N-Out. They have a lot of the same ingredients. Thousand island, cheese, fries. But these come with chili as well, and that takes this to the next level. Drive-through was courteous and efficient, answered all of my stupid questions with patience!

Having ate at the restaurant for quite a while, I always appreciate the food that is served there as comforting and warm. While the food obviously isn't the healthiest, that's a given considering it's a fast food restaurant. Overall, the warm feeling of the food and the quick service from the cashiers and drive through workers contribute to an overall good environment that can help with long work days.

ICE CREAM IS NOW ICY?This place has always been a standby for a nice ice cream treat in addition to chili dogs or burgers. But unfortunately the last dipped cone I got not only was icy but the chocolate dip flavor was lacking in chocolate. Very waxy.The ice cream used to be incredibly creamy and the chocolate dip was decadent and chocolaty. You all have an important space in providing sweet treats - don't mess it up!

Worst corndog ever!!! It was overcooked, and it tasted burnt. I couldn't even eat the whole thing. Terrible!!!
