Food is amazingly savory, the staff attends attentively, and I went on a super busy night no tables empty, still got my meal in a timely manner and drinks are on point. One of the best Pita bread in LA... it's a must for sure

This is the best Mediterranean restaurant in Downey! Love that they make everything from scratch and they proudly use premium quality ingredients. Their kebabs were one of the best ones that I've tried! I was obsessed with their grilled salmon, I really love how it was marinated and very well-seasoned. It was so tender and bursting with flavors.I also ordered their Hot Mezz platter which consists a variety of their appetizers, such as dolma and falafel. This is also great for sharing. I love that their Chicken Piccata platter comes with irresistibly delicious lemon caper sauce. I love how tender, sour, and salty it was. Sooo delicious combined with their rice!We had some Fresh Pineapple and Watermelon coolers, which were so refreshing and satisfying to drink after indulging in all their tasty dishes.I highly recommend this spot if you want a tasty, yet guilt-free meal.The staff here were friendly and provided excellent service.

Strongly recommend having a reservation before arriving. I had reservations for me and a friend on a Saturday night, and the place was pretty full so I'm sure we would've waited a while for a table. We were seated outdoors, which was perfect for us because there were heaters around. I had high hopes for the food but it did not deliver. We ordered a few basic plates: falafel, hummus and salmon ceviche to start. I ordered the original hummus but took the waiter's rec to try half original and half spicy. Neither was great. The falafel was a bit bland even w the sauce. I did not care for salmon ceviche, although my friend did enjoy it. For my main dinner, I had the Mediterranean salad w shrimp. It was refreshing but was missing some flavor. My friend ordered the mixed kabobs and thought the salmon and chicken were good. My favorite part of the meal was my spicy tequila drink (El Chapo & Kate). I had 2 and didn't even feel a buzz. I read another review that said it was pretty weak and I agree. But I did enjoy its taste. Apart from the food not being the best, i thought it was a good local place to grab a light and casual bite. It's very aesthetic and the service from our waiter was great. I don't think I'd go back though.

Came back here for brunch and I gotta say their service and food still taste just as good as when I went two years ago! We reserved a table at 11:45 am so we were seated instantly. The waiter was extremely friendly and set up the heat lamp for us right away since it was a bit windy. We ordered the flight of mimosa. I personally think if you're not doing the bottomless ($22) then you might as well do the flight ($17) because just 1 mimosa itself already cost around $10. We ordered the calamari which was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The dipping sauce that came with it was delicious as well. 5/5Chilaquiles with rib eye steak - the chips itself were good since it was crispy and not soggy like most chilaquiles. The rib eye was cooked perfect as requested and the eggs were good as well. Perfect over easy eggs. 4/5Lamb chops- we ordered this for medium and it was so good!! I normally don't like lamb but this was delicious, tender, and flavorful. It was not gamey at all which I love. It came with mash potatoes. Steak and eggs - we asked for the steak to be medium well but the steak was so overcooked, it was hard to chew. Medium well but more like well well well done. Just a basic breakfast in my opinion. Overall, I'm glad they still have great service and great food.

This place is a vibe! Pretty bar, spacious indoor and outdoor seating, upbeat music, and the food is excellent! Our server, Kenneth, was so friendly and made great recommendations on which items to choose from on the menu. We started with the Hibiscus Martini, Wild Violette and Deviled Filet Mignon. The Hibiscus Martini was a tad too sweet for me, but I loved the Wild Violette with Redemption bourbon, citrus, honey, Crème De Violette & De Mure, blackberries and egg white. The complimentary pita bread was all puffed up and thin, just the way I like it!The Deviled Filet Mignon was fire!! Prepared medium rare, the steak was marinated in a spicy mango chutney with sautéed bell peppers, onion and jalapeños. Airline Chicken Piccata - the chicken breast with drumstick was roasted and juicy, sautéed seasonal veggies were fresh and the lemon caper sauce was zesty. Olive Lamb Shank - omg the lamb was so succulent, the meat just fell off the bone. The roasted garlic mash was creamy and paired well with the lamb.The Knafeh was one of the best I've tasted! The shredded filo was crispy, the pistachio filling wasn't too sweet and I loved the fresh cream and berries that accompanied it. Everything was so flavorful and delicious! The owner, Sam, came by and checked on us and was so warm and inviting. Plenty of parking in the area. 5-star experience overall hands down!

This Mediterranean spot is definitely Downys hidden gem. A modern chic and stylish indoor and outdoor setting along with handcrafted cocktails? Oh Yeah this is one Hot spot that's surely a must if you're in the area. We started off with the Deviled Filet Mignon that was pan seared to perfection with colorful veggies on the top. Next was the Airline Chicken Piccata that was so tender and juicy that it really made me think chicken can really be done right when you have a good chef. Another specialty item we devoured was their Lamb Shank and this hunk of burning love was so succulent and fall off the bone it made me moan with delight. Oh I can't forget the dessert! The Knafeh which is a Lebanese pastry made with shredded Filo and milk topped with syrup and pistachios was the perfect ending to this Mouthgasm adventure. Everything we had was flavorful along with the plating that made it even better. The service was on point and the recommended cocktails hit the spot. And that's my take on it, Peace out

We didn't receive the best service unfortunately. Majority of their seating is outdoors. We had to ask 3 or 4 times to have the heater turned on. Our server could have done a better job in making that happen in a timely manner (we received our food before anyone got to the heaters). The food is pretty solid, but the portions are smaller than I expected. I enjoyed the gyro meat I ordered, but it was a little overcooked. It also took a while to come out; I ordered a salad and added gyro but they came out separately which was unexpected. The pita comes out warm and it's very fresh.

TL;DR: This place is a great local spot! The food is very tasty and I appreciated the service so much. Plus the vibe is super cute!Pros: service is so friendly, the menu has sooo many options (including lamb shanks!), drinks are really good (there's a full bar), and the hummus and pita bread are freshly made. The couscous was really good and chicken was nicely flavored!Cons: parking can be a nightmare depending on the day bc the restaurant is in a shopping center. The server only brings out 1 pita bread at a time (I waited almost 10-15 min for my 1 slice of pita bread after my hummus showed up and had to wait for another 1 slice another 15 min for the next slice). I wasn't eating alone so imagine all sharing that 1 slice?! Also the garlic sauce is veryyy strong and not as creamy as I like. I only ate a half a teaspoon and I still smelled like garlic the next day. All together, it's worth coming back to try more dishes, but I will pace my eating next time if I get something that involves pita bread.
