"Onigiri Bliss - Tenori Has Me Rice-ing to the Occasion!"If you're on a quest for the holy grail of onigiri, look no further than Tenori at Rodeo 39. These little rice bundles of joy are so good, I briefly considered writing them into my will.I went for the Honey Walnut Prawn, and let me tell you--crispy, not soggy, and just the right balance of sweet and savory. It's basically what shrimp tempura dreams of becoming when it grows up. Then there was the Spicy Salmon--delicious, but about as spicy as a rom-com on a Sunday afternoon. No worries though, because I came prepared: enter the black sauce and spicy mayo, a dynamic duo that should honestly have their own fan club. Pro tip: BUY THEM. Your taste buds will thank you.Ordering is a breeze with the kiosk system, and there's always a friendly staff member in case you get so excited about rice that you forget how technology works. And to keep things balanced, I paired my meal with their Organic Coconut Water--because hydration is key when you're about to inhale three onigiri like it's your last meal.Speaking of three, get the 3 for $11 deal--trust me, one is never enough, and two is just teasing yourself. Overall, Tenori is a 10/10 rice experience. Would I return? Absolutely. Would I consider getting a tattoo of their onigiri? Give me a few more visits.

this is my favorite onigiri. I love the seaweed, texture of the rice, the filling and the furikake topping. I don't really care for any of the other fillings besides the pork belly.

This location is inside of Rodeo 39. There is a decent amount of parking but it can get crowded. While there are not tables directly next to the stand, there are tables around the outside of the building, near where you order and pick up the food. You order from one of two screens/kiosks. They have a decent amount of options and all of them sounded delicious. I ordered the spicy salmon, pork belly, and kbbq onigiris. They were ready very quickly. The filling to rice ratio is very generous and they were all very flavorful. The seaweed on the outside was very crisp and they tasted very fresh. It's a decent sized portion when you order 3, but not the most filling.

Spicy salmon:Pretty good! Slightly spiced but not hot. Lots of salmon filing. Probably my favorite.Honey walnut prawn:This was super good too. Tastes like a good honey walnut shrimp and the breading wasn't soggy. It's a contender for favorite.Pork belly:Least favorite. The pork is pretty dry and the flavor is alright and a little on the smoky side.Lychee lemonade:Pretty good! Light and refreshing. Stronger lychee flavor at first with that sour lemonade punch at the end. Very interesting.

I find myself ending up at Tenori almost every time I'm in town! I'm honestly not sure why but of all the onigiri spots I've been to, Tenori always takes first. I usually go for the 3 pack and mix it up each time depending on how I'm feeling. The KBBQ is probably my favorite. I've also tried Pork Belly, Mentaiko (spicy!), Honey Walnut Shrimp, all of which are amazing as well. You can place your order yourself from a kiosk and the food is served usually pretty quickly after that. Tenori is located inside Rodeo 39, a food hall with over a dozen other food options and plenty of seating. Parking can get tough when busy, but otherwise great location and vibe!

I like them all, although it's a bit 'hit or miss' with the flavors of the fillings. My go to Tenori spot, every so often, My favorite is the 3 for $11 deal, albeit I usually can only finish 2/3, super filling! Food: 4/5Service: hit or miss, I've only seen girls working here... hmm, and they're mostly quiet. The most I've heard the girls say are "If you have my questions, let me know" or "Your order will be right out." Not much customer interaction, anyway, 3/5Ambiance: 4/5 there's not much to it; the dining area shares space with the rest of Rodeo 39. Grab a seat anywhere you like.

The online ordering process was super easy. I got the 3 piece combo for $11, which is pretty decent. The onigiris were a good size. After I placed my order, I called them to see if I can have my seaweed on the side and not wrapped since I won't be eating it immediately. They were able to accommodate my request and the seaweed was packaged in a nice long paper bag when I went to pick it up! Spicy Salmon was my favorite, followed by tuna mayo which is always a classic. The honey walnut shrimp was good too but I expected more fillings. Mine only came with one piece of shrimp in the middle.Nice quick meal to satisfy my onigiri craving!

I recently treated myself to two varieties of onigiri--KBBQ Beef and Tuna w/ Mayo--and I am absolutely thrilled to share my experience! Both options were delicious and left a lasting impression. The location was cute and small adding to the overall all food court of the hanger. Starting with the KBBQ Beef onigiri, I was greeted with a generous portion of tender beef, perfectly cooked onions, and a hint of bonito furikake, all nestled within a soft and warm rice exterior. While I noticed that the house special garlic soy sauce was missing, which made the beef slightly drier than expected, the overall flavor was still incredibly satisfying. The umami from the beef paired well with the sweetness of the seaweed wrapping, which added a delightful crunch that made each bite even more enjoyable. Seriously, the combination of textures--crispy seaweed and fluffy rice--crafted a wonderful eating experience.Next up was the Tuna w/ Mayo onigiri, and it was just as delightful! The canned tuna was mixed with rich Kewpie mayo that brought a creamy and slightly tangy twist, harmonizing beautifully with the bonito furikake sprinkled on top. Each bite was rich and flavorful, and the nori wrapping provided that same satisfying crunch that I loved in the KBBQ beef option. What really surprised me was how quickly my friend and I polished off these onigiri--within just a few bites, they were gone! They were thick and substantial without being too dense or stiff, making them perfect as appetizers or even a light meal. Now, let's talk about the service: it was quick, fast, and genuinely friendly. The lovely young lady who took our order was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, making the selection process a breeze. I appreciated her recommendations and insights, which added to the overall positive experience. It's also worth noting that this location does not serve drinks, so if you're planning a visit, make sure to bring your own refreshment to complement the delicious onigiri. In conclusion, both the KBBQ Beef and Tuna w/ Mayo onigiri exceeded my expectations. They were bursting with flavor and had a perfect mix of textures that made every bite enjoyable. I can't recommend this place enough; it's a gem for anyone craving authentic and delicious onigiri. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to explore more flavors!

My go-to when I crave onigiri. Hits the spot every time. I'm able to eat 3 and be full. Their flavors include pork belly, spicy tuna, tuna with mayo, mentai, spicy salmon, kbbq, honey walnut shrimp, and spam. You save $1 when you order 3.
