WaBa Grill

I liked to come here on my lunch break at night but I noticed when I got back and was about to eat the green onion that was given to me smelled very foul and the chicken too and now I'm stuck with a 24 hour virus stomach bug from the food here. Also every time I order dumplings and I noticed it's the lady cook she always burns them !!!! So if she can't cook the chicken all the way through why is she burning dumplings. Will not be buying from this restaurant.

A great Doordash option for a late dinner. I ordered the Steak and Chicken over rice bowl and a side of 5 Dumplings. The steak and chicken were very tender and tasty. I wish they would've added the green onions on top, like the picture, but it was still very good. They were a little light on the WaBa sauce also, so make sure to get a bunch of extra WaBa Sauce packets. You get plenty of rice in the bowl so that's nice. The dumplings were pretty good. They come with a sweet chili dipping sauce, but I wasn't a big fan of that. This is where the extra WaBa sauce comes in handy. Overall I was happily surprised. 10pm Doordash options are limited.

The manager of this store forces employees to prop all of the doors wide open which causes the place to be infested with fly's and hot since the air conditioning is basically doing nothing but waste electricity. This is against the health code for indoor restaurants. If you try to sit down and eat your meal you will be swatting flies away from your food half the time while sweating from the heat. If the flies are attacking me sitting down with 1 plate of food you can bet they are attacking all the food being prepared.Back when they kept the doors shut and the place was cool this was an easy 5 star joint. Now its a just a health hazard.Please keep the doors shut!!

Come from out of town this place looked good walk in , roof leaking , service was horrible . I want to give this food a try Menu look inviting, but after eat food was not that all great hopefully this feedback, makes it better for the future, as of now will not come back .

This place is horrible food and service. Even my friend said the same thing. Which is bad since other stores in Costa Mesa is better.

Haven't messed up my order yet. It'd actually pretty clean compared to the other ones. The service is rather fast. This place always has the green onions and carrots and I'm here for it. Pepsi Products tho with no Mountain Dew. Feels different getting Dr Pepper. Meanwhile they have a fridge with all the what would have been SoBe drinks is not brands I've never heard of. Huge selection at least.

Review for the chicken bowl with white meat only. Price was $12.01 with out add-ons. The bowl seems smaller with the portions. Seems like the know they are one of the few places around here that is healthy for food. So they do capitalize on that. The workers don't make rounds and clean areas that are used like door to the bathroom etc. keeping the door closed would help maintain the place nicer. Although everyone knows the code to use the bathroom so people walking on the street pit stop here to use the bathroom. So there are some questionable characters here walking around.

When someone asks for a substitution, please let them know that it will be an extra $6 charge! I was told to send an email to [email protected] & nobody has replied back to me.

The shrinkflation is real. Not only are the bowls smaller and priced higher but the amount of chicken in the chicken bowl is significantly less. The chicken doesn't even cover the top of bowl anymore.

I love this Waba the girls are all super nice and very fast !I go to lunch all the time I usually phone my order because I am short on time the girls take my order and I never have to wait long!!! Super attentive thank you GIRLS
