My friend and I were craving a milkshake and stumbled upon this spot near OCC. I love the ambiance as it gave it a bar vibe with milkshakes instead. My friend and I enjoyed how kind the workers were and felt very cozy here. I got the Glamp fire and my friend got the Love Letter. The serving is hugeee!! Honestly shouldve shared but we did our best to drink all of it. I never had milkshakes that taste salty before. Its delicious but not something I would get too often. I might come back to try their flatbreads and get a different milkshake. Possibly there will be one I like. The spot seem to have certain events every week as well, so follow their social media or maybe check them out in the evening to see whats happening!

Want a chill date spot with a chill drink? Then the Straw is the spot for you! I love the bartender style of service and the sort of vintage style of this place. I ordered the boardwalk, which surprisingly tasted not overly chocolatey and had a hint of saltiness. It was a rich drink without being overbearing. For a lighter dessert, I recommend the Donkey Kong, which had plenty of the banana flavor while being its own unique shake.

Best Vegan milkshake I've ever had. Even the whip cream was vegan. The guys working there were super friendly and helpful in choosing a milkshake. And the store was a cute, little 50's living room type of vibe. I loved everything about this place! Definitely a staple now.

My favorite OC milkshake joint. Eclectic mix of milkshakes and a throwback vibe. Love the choices of milk alternatives, too.

Located in a small plaza, we visited Milkshakes by the Straw on a Friday afternoon, and the place wasn't too busy. We found it based on Yelp reviews, and upon entering, we were greeted by a vibrant atmosphere featuring light colors with an emphasis on white and turquoise. The ambiance is clean and casual, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a treat. The menu offers a variety of classic milkshakes with a twist, and you can even add a boozy note to them with options like bourbon. They also cater to different dietary preferences with vegan ice cream substitutes available. We decided to try the Bangkok Betty, a unique blend of Thai mango and coconut. The shake was perfectly balanced--not too sweet, and neither flavor overpowered the milkiness of the shake. The texture was also spot on, making it a delightful and refreshing treat. The service was attentive as we took our time exploring the different options on the menu. The staff was friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. We also noticed they have a setup ready for a band, which adds to the charm of the place. We'd love to come back with live music in the background--it's the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're in the mood for a delicious and creative milkshake!

We ordered the Glamp-Fire (special milkshake) and it hit the spot! We visited today (a Saturday) around 4pm, and there is plenty of parking and seating in and out. There are a lot of great options for all palates and they really put love into the shakes! The employee working was super helpful and checked on us to make sure we liked what we ordered. Great spot for a special dessert with friends or family (or alone too...)!

Saw good reviews and decided to stop by for a sweet craving, however I came out with mixed feelings. The service is amazing and welcoming, and we opted for Mint Condition and The Street. Although it was nicely presented, I wasn't sure how I felt with the overly sweet cookie butter and half burnt biscuit as a topping. The Street's overall shake was good! My partner was slightly disappointed to find that Mint Condition was actually 2 scoops of mint ice cream and 1/3 of the cup was the shake itself. Maybe the modern milkshakes weren't quite for us, but the ambiance and the vibes of the place were nice if you're looking for something new to try.

This is the cutest little shake shop! They offer a nice variety of signature shakes, and the ambiance is fantastic. We arrived around sunset, and the vibe shifted from a bright, sunny day to a laid-back, dimly lit spot with great music in the background. The staff was very friendly, even coming out from behind the counter a few times to offer napkins and check if everyone was enjoying their shakes.
