This one star is solely for the cashier yesterday that was working around 5:30-6 9/20/24. She was extremely rude. I first called to see if she could help with a problem I was having putting in a big order online, she was impatient and clearly annoyed. We figured it out about 2 minutes into the call and she hung up. She was so deeply unprofessional and did nothing to help once we arrived to pick up the 30 items for the team. She kept asking us to move the orders aside even though the order was not even halfway complete. There were no people waiting. The establishment was empty besides our order and about five minutes in a family walked in. It showed she has the capacity to be friendly and somewhat helpful. However from the phone to the in person pick up we were extremely unhappy with her lack of professionalism and courtesy. Her tone was very negative and maybe it was due to the fact that we were keeping her away from her phone which she kept trying to get to.Thank goodness for the cook and the other guy who was working who went above and beyond to help. They were the only reason why I hesitate to give a negative review.

I was very disappointed today. I ordered a tofu bowl online. When I got there to pick it up, I noticed it was wedged on the grill with other meats. I watched the cook pick it up and put it on the chopping block with several meat particles and then cut with the same knife. I asked the cashier why there wasn't a non-meat board being used for vegetarians. She rudely said to read the sign outside, they don't treat it differently. This sign says nothing about that. I get cross contaminating happens when they are trying but she let me know they don't. Why have vegetarian options if you are putting meat products in each bowl?

I know about inflation, I know Waba grill can only afford us 2 waba sauces and 2 hot sauces a bowl now, I know about a lunch rush, but when did it become okay to serve up $10 chicken bowls when you can already see the bottom of the bowl?

The owner, James, delivers the best customer service we've ever experienced. Our family has been a customer since they opened years ago, and Waba Foothill Ranch is our favorite restaurant. The food is healthy, delicious, and quick to order. The staff are friendly, and James goes above and beyond to take care of his customers. For delicious healthy food and friendly service, Waba Foothill Ranch is our favorite place to eat.

The food is good but the service is horrible the 12pm cashier on a Monday 3-25-2024 is rude and displays disgusting behavior! It's been brought to my attention that my girlfriend has been having an on going issue with her for a while! Today I went in with her and ordered 2 waba bowls and the cashier got confrontational when my girlfriend ask her for 2 extra sauces which she always gets. On top of that after we sat down to eat out food she offered extra sauce to the person that ordered behind as a wicked gesture to make fun of her!As this being the only waba grill in lake forest closest to our home we find it convenient to always eat here after the gym but recently that cashier that works the noon shift on 3-25-24 taints the waba grill customer service standard! We have never had any issues at other locations especially in Santa Ana.. we'd really appreciate if the owner has a word with her and to please stop being a negative jerk towards us! Overall the ambience is lovely and we enjoy eating here but that cashier needs an attitude adjustmentIt's seems like the confrontation is personal at this point because upon every visit to this location it continues to escalate!

Burnt chicken is the new standard. What the actual fuq guys? Literally never able to get chicken that's not burnt to crisp anymore. It's not a one time occurrence. It's literally five days a week. Is it that hard to check the chicken when you're cooking it? This is unacceptable. Half the meal is charcoal. How would you like to eat charcoal. I'm sharing this review with everyone. Figure it out. It's not that hard. This is the reason no one wants to raise minimum wage except people who work in minimum wage. Over. It.

I love waba and usually never have issues ANYWHERE I go with receiving more hot sauce. The owner or idk who it was was really charging me for extra sauce and Strickly told me it was one sauce per bowl. I never had to pay anywhere I eat for an extra sauce for my meal. The last few times I've came the kind lady who's helped me before was super sweet and always gives me more then 1 sauce. Am I complaining about sauce yes I am because if I'm paying for my meal I should be able to enjoy it the way I want and desire to eat it. And the payment is no issue but it is ridiculous. Does hot sauce really come out the paycheck????? not coming back.

Wow, call in order via phone today 11:35am, felt like order taker not listening and to my surprise she didn't. I told her twice no cabbage on both bowls and to my surprise both bowls have cabbage. Must be difficult to take the correct order. Our lunch ruined thanks WABA.
