Amazon beef quality. We got the platter (limited to first 5 who order). That one had the most bang for your buck. The tartar was also extremely umami and soft. It also comes with either a side of rice or cold noodles!The service is good and the place is also really nice and clean!

Tsuruhashi is one of my favorite Japanese BBQ places and I've even going there for years. For my birthday, I thought it would be nice to try their fancier sister restaurant, which strangely, is in the same plaza. I made reservations by phone. The seating is nice- slightly blocked off to create some privacy. Unfortunately, the meat was not particularly good. We got a lot of cuts that were gamey, which never happened before at Tsuruhashi. I'm not sure why the meat here tastes worse but costs more. I was really unimpressed and will not be back.

Made a reservation for Friday dinner for me and my bf. Menu is similar to tsuruhashi and anjin with variation in some menu items. Orderdered the- tsuruhashi set-wagyu yukke-cold noodle-uwamisujiThe set was perfect for two. They only offer 5 of these plates per day. Highly recommend it if you just want to try a few cuts. Our favorite was the short rib and zabuton. My personal favorite is beef tongue. The yukke was tender. The peppercorn bites added a really nice spice to the dish, but I wished there was an element of sweetness. I like how tsuruhashi has apple with their tartare. The cold noodle was solid, but the both could've been more tart. Service was really pleasant. They were attentive to our grill, waters, and paced the meal so we were overwhelmed with too much meat.

Well, I am here to let you know to look no further. You have found a spot where you simply will just LOVE. Took my husband here to celebrate Father's Day and he loved it so much. The staff was very on top of it, friendly, and gave really good recommendations. You definitely were not rushed as you dined and reminded us a lot of Japan. Everything tasted great. Ventilation was good so you don't walk out smelling. Place is well lit. You don't need to dress up. Recommend calling for a reservation as this spot has limited seating, similar to tshurashi across the street.Personally i recommend doing one of the sets instead of the omakase. There's less meat options but if you know what you like you get a bigger portion size.Highly recommend the wagyu garlic fried rice as well!Service is solid and they kind of watch you cook before bring out the next meat in order to not rush/overwhelm you.

Great food great service. Wait isnt ever long my new goto spot for Japanese bbq . Premium meats or regular are good nothing low quality here

The meat was good. The service was okay. The aesthetic of the place is nice. However $5 plain white rice is criminal. I think for the same quality, just go to anjins.

Good food if you order the items you like. The wagyu set was not going well with some items . Our favorite were Sankaku and Beef tongue, kimchi fried rice. Service was nice and attentive. Inside is beautiful. The owner is same as Trusuhashi. But this place is nicer and less crowded. Reservation also accepted .

If you are looking for an BBQ place the highest quality meat with a nice intimate ambiance, Tsuruichi is the place to be! It's is a small restaurant with about 8 tables and each table is in its own booth, creating a semi private dining environment. The menu offers a large variety cuts of Wagyu beef, organized by "marbled" or "lean" cuts. Since it was our first time at the restaurant, we opted to try the Tsuruichi platter, which comes with beef tongue, brisket, Kobe skirt, and lean cut of the day (totaling 12 oz for $100). It was a great combination of cuts, offering different texture and flavor. My favorites were the beef tongue (best I've had) and the briskets (extreme marbled and melts in your month, almost like butter...).They also have a new item on the special menu - Iberico pork, which was also delicious and totally worth the price ($20).The servicing staff were very friendly and attentive as well! We had such a great experience that we already reserved to come back 2 weeks later before we left the restaurant!
