The Market Place at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel

Brittany you are one of my new favorite people when I visit the Market Place. Friday night when we came into the area, we were facing a medical emergency and you swung into action and helped with providing Orange Juice and a muffin while a member of our party was going into shut down mode. Thank you for your compassion and quick thinking. It's good to know that at this market there are options to grab something quickly. The best bet would be, if one comes earlier in the day to have access to sandwiches or salads. As a helpful reminder, as it enters later in the night, the options are limited to small snacks, fruit , and juice and the market place closes at 8pm. If you find yourself hungry, Uber eats would be the next bet to have food delivered to the hotel. We witnessed something door dashing Mcdonalds. I loved the vibe of the fireplace and couches and the holiday theme inside. Next time I visit, Im going to come and say hello to Brittany, and order the club sandwich that my BFF whose a regular patron at the Ritz for their staycations raves about. Game on!

During our stay I came to the marketplace everyday. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The ambiance is very nice too. It's a fast casual food market with breakfast and lunch options. I had the Patty Melt for lunch one day and it was so good, hit the spot. We also enjoyed some of the pastries. One day for breakfast I had the salmon toast and the portion size was huge! They definitely give you plenty to eat. It is more expensive than other places outside of the hotel, but like I said the portions are big and it's convenient.

If you just wanna grab a snack like a salad, this is a place to go. No view though. They have crazy expensive wine bottles and knickknacks. Very cute place to grab breakfast at the Ritz!

A super cute market place with great food! We had the island bowl with ahi tuna. Nice presentation, and tasted delicious! We took this delicious ahi bowl and grabbed a cocktail at the bar. Both were fabulous plus the view made it a nice experience. The Island bowl sits on a bed of bean spouts which I did not think I would like it that much, but it paired very well together. It also came with quinoa, carrots, cucumber, avocado and some mint leaves I do not know the name to. When I first saw it I thought how pretty and colorful the plate looked. Then after I mixed everything up and ate it, everything complimented each other so well!!! Its a small dish so you will not be full. Its a nice snack :)

Hands down best dining options at the Ritz. We've stayed here twice before and every time the Market Place has the best food and drinks on the property. Dare I say, better than the two pricer options across the hall. Fun tidbit - coffee is unlimited! Buy a cup and drink to your hearts delight.

Delicious! I popped over for a cappuccino after a drink at Raya. One barista on duty with a bustling crowd. Wish I could remember his name, as he was so nice and professional. I took a look at the menu and saw the Earl Grey coffee cake. It sounded so amazing, so I ordered one to take to go. Got my cappuccino and it was perfect. Sprinkled a little cinnamon from the condiment bar. Waited a few minutes for my coffee cake and it came out looking like a little piece of artwork. So good!

Cute market for grab and go food or drinks!I ordered the English Muffin breakfast sandwich with no bacon. It came out in ~10 minutes and was nice and warm and super filling. Great service, and lots of seating to get work done near outlets against the wall if needed.

This fun little coffee shop is super accommodating and an easy spot to stop with my kiddo. He had an open-faced peanut butter and banana sandwich with honey and coconut. His sandwich was so good, he talked about it quite a bit.They can make the wraps into gluten free sandwiches and are very helpful in trying to keep you from becoming sick. I enjoyed their coffee drinks and their juices. On my husband's recommendation-avoid the burrito. I'd also avoid the sweet potato hash plate. While pretty, both lacked flavor. The hash was also in a weird bowl that just didn't work for it. My husband had the steak and eggs, they were fine, but also commented that the bowl made it difficult to eat.

Best croissants in OC! Hands down and I've been to many bakeries which specialize in them. They're always warm and fresh too! Their hazelnut late is a must and of course, nothing can beat the one-of-a-kind, spectacular Ritz service.

This a nice spot to grab a snack when visiting the Ritz Carlton. There is a good variety of popcorn, candy, drinks, and desserts. They also have great pizza and paninis here too! The last time we stayed here, my son and I came back from the beach and were so hungry. Not dressed for one of the restaurants, we decided to stop by here and grab a pizza. We were so impressed with how good it was! Yesterday, we came here right after dinner and ordered dessert from here. My son really liked the chocolate ice cream, and I thought the chocolate cake was delicious as well. It was a nice way to end our meal. The decor is fun here. Lots of televisions, a lovely fireplace, plenty tables and chairs. I really like those cozy chairs in front of that large fireplace. I think the lighting is wonderful here as well. For a casual place to grab a quick bite, the Marketplace at the Ritz Carlton is a fun spot. With plenty of snack and dessert options, this is a great stop at when visiting my favorite resort!
