I honestly don't understand why this place is usually empty when I come by. The food is very good, and while the ambiance isn't anything special, it's perfectly fine. These aren't the best birria tacos you'll ever have, but that's not why you come here. You come because you're craving birria tacos, it's close to home, and unlike the other nearby spots serving bootleg versions, the quality here is solid.This place is good, and I'm glad I live nearby and can count on it to deliver the consistency I expect. Some people have mentioned that it can be a bit pricey, and I won't lie, sometimes it is. But at the end of the day, if you live nearby and want birria tacos, you should definitely stop by. They're good.

I used to go to teddys taco truck when it was by the railroad tracks && it was amazing as it really reminded me of the birria I would have when I would visit a certain place in tj. So I fell in love with it since it was closer & no longer needed to make the drive down to tj for birria! I do recall the sauce being a tad bit spicer && at this location it was a tad bit water down?! Idk if we went on an off day but would definitely be going back! Services was phenomenal & the lay out of this location is very esthetic! Clean & not noisy at all perfect for big parties as well! All in all we do recommend y'all try it!

Okay so this is whyyy I left a 3 star review, don't get me wrong the food is 5 starI ordered 2 deluxe plates for $33, soo kinda pricey but you get a variety with the plate. Unfortunately everything is way smaller than what you'd expect and for that price Im not sure I'd get it again. Their consume was sooo very tasty!! 10/10 The quesadilla was good, very spicy The two tacos were yummy as well good asadaThe mulita I took apart just to feel like I had more food haha they added a salsa on just about everything on the plate so if you don't like spicy, I'd recommend asking for it without cause it definitely suprised me Fast and efficient service, nice little restaurant inside and outside seating

Not enough meat on the large quesadillas plate, horrible beans they were very hard. Tacos were good. Apparently they only have one sauce ? Which is weird because my brother was here a week ago & they had 2 different sauces & jalapeños. Service was not good at all, older man rolled his eyes when I asked if they had a different kind of sauce, seems like he didn't want to be bothered to do his job. Ambiance was good.

Teddy's Red Tacos hits every time!! Delicious food and the service was great. The cashier, Ana, was very helpful and was patient while me and my boyfriend figured out what we wanted. I hope they open more locations in south Orange County and I really hope this location doesn't shut down! I live in San Juan Capistrano otherwise I would visit more.
