If you haven't tried this place you're missing out. I used to think Rubio fish tacos were good but let me tell you this truck is the best! No, I'm not getting paid for this promotion just being honest I've tried everything in their menu. Their food is made with love and a lot of flavor. The couple who runs this place is also very but very kind. Do yourself a favor and go eat at this truck. You will not regret it. You're welcome.

I'm so thankful my nieces and I randomly tried Playa Baby over a year ago when they used to park on Central, during the "little TJ" days (Now located on Birch between Central/Warner aka "taco alley"). We would walk up and down the street trying to figure out which truck to order from.Playa Baby has been part of my life more than once a month ever since. Being a regular made it easy to become friends with the friendly faces of the truck, Chef Amanda and Chef Red, and I LOVE THEM!! Service is always top notch, food is always cooked fresh and made to order! You have the option to preorder if you don't want to wait, check out their IG. The shrimp tacos are so good and if you're a spicy lover, go with the habanero sauce. The batter is seasoned to perfection. The flavors are built in each layer of everything they serve. Playa Baby also offers a variety of lemonades and limeades that you won't ever experience anywhere else. They offer off menu items that never disappoint too! Hope you stop by when they have ceviche. Also, have you ever had a deep fried tamale? Shhhh.. you didn't hear it from me! Look for the little bus with festive lights, converted into the last shrimp and fish taco truck you'll ever need to look for.

Honestly one of my favorite places to eat in all of Orange and Los Angeles counties, and I'm so lucky to have them just down the street from me. I've tried everything on their menu and *nothing* is a miss. Red Feather and Amanda are also just two of the realest, most down-to-earth people. So don't just go for the best fish tacos, tamales, and tortas around -- go because these two deserve your business.Seriously, go. Delicious hot and fresh every time! Can't get enough of their food a family go to. Everything is scratch made and fresh every time. Have even hooked people that don't usually eat fish, they crave their tacos. Great food!

These fish tacos at Playa Baby are unbeatable!I had been on a taco spree, eating them every day for 17 days straight, and I knew I had to wrap it up with something special. Finding Playa Baby was a stroke of luck because those fish tacos were hands down the best I've ever had. The owner even took the time to chat with us, and you could feel his passion for food with every word.Using only top-notch ingredients, every bite was perfection. I'm not a cilantro fan, but the owner kindly made me a custom batch without it. Just a heads up, cilantro is usually in the mix and most likely will not be able to take it out. I was just lucky as he ran out of his existing batch. I'll give their tamales or tortas a try next time since I don't think they have cilantro!He also mentioned that Yelp's been giving him trouble with updating their hours. I've eaten fish tacos everywhere. Trust me I know what I'm talking about every 3 months I'm in Ensenada. The fish is on point the cabbage is on point. The service is a 10/10 I like how they use a megaphone to call my name. That's perfect cause I have bad hearing. It may be dark to find but if you the see a school bus parked outside you know there's great food being served you. 10 outta 10. Will always keep coming back.

Love this fish taco truck! I made the hubby take me here for my birthday last night. The shrimp and fish tacos are crunchy and spicy with both their sauces on them!! Yassss please!! Come try these tacos. We have also had their tortas and tamales and they are soo good but my favorite are the tacos!

Honestly some of the best fish tacos and tamales I have ever tried. Habanero sauce is spicy!!
