Viktor Bene's Bakery

Ordered a custom Princess Cake for 4th of July and it was amazing! Everyone loved it and it had the perfect amount of fillings. The service was excellent and they were so friendly.

It was a beautiful cake. I love the color and little flower decorations. Sponge cake was rich. It is good with black coffee. I would try again for my family's next birthday.

Such a horrible experience, bought a cake today for a birthday party, cut it up, passed it around and realized that the horrible smell was an infestation of mold. A few people had swallowed at that point and had to try to purge the moldy cake. Such a horrific health hazard and a danger to customers. Do not get cake from here.

Princess Cake is good.Other pastries and cookies were good.We needed a new bakery after the place that we bought cakes from closed.

Best Pecan Pie I've ever had. Not cheap but everything my family gets, we're very happy with. We are walking distance so we go early morning when everything is fresh.

NOT GOOD from the Irvine location at Gelsons. Got a pumpkin pie from them, it was like a frozen defrosted pie, not special at all. Same thing with an apple one a while back. Other things we purchased were old and not fresh and yummy. Service there is very difficult, pricing is very high. Behind the counter staff is not helpful at all. Hard to believe that Gelsons uses them. Thought that they would be special, but they are not at this location.

Their cookie and bakery arrangement for a party are decorated amazingly and and are delicious. Plenty to choose from and Friendly staff

My daughter purchased a cake at ViKtor's for my birthday. She attempted to obtain my favorite chelate lava cake. The chocolate and vanilla layers were stale. The cake was old. A huge disappointment.

I shop at the Viktor Benes in Manhattan Beach and love it! The staff is friendly and helpful and the cakes are as delicious as they are gorgeous IF they are special ordered. Love the princess cake, Bavarian lemon, coconut, mango mousse, pear and almond pastry, etc. One star off because I don't like their chocolate cakes (not very rich) and the one time I bought a ready made cake from the display case it was stale.

I am so sad to say we received a moldy cake here this past weekend. I purchased the raspberry cake with a layer of jam on top and served it at a birthday dinner that night. Once we cut into the cake, we noticed several moldy spots and had to throw the entire cake away. Super disappointed. I did reach out to the Viktor Benes email but haven't received any response.
