If you are in a mood to catch up with a friend over coffee and some nicely made snacks, this is the place to be. Great Italian style caffe in The Camp. Nice evening ambience too with smaller areas in which to converse. Open fire pit adds really cosy feel heading into winter. You'll love it! The menu is pretty big considering the small space. You can have dinner, ice cream, Italian cookies and coffee, tea and other Italian style drinks.Service is decent. Their coffee is delicious specially cappuccino and latte. Ice cream just ok for my taste. Prices are reasonable. Not cheap but not expensive.Parking is a challenge if you go on weekend evening!

Had a date here and we had the privilege to hear and try a delicious new menu item that is coming soon straight from the owner himself. From the way he spoke about food shows his passion and love for everything he shares with us here at Vitaly in Costa Mesa. Maurizio and his PINSA creation PINSA is created with all natural ingredients also no GMO and all made by hand with love and positive vibes. As we ate it the freshness and quality can't be compared anywhere else!! More new creations that will be shared with all that come to Vitaly which I highly recommend to try and stay coming to try all what this wonderful place has to offer. Everything here makes us feel like we must visit Italy, from selection of wine, pastas and gelatos there will be more to come. Oh and the service here is top notch! Every server we spoke to has been super nice and patient. Just ask if you're unsure about anything and they shall respond very kindly. I hope this can inspire more and others to come to feel relaxed, read a book and eat to your hearts content! Thank you Maurizio for an amazing experience! -May&KarinaPs) for sure we will be back and bringing more mouths to feed! Hope you're ready!

So was in town for work and came here for dinner. We had an amazing experience. We shared the Mediterranean Burrata salad (Arugula, Burrata, Prosciutto di Parma, Cherry tomatoes - Come with a slice of Bread) which was amazing! We also ordered the Chalet (San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Sausage, Caramelized Onion, Mushrooms, Mozzarella, Garlic Evo, Shaved Parmigiano, Parsley) and the Vitaly (San Marzano Tomato Sauce, Prosciutto di Parma, Mozzarella, Burrata Stracciatella, Cherry Tomatoes, Arugula, Balsamic Glaze') both pizzas were great but I think the Chalet was the favorite. Last but not least we ordered gelato- I had the one that was like a Twix and it was amazing. Service was great as the staff come and check on you but not too much where it's overwhelming. The ambiance is nice very cute- great for date night or night out with the girls. Will come back when in the area. .

Lorenzo took great care of our table. He was friendly, knew the menu really well, and was very attentive (checking in on us periodically, but not the point where we felt uncomfortable). *Side note for his manager/ owner: as a business owner, It's hard to find a server that truly cares for their guests, as well as their workplace. *We came straight from the airport and enjoyed a nice time and breakfast on the patio. The party of 3 had avo toasts, salads, and mimosas. The place is really cute. They have tables inside with AC or outside if you want to enjoy some fresh air and people watching. Bring your book, a laptop, come on a date, or simply enjoy a good time with friends, Vitaly's got it all! Next time we come we have to make room for their gelato. Grazie!

It's relaxing, it's friendly and have food I love. Pasta, salad, wine. Then choices of house made gelato paired with cappuccino. What more can I ask for. Also, very friendly servers. I normally come here for my gelato. But, I have had dinners here and also ordered from delivery on days I don't feel like driving anywhere. If you're looking for a relaxing vibe, I recommend Vitaly Caffe.

Freshly made coffee and tea in such a cute little Italian place! One of my favorite places to grab coffee with friends. They have the sweetest team and the best snacks. I love their antioxidant soup. And the bread is to die for. Then throw in the fire or the cozy seating next to fountains and you have the best hangout in Costa Mesa. So grab a coffee and thank me later!

Super happy to see a few vegan options here. They have a vegan gelato and I have only tried the one option but it was pretty good. They have some nice tables outside with a fire which makes for a nice date night. The service was attentive and helpful when I asked about vegan options. I would love some additional vegan options on the menu.

This place was so cute inside but so expensive.Upon entering, the server at the register was friendly and asked if we wanted to dine in or order at the register (not sure if that meant ordering the food then having it brought to the table or getting it to go?). It was kind of unclear because she seemed busy. Anyways we seated ourselves and it took a while to be attended to. I was beginning to wonder if we were forgotten about. We also didn't have menus so we had to grab them from the empty table next to us. Just a very confusing vibe when first entering. I got the fettuccini noodles with the porcini soft mushrooms, parmigiano, and olive oil with truffle. It was good at first bite but I got tired of it. It might have been too strong of a flavor that I wasn't a huge fan of. It was also very very oily. I got a stomachache later. But the fettuccini noodles were good, pretty thin but soft. I also sampled the salted caramel gelato which was good too but I wouldn't get a whole scoop because it was a bit too sweet. Overall, this place was alright. I probably wouldn't come back just because it was so expensive and I wasn't a fan of what I got. The whole service situation was confusing when first coming in too. VERY trendy place with a cute interior but a very mediocre dining experience.

We came here after a busy dinner at folks. Dinner was really heavy so we got the sorbet (strawberry orange & lemon). Both were super delicious! My only issue was that the scoops can be a bit small.

I absolutely LOVE Vitaly!! Such an amazing family owned restaurant. Truly a hidden gem in Costa Mesa located at The Camp. There's indoor/outdoor seating with a cute patio that makes for romantic dinner experiences. The service is always friendly and accommodating. They have coffee, pastries and cookies.Start with the crescentine basket!!The pasta is my favorite, the bolognese fettuccini...just wow delicious 11/10. I always order it, the pasta is handmade with quality ingredients. I scrape the plate. Lasagna is also impeccable! For dessert, order some fresh gelato!!
