Thuy Nhi Coffee & Sandwich

It's good to know someone who has the business cards for places she likes. After I asked for recommendations for places which make egg rolls, she sent me a picture of the business card for Thuy Nhi Coffee & Sandwich. Thus began our trip to Fountain Valley to buy what we knew would be excellent. As usual, we trusted her taste.Vegetarian egg rolls: 5 stars. A big hit with me, my husband and my in-laws. Fresh, crunchy, and tasty.Pork dumplings: 5 stars. I am not sure how to describe them but they are kind of like soup dumplings with pork and pâté, not XLB. Savory.If you want Báhn Mì, I did not buy one, but when I was watching my husband's pork Báhn Mì being assembled, it was larger with more pork than the restaurants in our area include in their sandwiches. When asked, he said Thuy Nhi's tasted better, too. I regretted not getting one for myself. Next time, right?All in all, it's a great take out place. In terms of customer service, the lady who helped us was nice and efficient.

Went to this place because I wanted to try Spring Rolls, I've literally only seen spring rolls on that video game Cooking Mama. These Spring Rolls did not disappoint! Very flavorful. The fried rice was good, not amazing just good. Shrimps were good, seasoned/sauced really well. I'm not sure what kind of veggies those were but they were delicious. Good price.

I often come here for egg rolls and steam rice rolls. The egg rolls are very tasty and the rice rolls are freshly made daily. They sell rice rolls by the pound and also give you bean sprouts and sauce. Come in the morning for best selections. If you come in the afternoon not much left since they do not make more food to sell in the afternoon. I tried their sandwiches and other food items as well and they all tasted good. Parking is okay. They closed on Sunday.

The quality of the foods is so bad. Too much MSG so I was dizzy after eating some. The price is ridiculous. The customer service is even worse because there are no "hello" and "thank you." Never be back here even if the foods are free. We don't recommend this place for foods to everyone because they are unhealthy. This place deserves 0 star. I have a terrible experience with all the women there. They claimed themselves Catholic, shame on them. My wife ask me to go to buy $20 pate chaud and they gave me 15 counts. Instead of 16 count. Be careful with your money and quantity when you bought at this place. One of the woman said it is my fault that makes her miscounted my pate chaud. Also I asked for the extra box for my pate chaud, she ignored me.

A friend of mine recommended this fast food deli so I finally came. I was impressed w the many simple Vietnamese fare for reasonable prices. I bought 2 soups, bitter melon my husband liked n shrimp sour soup. This soup was so so but at $2 there was no complaint.The stewed fish was too salty n too sweet at the same time.The grilled shrimp $1 each was good, so was the stuffed pepper.I like the pâté chaud, $1.50 for 2, it was very good.If I consider how reasonable everything is and the taste is ok, this can be 3.5 stars upgraded to 4 but everything is much too hot n salty n sweet killing the underlying taste. In this environment of a pandemic, every other person I know over 40 has diabetes! and every VN restaurant food add tons of sugar in their food, I don't get it, in VN n Paris the food is never sweet.Come try it, my friend loves it, it was raining n they had many customers.

A great one stop spot for Banh mi and hot viet food. The prices are great, the coffee is strong, and the Banh mi was packed and delicious. I got #1 combination with everything and I ate it up so fast. I was in and out within 5 minutes. They called me up, I knew what I wanted, and they made it fast. All the bad reviews are about the service. You tell them what you want, they give it you, you leave. It's not that hard. The same people complaining are the same ones that was amazing service and won't even tip. Pros: delicious food for an amazing price Con: I don't live closer. COVID: Everyone wears masks and they enforce it.

Great place to get your banh mi fix. I recommend the xiu mai banh mi since it has the same filling as the pate chai. Also the fast food table items are of a great variety and decent quality.

I wasn't going to leave a review until after I had asked my mom to stop by their store(since mom lives closer to them than I do) to either get a new order or refund. I live 20 minutes away from this place. I got up early and picked up food Togo to leave at home for my mom to feed the kids when I leave for work. (Keep in mind, my mom doesn't live with us, she was coming over to babysit the kids for me). When I got home, I was getting ready to feed our baby some rice with some small pieces of this pork meat... until I saw a couple of dead ants on the rice(from the sauce), meat, AND inside the Togo cup of food. I immediately threw away the bowl I had prepped for our 1year old baby and called the store. The lady told me to go ahead and come back in and she'll give me a new one. So I called my mom and asked if she could stop by there before heading to our house. I sent my mom pictures so she could show the employees. When my mom got there, the lady gave my mom a hard time AND asked for the food back! Wtheck?! She made the assumptions that we were lying and gave my mom a hard time and told my mom she needed to bring the food back later this afternoon. It's freaking $5.50. I come here at least once to twice a week since I stop by Mia Juicery when I do go there. So needless to say, please check your food before eating it. This will most likely be the last time I come here.

With the raising prices everywhere,.Thúy Nhi is still affordable.The quality is above average.The service is adequate.Nice, airy pleasant atmosphere.I would come back.
