I took a group of high school students to the restaurant. I loved having a private room for the group.The food was great and the kids enjoyed it.Great job.

After they closed iHop in Tustin/Irvine we set out to find a new place for pancakes. And we found The Original Pancake House. We are so glad to have found this place and it isn't too far from us. I was especially happy to see they have Swedish pancake. iHope removed it from their menu recently and made me very upset. I am also impressed that they carry a very fancy brand of tea. Even much nicer places don't have such good tea. They aren't perfect though. I once ordered Dutch pancake and it was very undercooked. I told the waiter and he kept arguing with me that it's cooked correctly. I've had Dutch pancakes many time at much nicer places and they aren't supposed to be doughy. No pancake is supposed to be doughy. Anyway, they're usually good.There is one thing that the server did which I find very rude. When you pay, you pay electronically at the table. It asks how much tip you want to pay. The server was standing right over me and staring at the machine. Basically trying to shame me to tip more. Next time I go there, if the server does it again, I will purposely tip low so he'll learn a lesson.

The best place for omelets (among other treats)! Nobody makes lighter, more delicious omelets than TOPH! Simply THE BEST!

A must try breakfast restaurant in Orange. They have hands down the best fluffy and MOIST waffles I've ever had. Whenever I'm craving waffles, this is the only place I'll suggest. My favorite are the fresh strawberry waffles. They are topped with a sprinkle of powered sugar and house made whipped cream that is sweet and fluffy. Bacon slices are thick, chiles toreados are sprinkled with chili powder and lime juice and I always ask for a side of sour cream to go with my Deluxe Home Fried Potatoes. These three items are a must for me and highly recommend it. Service is always friendly and happy to help. If you want to avoid the long wait, consider going past 12pm. I also asked about the difference between 49rs Pancakes and Swedish Pancakes as I was considering it and I was told by the waitress that the 49rs Pancakes are more eggy than the Swedish Pancakes and the Swedish Pancakes have a crispy edge.

We came in for brunch on a weekend and did not have to wait long for a party of 5. Service was great, very friendly. Ambiance is casual diner style cafe. Food was okay overall.- Chorizo scramble (3/5): It was good but not great. A bit dry so could use some other salsa besides pico de Gallo.- Corned beef hash (3/5): Did not really hit the spot. We asked for it crispy, but the flavor tasted off, not as savory and salty as usual.

The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is because the server was not personable. Other that the food was tasty and the restaurant was clean. I will be back to try other breakfast options.

This was the 2nd location I've tried for the original pancake house. It was after this location, I realized they have over 135 franchise locations throughout the country. I actually really like the original pancake house. I prefer it over ihop and Denny's. The pricing and quantity of food is way better.

Breakfast date at this location. First time eating here. The location is meh. The service was okay but we did arrive at 12:15 and they close at 1. Food took very long to come but we realized it was most likely due to the orders of their baked potatoes.Once we received our food, it was totally worst the wait!Eggs and turkey sausage were so delicious. The potatoes were perfection. And the best for last..the pancakes! So yummy and delicious.

First time to come here and not coming back! Service is slow and they got my order wrong. Restaurant is not even full. Food is okay that I can get from other restaurant nearby with better service.
