I took my mom here for her birthday and she was eating so much! She absolutely loved the restaurant and she had a great time. They were able to make rsvp last minute for a group of 9. Pretty big restaurant with many tables. It was busy but they did their best to accommodate and come around to check in. We had to ask them for several items twice but I can only imagine all the request for this type of meal. We ordered the baked cat fish and I highly recommend you putting this order in first. It takes about 30 mins to bake, but it's so worth it. I have no idea how they make the fish so tender and so crispy at the same time. We ordered the large catfish for 9 people, I think the XL catfish would have been better for our group. You cannot come here and not order this. In addition to the catfish, make sure to Bo lat lo, Bo nuong, and some of the beef slices. There were mix and match combinations but it's delicious. Highly recommend. Making spring rolls with both fish and then having beef spring rolls after is top tier. I enjoyed their shrimp salad too! Very fresh and good mix of fish sauce. Def would come back!

Saturday, March 1st, 2025Vietnamese Grill FoodThis restaurant is famous for fresh grilled fish and a variety of meat 7-course meals. (See menu and pictures)We ordered juicy marinated beef rolls in Hawaiian lotus leaf for an appetizer. The first bite just exploded in our mouths with savory, sweet, tender bites of ground beef. It was like a flavor bomb went off, but you know, in a good way.For the main course, we ordered a small fried catfish. The fish was fried to perfection with crispy skin. The taste of the fish was so fresh, not like the fish was frozen. We were like, 'This fish is so fresh, it's practically swimming on the plate!'They left a small condiment on the table so we could mix the sauce to our liking. Because, let's be real, who doesn't love a good sauce? They have an extensive menu. Like, seriously, it's longer than your Costco receipt. The food is authentic! As in, we're pretty sure the chef's grandma used to make this stuff. The restaurant is very spacious and clean. The service was great. Our server was friendly.I absolutely recommend this beautiful, authentic restaurant. Go there, eat all the things, and thank me later.Happy outings!

This is THE place for large parties or family/friend gatherings. I called on a Sunday at 5pm to ask if I can reserve tables for a party of 25 people in an hour at 6pm and they were able to accommodate my family. The place was full and there was a line forming outside while we were eating. Parking could also get hard to find (but this is expected in Little Saigon, especially any plazas on Brookhurst and Westminster). The ca nuong (baked catfish) is a must when coming here, as well as the bo 7 mon (7 course beef). Just prepare to use your hands and get messy! It's super fun and the food feels light but is still really tasty.

We're back again today for another delicious meal.We (11 of us) really enjoyed the food here, every time! All the grilled meat and meatballs were so tasty. Even the appetizer salad with both beef and shrimp. The main ingredient that made everything so good are their dipping sauces, with a lot of hot ground chilli.Since one order comes with seven courses of beef, for 11 people, we ordered 8 or 9 servings, and the big grilled fish. That's plenty to feed the whole group.Service was great and attentive,

I love love love this place. Plenty of free parking. Staff is extremely sweet, helpful and always around. The place is huge, lots of seating. They have mam nem sauce on the condiment rack on the table, so you can smell fishy to your hearts content. Just don't spill it or you'll be smelling like fish all day long. They also have lemongrass on the table for you to use as much as you want which I love so I don't have to ask. The food is very fresh and delicious. They are not cheap on the sides. You can ask for more if you need more carrots, rice paper, greens etc. I love to get the seven courses of beef and extra orders of meat. I love their salad in the beginning of the courses. I usually order more of it, it's addicting. I also like the comforting star pasta rice porridge at the end. So simple yet delicious and end to a meal. I would eat here everyday if I was nearby. They also offer baked catfish, which you need to order ahead. Sold by size, ranges from $50-115 per whole fish.

When it comes to Thein An Bo 7 Mon, my family and I are ride-or-die fans of their Rosemead location, so naturally, we automatically love the Garden Grove location. The staff are just as friendly and welcoming, and the space is even bigger, perfect for big family dinners. We're all about the 7 Course of Beef meal here for $35 (1 order) to share with me, my mom, and my dad. It comes with: #1 - Shrimp & Beef Salad#2 Thin Sliced Beef Tenderloin#3 Marinated Slices of Beef Tenderloin#4 Juicy Charbroiled Meatball#5 Hawaiian Lot Leaf#6 Steamed Beef Paste W/ Peanuts#7 House Special Beef SoupFair warning: I didn't get to individual pictures of the courses because my dad ate it immediately hahaha! At this location, their hot plate is a combo plate for boiling and grilling - super cool! My absolute favorite part of eating Vietnamese food is wrapping everything in spring rolls. They give you rice paper, fresh herbs, pickled veggies, lettuce, etc. so you can DIY your perfect roll with your 7 courses of beef. The whole process is so fun and you get to eat lots of veggies, too. It's a win-win!We've also tried their Bo Tai Chanh, a bright, tangy Vietnamese beef salad in which the beef is "cooked" in lemon juice. It's fresh, zesty, and SO good with fish sauce dressing and lots of greens. I also love their Vietnamese coffee here; it's strong and rich, just exactly what you need to power through the meal. If you're craving deliciously cooked beef, fresh veggies, and a hands-on dining experience, Thien An Bo 7 Mon is the place to be!

My family, friends, and I love coming to Thien A for our special events and birthdays! They are always able to accommodate our larger ten people groups while still giving great service! We always order the bo7mon, my favorite is the seasoned beef. Each order usually serves 3-4 people depending on how much you eat! You can also order the catfish as well! They prepare and make it so well. The skin is crispy and buttery, melts in your mouth and the fish itself is juicy!

Decided to give this place a try again for the first time in forever. The food was delicious, the beef for the fondue and the grill was tender. The bo la lot, the charbroiled meatballs, and the steamed meat paste were all very well seasoned. We got one order of the 7 courses. It comes with 3 pieces of meat for each course. They do give a generous amount of veggies and rice paper for you to customize your own rolls. They also give out wet towelettes at the end of your meal. Service also exceeded my expectation. Most of the servers are young adults. They were friendly and helpful and very accommodating.

Thiên Ân Bò 7 Món Restaurant is the largest Vietnamese restaurant in Orange County specializing in the 'Seven Courses of Beef' dishes. It replaced an older restaurant serving the same dishes at the same location about 2 years ago. After remodeling, the restaurant now has a new and clean interior with a modern decor. Many the dining tables have updated electric grills. There are two other 'Thien An' restaurants in town, but I prefer this location for its spaciousness and ample parking. Their menu includes other Vietnamese dishes, but I only come here for their beef courses and the grilled catfish dish, which they also specialize in. Their beef courses taste the best in town in comparison with other restaurants or fast food locations selling the same dishes. Tip: The restaurant sells two of their best selling beef dishes frozen: Bò lá lốt and Bò mỡ chài. They are great for takeout and stored in your freezer, ready to be popped into the microwave or oven for a quick meal. They do not come with veggies or dipping sauces. They can be wrapped in rice papers with lettuce, eaten with baguettes or rice.
