Hands down the best place to get a beer in San Juan Capistrano. We've been coming here since it opened 10 years ago. Always fresh rotating taps. Great service by knowledgeable bartenders. Can't go wrong if you love beer.

After an early Saturday afternoon outside getting a natural dose of Vitamin D, my partner in crime & I sought some liquid refreshment. Always interested in trying new spots, we stopped by the BrewHouse Tap Room & Bottle Shop.Tucked away in the back of a strip mall, immediate parking was abundant. Grabbing a couple seats at the bar, the vibe was chill. Service was friendly & just the right amount of attentive without being too much so.The tap list was very good. Not the most extensive or exhaustive I've ever seen. But even given the vast catalog of beers I've tried at some point, there still were options here I'd never had before.The single aspect of the BrewHouse Tap Room & Bottle Shop that fell short of what I was hoping for was the amount of cans/ bottles available for purchase. I thought the coolers would be bigger with more beers to choose from.Still, a nice spot to discover while out & about. & while I would've liked more "Bottle Shop" to go with the BrewHouse Tap Room, I did find a couple cans not otherwise widely available to take home. For sure worth stopping by again.

This is a popular place where a lot of people like to visit. The venue isn't too big but it's friendly and low key. They have an impressive wall of taps too. The prices are reasonable and a fun place to visit.

Was looking for a brewery to walk off the food we just ate. Found this place tucked behind a shopping center. Immediately when walking in you are greeted with some pinball machines. Yes I did play a few games, it was so nostalgic.The employees and regulars are really nice and they have a great selection of beers. Great spot to hang out and grab a couple beers.Will definitely visit again if we are in the area!

Came here because we saw they served root beer, sadly they don't have any but they had other delicious things on tap. I got a very flavorful cider while my friend got a dark stout that tasted like a caramel coffee. This goes out to the bar tender that was there who gave us food recommendations! Thank you the heritage bbq place was magnificent!!!

Nice brewhouse with a good selection of beers to meet your tastes. I have always found something new to try that I have liked. The bartender is also helpful with good suggestions depending on your palate. The place has a relaxed vibe too with some TVs to watch sports or even play some pinball. Food needs some work. They have a small kitchen but I think they could come up with some better items. The pizza is average. The dips are likely Costco just heated up (which is fine as a snack). Some breweries have really stepped up their food. Will be back for the beer.

Just a great out-of-the-way tap-house. Significant list of beers/ales that one can track on Digital Pour, as well as some in-house curated pickle sourcing. Local vibe and feel. Great place to revisit.

The owners are extremely friendly and provide a fun place to hang out and enjoy a tasty pint! They have 30 different beers and cider on tap at any point in time. Inside you will find a few different tables for private seating or take a seat at the bar for some company. Anyone that comes here can enjoy the music constantly playing or even play a couple rounds on the pinball machines. Long story short, this place is a ball of fun and you can be guaranteed to have a great time.
