I love this place! Usually go here with my family and they never disappoint. They have consistently good food and service! I love this place especially because it seems like a smaller, mom & pop type restaurant. On this visit we got an assortment of rolls and sashimi, everything was super fresh and delicious. The star of the show was the special. It was a hand roll with toro, uni, and caviar. The special was so good that we got two rounds of it! Our waitresses were extremely kind and attentive throughout our visit. I would go back here just for them!

Don't come unless you don't mind your lunch taking almost two hours. Came on a Monday afternoon, close to 1:00 pm. There were only a couple of parties inside eating at time we arrived. While we got seated immediately, it took a while before we got our order in. Once our order was put in, it took a long time before any of the food came out. When our food did come out, one of the orders was incorrect. Normally, we would let them know and ask for it to be fixed. But since we had already waited a while, we didn't bother. We were starving by that point. On the day we came, there was only hostess and one sushi chef. I don't know how many cooks were in the back preparing hot food. And I would give them benefit of doubt. However, this is not the first time I have gotten poor service at this restaurant. On another occasion, I came to order take out. That time, they failed to notice us waiting by the door. Then they seated another party that arrived after us before eventually coming to help us. When we said we wanted to do take out, they let us know it would be about an hour wait.Food was decent but there are plenty of good sushi/Japanese restaurants around, that I don't think I'll come back.

Just happened to be in the area and had a craving for sushi! I was a little nervous reading some reviews and the restaurant was as empty. I decided to give it a try anyway. The service wasn't excellent but not bad either. It was average. The staff was a little slow moving and didn't make too much conversation. The sushi was pretty good, but a little pricey I would say for the amount. All the rolls tasted very similar but good! If I'm in the area again, I'll give them another try!

I came to Trusushi with my partner after an appointment and I had a wonderful experience. We got the special uni with bluefin tuna & caviar, spicy garlic edamame, banzai roll and marathon roll. The fish was so delicious and very fresh. The bluefin tuna melted in your mouth like butter. Our server was the sweetest lady ever. She made sure we had everything we needed and a smile never left her face while doing it. She definitely went above and beyond to make sure our experience was exceptional. The prices here are reasonable too. The special we got was $13, which was not bad at all considering what came in it. I can't wait to come back here and try some more of their sushi rolls!

Such a perfect spot for a Saturday afternoon lunch with the family! So filling and they had fantastic service as well. The music was not overwhelming at all, and the ambiance was very welcoming. They have an indoor area as well as a patio, depending on what you are looking for. Huge range of sushi, but they also have bowl options, noodles, and plates to choose from. We all walked away very happy with our meal!

Love the new style sashimi with the truffle oil, great cuts of fish and solid flavor. The garlic edamame is always on point and I love that they do half size rolls so you can enjoy a greater variety. This is my go-to place for mid-priced a la carte sushi. Friendly service and decent prices.

I have been going here consistently for the last two months ever since I started working nearby. The sushi bake salmon roll and Dragon roll is amazing and the staff is super friendly especially Earie who always tries to help and is always sweet. My wife and I really love this place. Their rolls are half size which means you can try a lot more things without committing to a full sized roll. It's pretty quickly become our favorite sushi place. The staff is kind and attentive and they cap each meal with a small artfully carved orange which is a fun touch. Overall really good local sushi spot.
