It is so hard to find restaurants with British food, let alone one so delicious and well executed, so when we tried the Olde Ship we were so pleasantly surprised. Growing up in Fullerton, the Olde Ship has always been a famous spot that we would hear of often, so I am surprised it took us this long to try it. When we walked in, the host was extremely kind, and our waiter Ovais took care of us right away. He was so kind the entire time, offering us suggestions, checking on us often, and making sure our drinks were always full. We ordered the Traditional English Breakfast, Bangers & Mash, One Piece Cod Meal with a side of Curry, and the Sticky Toffee Pudding. Everything was delicious. My boyfriend got the english breakfast and felt that the deep fried bread was a little too greasy and made it hard for him to finish everything, but the HP sauce they provided helped cut through the grease a little bit. The bangers & mash were delicious and felt like such a homemade meal. They are known for their Fish & Chips, but we personally feel that their other dishes are much better than their fish, but the side of curry sauce did make the dish better. Finally, the sticky toffee pudding was phenomenal. We were already so full and thought we couldn't eat anymore food, but once we took a bite of the sticky toffee pudding, it was gone in less than 30 seconds. It was warm, had a deep, nutty sweetness, and the cream brought it all together. The true star of the show and something that will definitely bring us back is the decor and ambiance of this restaurant. It is so full of history and knick knacks that we could stare at the walls for hours. We will definitely be coming back to try more things on the menu and to experience the ambiance again!

This was a delightful place to have a business lunch early on a Thursday.Whatever hazy they had on tap was delicious. More importantly, all the food was excellent. The mushroom appetizer! The menu says the fish of the fish and chips dish is award-winning. It was indeed top-tier, but still not the best I've had here in the South land. When I first arrived, I was confused and turned around because I had only been to the Santa Ana location, sad to learn that location has closed, but I will say the decor and vibe is so similar. It's like you're having some type of déjà vu if you've been to the other location, but not this one. This is one of the top five British pubs in all of Southern California and if you were into that sort of thing, it is well worth the trip !

Fantastic little pub in Fullerton. There's a quiet side for dining and a bar. If you wanna be a little rowdy and in the summer and spring and fall, they're seating outside like a proper beer garden. A neighborhood pub that one might find in Milton Keynes - not ancient, but quality. Appropriate decor, but not too kitschy. The beer is fresh and poured at the right temp and served in the right glass. They have all the good English, Scottish, and Irish beers. A deep selection of scotch at the bar. The food is great. Fresh and yummy. I will say that the Scotch eggs used to be yummier they are still good but they have been surpassed by the ones at The Olde King's Head in Santa Monica (worth a visit as well). The bar at the Olde ship is clean. The bathrooms are ship shape. Staff generous and friendly. Parking is crap, but that is the nature of Harbor Ave.

Coming to the old ship on Christmas Eve has been a family tradition as long as I can remember. The Pub is always so warmly decorated and festive during the holidays. You just can't resist to keep going back for more!As always, we popped in but this time for just some drinks to send us off on our night. Everybody is friendly and the energy and vibe is fantastic here 'only a stranger but once'.

I had a craving for a meal fit for the queen so I drove to Fullerton to see the olde ship. The service is always great and the meals delicious! You'll enjoy British rock music playing over the speakers and lads wearing football club (soccer) jerseys. The pub can get pretty crowded so be sure to get there early. I forgot to take a photo, but I'll be back. The peas and carrots, and mashed potatoes with beef gravy pair so well with the pastry breaded meats. I'mGetting hungry thinking about it right now.
