Warning! The flan was not creamy unfortunately, It was a bit overcooked and had curdles like a cake, but to my surprise the manager Anna, immediately wanted to fix my concern when I called! Absolute great customer service! I'm going to give them a second chance, as the people that work there are extremely kind and are trying to improve the quality! Ydnra was the cashier, sweet young lady. So if you're not happy, give them a chance to make it right. Filipinos in Irvine just need to stop complaining already! I gave them 5 stars because you can't find good service anymore. And they were super attentive to making things right.

Low quality products and bad service. Everything tastes like it came from a 'Day Old Bread' clearance rack. I bought 2 dozen pan de sal and two cheese breads to try. The cheese bread was already hard and stale but I guess they think it's ok to still sell it. Pan de sal has no flavor and no chew to it- it just falls apart into crumbs after light toasting. The lady at the register made me wait as she socialized with a couple in front of me - but I didn't mind. She kept going on and on about how they were from the same region in the PI . However, when I made light conversation as she helped me (I made a comment about my parents being from same region, she gave me attitude and had a resting b*tch face. She couldn't wait for me to leave. I doubt this review will change anything. Just want to warn other customers especially if you're looking for a Filipino experience or just want to sample Filipino sweets. This is not the place. There are other sweet shops who care about the their customers and the products on their shelves. Spent almost $20 on bread today- what a waste.

Came here just for the turon, and it didn't disappoint. It's been a long time since I've been to this part of Irvine/Tustin....so long that I had no idea there was a Seafood City market built here! Searched Yelp for banana lumpia and glad I found Valerio's. The turon was so good. Nicely candied on the outside, and overall great tasting. Friendly people working the counter. I'll be back next time I'm in CA!

The turon is my favorite and the bread is great but the girl at the front with the glasses is so rude. She needs to learn how to smile or something. No warm Filipino hospitality, it kind of disappointing.

It's okay. I like the sapin-sapin dessert. And I like that a plastic bag comes with your purchase. What I don't like is the 50cent card fee, which absolutely offsets any cash back you're hoping to get on your credit card. My card only goes up to like 3% cash back. I now need 6% cash back just to barely break even...

Very poor food quality. Bought puto last 5/14/24 with "Enjoy by: 5/16/2024" date. Today is 5/16/2024 and it is already full of molds. Please be honest in putting dates in your product. This compromises food safety!

Walked by because I was trying to go to the market and was trapped on my way in. Regained focus and continued to shop for what I came for- veggies. Paid for said veggies then got trapped again walking out and spend $15 on ube pandesal and puto galapong. Both pretty good. Not like how a Filipina grandma would make but Valerio's is close enough to Lola's that it'll do when the craving strikes.
