Steak was amazing. I got the 30 day aged. It was incredible. Don't look at the price. Just get it. My wife got the prime New York and loved it. Would give five stars but the artichoke was disappointing as we got the weakest artichoke I've ever seen. Also, it was our friends 20th. And nothing was mentioned or even like a little desert for it. Would totally go back. Want to go and sit at bar as it looks amazing.

All the times we have been at Disney and we were never in the area to catch the bar open (it opens at 4PM) and we finally did! We got a great set of seats at the bar where all the action is. I love sitting and watching the bartenders work their magic with the drinks. The lounge is dark but not so dark you cannot see. It is very relaxing and tranquil actually. The drinks are amazing (I got a vodka martini, ice cold in the prettiest glass with blue cheese stuffed olives). The staff is amazing, very nice and made sure we were doing ok throughout our stay. I believe from 5 on they have live music (jazz) which was pretty cool as well. Plenty of seat whether at the bar or in one of the cozy seats surrounding the bar top. There is a selection of bites as well (but we had just eaten lunch so we'll need to go back to try stuff out). Drinks were tasty, they range depending on what you get (my martini was $20 and worth every penny). My Mom had the brambleberry and really enjoyed it. She said it was light and perfect after all the wondering around we did. Can't wait to go back.

Smiles are always forthcoming while exercising in the happiest place on earth. Wore a skirt with flowing blouse---date night was an active one requiring a 5 mile walk. We took a seat in the luxurious lounge with velvet appointments and ordered from the leather-bound menu book. Someone insisted on the 55 Porterhouse and I had a salad along with a side of truffle macaroni and cheese. Our servers were Rudy and Magic. Water glasses were always full and as usual wine was ordered. Steakhouse 55 has a joyful little lounge full to the brim with regulars overflowing with character.Upon dinner service, all china clinks on the counter at the same time. Service at Disney is like the fine dining restaurant where you are treasured, remembered and given no secret/secrets. Can't finish the gourmet cuisine? We brought some home for family in 3 paper boxes. Environmentally conscious and exceptional. See you soon Magic and Rudy.

Steakhouse 55. We ordered GF dinner rolls, filet mignon, salad, baked potato and scallop potatoes. We asked about a risotto dish. But, server wasn't sure it was gluten free. So we didn't order it. Server ended up bringing it out anyways. We didn't eat since not comfortable if it was GF (and didn't order it) and she said she would have taken off bill. Also had asked for a plain baked potato and got a loaded one from the server instead. I just took out everything and just asked for sour cream. The bartender was able to create a great GF Tito drink with jalapeños and basil. That was amazing! Could have been an off night for the Steakhouse...however, would highly recommend for high tea.

On my second visit here, all the dishes I tried were even better than the last time. Found out their menu changes up certain dishes while some of their popular staples seem to remain static. Got the smothered potato chips once again because they were so delicious last time and they delivered once again. This time they were offering a truffle mac & cheese which was amazing. I love that truffle taste and it was strong with this dish. Best truffle mac I've ever had. Only sad point was that the dish wasn't bigger. Another new one was the lobster pops. These we all really loved as well. The crunchiness of the batter was perfect and the stuffing was soft and perfectly seasoned. This time we opted for dessert and so glad we did. We saw that they had a 24-layer cake and absolutely had to try it. It's definitely impressive and just as delicious as it looks. It wasn't overwhelmingly sweet and the chocolate was quality. Definitely one of my favorite places to grab a bite when in the area. As it's in the hotel, it's open to anyone who may be visiting the Downtown Disney area.

As we all wait for Disneyland Park to reopen, there are certain spots on property that I'm equally as excited to revisit. One of the top ones is the Steakhouse 55 Lounge. After a long day at the parks (or even in between parks) when it's time to chill out and enjoy a drink, one of the best kept secrets is at the Disneyland Hotel's lobby lounge located in the main Fantasyland Tower. AMAZING cocktails, GREAT draft beer selection (which changes regularly with seasonal additions), and DELICIOUS bar menu. The service is consistently top-notch and super friendly. The TV also usually features the must-see games if you're into that.Always strike up conversations with interesting people here too. Just feels like a nice, intimate hangout where the bartenders and staff actually remember you when you come back - and believe me, you will come back! Can't wait to return.

Did you know that you can order from the Steakhouse 55 menu while sitting at the bar in the lounge? Yes, you can but if you're sitting at one of the cushy seats in the lounge, they can just give you the lounge menu. So there are pros and cons. The lounge menu is a pared down version and you can't really order that many items. We did order a few chimichurri steak salads, a BBQ bacon cheeseburger, and lobster roll sliders that turned out to be full sized lobster rolls. Everything was delicious. For drinks, I opted for the Smoked Turkey and Sean had the Manhattan. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of the parks, this is a great place to meet for drinks and a bite to eat. No reservations required.

Came in here looking for some drinks around 4:40 PM because we weren't greeted for 10 minutes at the Hearthstone Lounge. We sat at a table and waited about five minutes for someone to greet us. We were still undecided and looking at the menu, so I only asked for two waters to start.Another ten minutes passed and we decided what to order, but I didn't see the server on the floor for a while. We waited an additional five minutes but nothing. I turned around to the bar and she was there talking with the bartender. We patiently waited more in hopes that she would eventually come out into the lounge and take our order. We just like how we left Hearthstone Lounge without eating or drinking, we left this place with an empty stomach.Instead she leans on the bar and watches TV while conversing with the bartender. So I look towards their direction and wait for them to give me some sort of eye contact. I raised my hand and everything. She didn't see me at all because she was still staring at the TV off to the side. The lounge opens at 4:30 but you're already slacking? Unacceptable service. This plus the experience st the Hearthstone lounge really ruined the afternoon. We hope that they either train their staff better or put more front of house on the floor to attend to guests' needs and expectations.

Solid spot for a drink, and one of the few places you can go in the area and not be bothered my loud obnoxious children! It feels like this lounge exists to entice people to eat at the Steakhouse 55, because it isn't very big, and is situated right outside. It's pretty quiet and laid back, and doesn't offer much in the way of food, but as I said it is a great place for a drink after a long day. Whether you just spent hours and hours in one or both of the parks, or you simply came to Downtown Disney to explore, this bar is nice because it is a bit hidden away. Now, one word of caution, especially to those who haven't been to Downtown Disney recently. If you park at Downtown Disney you're going to have to get validation at a Downtown Disney restaurant, bar, or store. We went to Trader Sam's Tiki Bar and they don't validate! Despite being a short 1 minute walk from DD. We spent 5-10 minutes arguing with the manager of the parking lot about this absurd rule. In fact, we determined we would have been better off buying a ticket to a movie, validating, and just leaving and it would have been cheaper. Parking at Downtown Disney costs an inordinate amount without validation, as evidenced by the car ahead of us that had to pay a $40 fee. So, plan ahead :D

This is a hidden gem at Disneyland. The lounge is great yo relax after a day at the park. They serve some excellent bar food that changes throughout the year. The cheese platter is wonderful as well as the flatbread pizza. Actually there is nothing bad on the menu. Drinks are typical Disney exclusive, I prefer the SMOKED TURKEY, but any one is worth a try. The bourbon flight is a bargain and you can pick what you want.
