Good place to get your fix. Good portion size and service. I love the dessert. The only issue is the tables for the sitting

The Grill is located in a small food court within the Persian supermarket, Wholesome Choice. They serve kabobs and stews along with an assortment of rice. For $8.99 I opted for 2 skewers of koobideh kabobs. I went with a ground chicken kabob and a ground beef kabob. After placing my order I waited for a little less than 10 minutes and my order number was called. I then proceeded to the cash register, paid for my meal, and sat at one of the tables located inside the grocery store. Outside seating is available as well.The meal came with perfectly cooked Persian rice, 2 huge skewers of kabobs, a grilled tomato, lavash bread, butter, sumac seasoning, half a lemon, and half of a raw onion. The Persian rice tasted incredible and was on par with other top Persian restaurants in the area. Both the chicken and beef kabobs were tender, juicy, and flavorful. I personally prefer beef koobideh kabobs because they are usually juicier and more flavorful than chicken ones. However in this case the beef koobideh kabob was not as juicy as the chicken.Overall at $9 this was an incredible deal. The quantity of food was so much that I could not finish my food and had to pack it up to eat later. All the food served here is halal. When I need a quick and affordable meal, the Grill is an excellent option!

This place is definitely good.... Always trust the traditional places...... Avoid THE IVY... WORST PLACE EVER IN TUSTIN

Really great food for the value. I always get the rotisserie meals and it's always worth it.

I got chicken soltani that had a skewer of chicken koobideh and one more skewer of another type of chicken. The portions were huge and I was able to eat only half of it. Chicken was juicy and flavorful on a bed of heaped rice. Had to wait for like 15 mins but was finally worth it.

My brother and I came in about 15 minutes before closing feeling extremely guilty but supremely hungry. We were immediately greeted with a smile nonetheless. Already off to a great start. We apologized profusely for our timing, and the cashier wouldn't have it, he insisted he'd be more than happy to take our order. We were getting our meal to go because we didn't want to take up space. We waited at a table to be called & another man came out and set a tea set at our table. We hurriedly let him know we weren't staying and asked that he not inconvenience himself. He instead made a joke "ah, I know it's because you like mint with your tea don't you! I know!" And with a smile he comes back with a sprig of mint to put into our tea cups. I've never felt such hospitality at such a restaurant before. At that point it didn't even matter if the food was mud or blue ribbon worthy, they completely won in customer service. My brother ordered their beef koobideh, & judging by the fact that he finished eating it in the car before we reached home, I'm assuming he loved it. Definitely going back again! I am waiting for food. It's been 25 minute already. This is second time I am coming here.Only one person working in the kitchen I think that's the reason why they are slow.Okay I got the food. It was delicious now I changed to 4 star. Not five star cuz I waited 25 minute

ZERO STARSI waited over 25 minutes for just 2 hotdogs cut in half on a french roll. I don't even understand. There were only 2 other people there. It was WAY WAY to expensive for the crap food I got. I am never going back to this dump.

My husband and I went to the grill today for the first time. We thought the food tasted amazing and was a great value for the money. We had over the top great service and super friendly.

Quality of the food is terrible plus the customer service sucks. Typically I would avoid the grocery style restaurants. This was recommended by a friend and I had to try it out. Sadly I was disappointed. I have had better Persian Food. Save your money or find a better place to try Persian food. Seating area is small and tight and dirty. The seating area is shared by other restaurants and no one is cleaning that area.
