Tiem Mi Quon

The portion is huge ! Packed with all different proteins. I love that they left the shrimps head-on to reserve that shrimp butter flavor :) the crackers are still crunchy and fresh. Those little details that i always look out for and they nail it all.I love the flavor here and the little soup was served warm (original mi quang serve room temp which i dont like)Service: always good. They always welcome with warmth and check on me for refills (yes the nuoc mat is free)They definitely deserve more attention and i highly recommend this place :)

Friendly service.Bánh xèo was good. Bánh bèo Da Nang nhân ướt was not good. Bánh bèo was "wobbly" as my 7 year old calls it. It was nhão/too "wet". The topping was not like other bánh bèo nhân ướt toppings I've ever had. We prefer banh beo everywhere else. Would not reorder.Mì Quảng was OK.

Definitely a small hole in the wall type vibe, don't let the rating fool you--this place serves pretty authentic Vietnamese food. I came by on a weeknight craving some Bánh xèo, and we also ordered the Bánh bèo and the mi quon, which they're known for.The Bánh bèo was delicious--you scrape the paste off the little dishes, add some sauce, and it's perfect. The Bánh xèo here is the smaller, regional version, and it was the best thing I ate--crispy, coconutty, and so good when wrapped with the veggies and rice paper they provide.The Mi Quon dac biet noodles are made in-house, and they even have a video showing the process. The noodles were good, though I thought they were a bit soggy, but it was my first time trying them, so maybe that's how they're supposed to be. They came topped with chicken, pork, and shrimp, and there wasn't much broth in the dish.Overall, I had a great meal. The service was quick, and though they mainly spoke Vietnamese (which I don't), they understood me pretty well.

Maybe we came in at a wrong time , but it wasn't as good this time than the time my mom went last month . We got the mi quan dac biet and banh xeo dac biet . Both were ehh . The mi quan was cold and the banh xeo was way too oily . The nuoc mam needs some work too . Was hoping it was going to be good since my mom liked it the first time she tried the place

So glad to discover this new Vietnamese restaurant. Based on the name, they are known for the mi quang (or mi quon), but I personally like their banh xeo. Banh xeo dac biet comes with 4 banh xeo, enough to share for 2 people. Banh xeo has pork, shrimp, squid, bean sprout, and mushroom. The dipping sauce was great and they gave so much fresh veggies. Can easily make 2-3 spring rolls with each banh xeo. It is so good and crispy. The banh xeo here is way better than Quan Mii for sure: better taste, better price, and more quantity. The bun bo hue was pretty good too. Their mi quang (yellow noodles) was ok for me. I think they didn't give me enough broth or the noodles absorbed all of the broth so there was nothing left at the bottom. The first few bites were great though and very flavorful chicken, pork, and shrimp.

This is a small new restaurant that just opened in Garden Grove. I came here because my mom was raving about their mi quang. I ordered squid banh xeo and banh beo and wow I'm just super impressed! The banh xeo is super cripsy. Each order of banh xeo comes with 4 crepes and so much veggies. Their fish sauce is delicious! Banh beo is definitely different compared to other restaurants and it stood out to me. My mom is obsessed with their mi quang. Since I'm not a huge fan of pork, they can replace the pork for chicken to accommodate. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes. The complimentary iced herbal tea is so refreshing

My first time here, I ordered the Mì Quởn Đặc biệt. Having high expectation and excited to try out this dish, afterall they named the restaurant after this dish. But sadly, i was not blown away, the sauce is a little bland in my opinion, and the flat noodles were a little soggy. But staff was friendly and service was good. I like the fact that all the condiments are already on the table including napkins, which is a plus. They even give out free nước mát.

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad here. The name of the restaurant says it all. They serve Mi Quon or Mi Quang. It's a type of dish found in central Vietnam. Everyone who comes here order either mi quon or banh xeo. It's as authentic mi quon as you can get. If you don't like the taste, it's probably because you don't like mi quon or you don't like authentic mi quon. And their banh xeo is delicious. I like them more than Quan Mii. Instead of one big one, you will get three smaller banh xeo. It's crispy. So good! The restaurant is small. It's located in a shopping mall that is not predominantly Vietnamese. But if you're craving Mi Quang and you want authentic cuisine, go to Mi Quon.

If you like Mi Quang and Banh Xeo, this is one of the options. The restaurant is quite small but serve quickly. Mi quang 4/5

I grew up in Quang (Quon) Nam and love this place for their authentic central Vietnamese food! We ordered Bánh xèo (so crispy), bánh bèo ướt, bún bò and mì quảng! They are so so delicious, flavorful and have a large portion with a lot of side vegies. I prefer Mì Quảng a bit more salty so fish sauce is ready in the table to add more.The two waitresses are friendly. The place is clean. This is the best Central/Quang Nam food in OC and I been living here for a decade. Will come back and recommend to my friends.
