The Kebab Shop

I scarfed down the delicious bowl before I could take any photos of it!It was that good! The falafels were flavorful, and moist, even better with their OG Garlic Yogurt and Chili Sauce. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious.While I was enjoying my meal on the outdoor patio, Rene came by to check on us to make sure everything was good and asked if we needed anything. The service here on top of the food is top notch, and I look forward to coming back!

I was glad to see a location open locally. We have frequented other locations for years. What a disappointing meal this was. The 4 of us went for lunch. We got 2 wraps, a bowl, a plate and 2 sides of fries. One boat fries came full the other has half full. When we pointed out the difference to the employee her response was that the full boat had little pieces and the half boat had the bigger pieces. Total nonsense. Terrible customer service. The fries were also cold. There was of course an up charge for the carved lamb meat. For the same up charge the plate came with twice as much meat. Again, inconsistent. Bowl was full of rice and had hardly any salad or meat. We also ordered add ins in our wraps. The amount was negligible. I maybe had 3 olives in my wrap. The other wrap was supposed to have the cilantro humus and you couldn't even taste it. One wrap was long the other was short. Looking around at other customers plates I noticed all of the food portions were very inconsistent. Will say the flavors were good. So the person cooking knew what they were doing. It did get busy as it was lunch time and the employees who looked like they were all early 20s were completely out of their depths. Only reason it's 2 starts and not 1. We may give this place another shot in a few months to see if it's improved. But for now we'll frequent the other locations where we actually feel satisfied after a meal.

TLDR; it's okCame here once it opened since I live in the neighborhood and have been excited for its opening. The interior is nice, kinda gives the vibe of a chipotle. Ordering is easy with the tablets set up on the side and a staff member there to answer any questions. The service I received was really good, everyone on staff was super friendly. The food itself is ok. It took about 30+ minutes for my food to come out after ordering which I was quite surprised by since this place is branded as a quicker service spot. I ordered the rice plate with the grilled chicken, and it was solid but I wish it had more chicken because the ratios feel a bit off. Additionally, it's also a bit pricy in my opinion, considering the amount of protein you get per plate.Otherwise, this place is a great addition to the La flouresta plaza as it brings more diversity to the area. I hope nothing but success for TKS!

I've been to their Cypress location last year so when a friend suggested we head to this one, I knew I was down. This location offers indoor and outdoor seating and there's plenty of both. When you walk in, you have the option to order either from their kiosk or at the front. I opted for their salad bowl with a side of falafel. I also added red onions and jalapenos to my bowl. I love how fresh all the ingredients are. The falafels weren't dry and I appreciated how crispy it was on the outside and soft it was on the inside. Right by the drink station are their three popular sauces, which you can get as much of for free! This place would definitely be a great quick lunch spot. They're located in the plaza with Whole Foods with plenty of parking around it.

I've been seeing a number of ads on social media for the Kebab Shop so I was excited to give it a try when I saw it had recently opened up in Brea. There are two kiosks for self-serve ordering or you can walk up to the front to place your order with a cashier. We did the latter and were greeted with a friendly welcome. Their menu offers wraps, bowls and plates and we decided to get a Bowl with Carved Rotisserie Chicken ($14) as well as a Plate with Carved Rotisserie Lamb Beef ($17.40). I got our order to-go and the food took a little under 10 minutes to prepare so I headed to their little sauce station to grab some of their Garlic Yogurt, Cilantro Jalapeño, and Chili Fire sauce. The garlic yogurt and cilantro jalapeno were my favorite of the bunch - if you like garlic, the former is especially garlicky. As for the food, I enjoyed my meal but the price felt stiff given the amount of food you get as the portion size wasn't anything sizable. Wraps and bowls do not come with a side and I was still left feeling hungry after my chicken bowl which I got with baby greens and fries as the base. Most of the other nearby Mediterranean places that have popped up around the area at least come with one side for a similar (if not cheaper) price. The chicken I got was flavorful, but some of the pieces I had were a bit on the drier side so having the sauces definitely helped and added more flavor. Overall, the food was standard and good, but I personally didn't feel like it lived up to all the social media hype I had seen leading up to it. The Kebab Shop is located in the Whole Foods plaza and while the lot can get crowded at times, it isn't too hard to find parking.

The Kebab Shop has opened a new location in Brea, right in the heart of the modern, upscale shopping centers off Valencia and Imperial Highway (right next to Urban Plates). The interior is spacious, clean, bright, and sleek. It feels comfortable and inviting. Likewise, their staff are kind and helpful. My cashier offered me a lot of information and made sure I felt taken care of. I like the mesh of interior colors between the metallic tinge of the kitchen, the beige tabletops, and the red highlights.The Kebab Shop hits the right notes - fair pricing, fresh quality ingredients, GENEROUS portions, and tasty flavors! For this trip, I got their bowl, and I recommend my build:Bowl ($14) with Lamb Beef (+$1.90)2 base sides: fried & saffron riceKeep "The Original" build: romaine, red cabbage slaw, pickled onion, tomatoes, cucumbers, and O.G. Yogurt sauce (basically an addictive garlic yogurt sauce).Then definitely get extra sides of more O.G. Yogurt sauce and their Cilantro Jalapeño sauce. You get garlicky goodness, tempered by the creamy yogurt, and then a zesty kick plus heat with the cilantro jalapenos.Looks like I'll be adding this place to my rotation of to-go places. Give them a try! :)

We love trying there various Mediterranean places during our lunch outings and was looking forward to dining here. It's located in the shopping plaza where urban plates and capital noodle, so parking is abundant. The establishment was clean and orderly, and sauce/condiments bar was nicely organized. We ordered online and pick up was a breeze. I really like their cilantro jalapeño sauce as it adds a nice kick to the bowls. The beef slices were a lil dry where as the chicken pieces were nice chunks. Will def be back

Went to soft opening, I got a very worm welcoming from a sweet lady in the front , she explained professionally about the menu , I love all the vegetarian options The restaurant looks amazing, the food is so mummy , fresh and tasty I totally recommend this new place in my town Brea

I work in the area saw the new establishment and decided to give it a shot. Lunch was fantastic, service was amazing, very friendly staff. The lamb beef wrap is the go to. Will definitely be back.

Food was super good, first time trying this type of food , was already in the area and decided to try it. Was not disappointed it was so delicious! Place looked super nice as well. Definitely will be coming back for more.
