Founded in 2012 and with locations nationwide, The Pizza Press wants you to "be newsworthy" by creating your own custom pizza/wings or selecting a signature pizza/salad and pairing with one of the many craft beers on tap. The restaurant theme is inspired by 1920s Americana newspaper which explains why their signature pizzas have names like "The Times" and "The Tribune". We visited the Woodbridge location off Barranca Parkway for dinner after catching a movie at the AMC next door. The restaurant was busy and looked to be popular among local teenagers and families. There's also a playground conveniently located outside. We ordered the Publish Your Own (PYO) Pizza and topped it with fresh and premium ingredients like spicy red sauce, minced garlic, mozzarella, pepperoni, smoked ham, bacon, meatballs, mushrooms and jalapeños. Service was friendly and efficient. If you're a fan of the 'build your own pizza' concept and you've never been before, then it's time to check out The Pizza Press!

I used to have a Pizza Press right across the street but it's been gone for a bit. It was fantastic & I was craving a pizza. I ordered from Door Dash & am a bit disappointed in this one. Crust was thinner than I recall, toppings very haphazardly topped; some slices okay, others no topping. Toppings seemed slim from what I recall & even with delivery, pizza was quite cold. I'll given them another shot in person but wasn't particularly impressed, and rather a bit disappointed when I remember how good the one across the street was.

The pizza is pretty good, but they are super disorganized. The last few times we've been there they forgot something from our order and it's a hassle to get them to fix it. It's a decent place to go if they aren't busy. The pizza is made fresh, but I don't think we will plan to come back.

Received via Door Dash; it was a direct and on time delivery. That said, the pizza crust is very thin yet was doughy/raw/chewy throughout the whole middle/center of pizza. Yuck. The garlic-cheesy bread is nothing more than a very thin crust, oblong shaped cheese pizza. The side red sauce/marinara arrived ice cold, thick and seemed more like tomato paste? Yuck. To round all this out; there was a side salad. Loads of disappointing/odd tiny unseasoned croutons. There was fancy packaging but I'd rather of had dynamite food. Disappointing and won't happen again.

Nooo no no- don't do it. First off I have to say, I made a mistake. I went for a salad and the boneless wings. Big no no. Let me break it down. Chicken Caesar salad- $12.50 & came pre-made in a plastic bowl with a packet of dressing! Just like from a vending machine. Awesome. And a bad salad generally- Albertsons prepackaged is better.Boneless wings- again, FROZEN. These defrosted, toasted but still slightly mushy "wings" come naked with the sauce you choose on the side for dipping. Go with Tyson frozen wings rather than wasting your money here.Pizza- "build your own!" Finally the food they specialize in! Tried my husbands, the crust was very thin (but not in a good way?) and somehow the pizza was still soggy in the middle and just generally bad. All in all- go to TJ's and buy their frozen food instead- it'll be a better experience!

"finished with fresh basil and basil pesto" i do not see any of that. I waited almost 40 mins for my chicken wings because it seems like the employees forgot to even do it. I tipped 15% just to get such a sad looking pizza with missing toppings. None of the employees felt welcoming to me and felt uncomfortable talking to them because they look like they do not want to work. Not coming back. But ngl the wings are good though.

Came here today for the first time. I had the chicken caprese salad and the Chronicle pizza. Both were delicious. The basil they use here is so fresh and just gave such a burst of flavor in every bite. The crust could have been cooked a tad more as the center of our pizza was too soft and had a large soggy section however the flavor was still great. I do wish they offered iced tea but they still had tons of other drink options. There was a nice open feel to the dining area with lots of natural lighting and the location is great too.

I ordered 2 extra large pizzas , the Harold and Chronicle. i always customize the Harold, by adding garlic and caramelized onions in the base, easy on mozzarella and add some Goat cheese and finish with arugula, herbs and ranch. It comes out amazing. I had to pay a little extra for customizing it. They have raised their prices but so is every where else. I had a coupon so that helped a lot. They were very busy making lots of pizzas probably for Super Bowl and a kids party. I thought the staff was very nice and were working very hard to make the large orders and help me and other customers. The cashier was very sweet and the 2 girls making the pizzas were also nice and answered my questions. The pizzas were delicious. I would definitely come back.
