Tango is a small bar located in Laguna Beach that serves tapas in a really intimate setting. There is a small bar area, some tables, and a second floor with more seating. They have happy hour until 7pm which includes but isn't limited to $4 off tapas and $5 off specialty cocktails. For food, we ordered the pan con tomate ($8) which was refreshing and the tomato sauce was spicy and garlicky. We also got the brisket empanadas ($22) which were cheesy and meaty with a good guacamole and dipping sauce. For drinks, we got the infused coffee negroni ($18) which had spice notes from the star anise and the burned cinnamon. The handsome devil spicy margarita ($16) was balanced and had a good amount of spice. The running gun ($16) was earthy, dry, and slightly bitter from the cynar and aperol. This is a pretty cool little spot for drinks before or after dinner. Also, shout out to Nahum who was an amazing bartender and host!

Aesthetically appealing, however, I didn't feel a hospitable vibe from the employees. The service and the food could have been a lot better. The food was insipid and nothing really stood out. We tried their patatas bravas, the beef brisket, one of the chicken dishes and the bruschetta spread. Per the server their brunch menu consisted of 3 dishes? Torta española, a pancake dish, and can't remember the other one. The service was careless. We had to make several requests (extra silverware to serve, water refills, extra menu, dirty plates removed, clean plates to share tapas, etc) things you normally would get at a full service restaurant. Our server didn't check on us, almost until we finished eating. Our experience here was not remotely close to what we were expecting.

This is the cutest little spot in Laguna beach. It's two stories and the top story is very secluded and quiet. Downstairs, there's the bar and the entrance so people come and go and talk and it's lively and there's music. I prefer downstairs seating. I had the best scallops of my life here. The curry squash soup is amazing, as well as the potatoes. They're flavored and seasoned well and topped with a sauce. The Mojito cocktail is really good. It's tangy and not too sweet.

The service is stellar! Very good. The hostesses are super sweet and sat us fast. The waitresses were super sweet and attentive. The tapas are very tasteful! Small because that's what tapas are. The main courses are large! Depending what you get you may or may not be able to share. I think the Italian Capp. One can easily share. All the food is very fresh. It's good and lots of good fresh ingredients are tossed up in your dish. The location is a squeeze. 1-3 people tops in your party is all you can roll in with. Upstairs are steep but beautifully decorated. From floor to ceiling. Wall to wall. It is gorgeous!I loved that this place is off the beaten path of PCH. But still have that laguna beach pride to it.

Amazing food! I loved the pan con tomate and ordered another plate of it! All of the dishes here are delicious and I would highly recommend anything off of the menu. I also really enjoyed the salmon. Smaller seating area on the first floor but still comfortable! Cute bar area as well. Waitress was friendly and attentive.

Tango is a cozy, European style gem I've visited twice. Niko was friendly and spot-on with wine and food recommendations. The Angus beef brisket was melt in your mouth perfection, definitely recommend! Everything was amazing, though the lobster Caesar salad could use less dressing to avoid soaking the lettuce, especially for the price. One note: they leave the door open, and it gets quite chilly. Otherwise, a fantastic experience!

If you're in downtown Laguna Beach, Tango is the place to be! The vibes are maximalist, boutique and killer. Their cocktails, like the Sunset on Forest, are as tasty as they are Instagram-worthy. The food? Absolutely drool-worthy. You have to try the EVERYTHING ON THE MENU - game changers. And the staff? Super friendly and on point. Perfect spot for a fun night out or a lazy afternoon. Don't miss it!---

I have stoped by Tango a few times for cocktails and recently had the pleasure of dinning here. We tried the new fall menu, and the Squash curry soup WAS DELICIOUS. The perfect fall soup and the BEST soup I have had in a long time. It was especially coolTo have it paired with a cool Sav Blanc per waiter recommendation. Not my usually wine choice but it was incredible. The variety of tapas and main courses was amazing and they have a VERY reasonably happy hour and locals pricing which I did not know about untl now. I highly recommend Tango, from the Staff, ambiance and menu, it' is a beautiful European 5 star experience!

Thoroughly uninspiring experience! The atmosphere was loud and eclectic. Service: The staff was not well trained and the level of service was very mediocre. The hostess booth was unmanned when we arrived and we had to wait for a couple minutes before we were greeted by an unprofessional hostess. We noticed that the booth remained unmanned most of our visit and the hostess spent most of her time hanging out with the staff behind the bar.The Food: This was the worst part of our experience. The prices were very ($24 for some of the tapas). The dishes were very mediocre. The wings were soggy and had very little flavor. The lamb also had little flavor. Both of these items were clearly cooked earlier and reheated before plating. The shrimp in butter sauce was also underwhelming. Seems as though everything was reheated and thrown on a plate. No interesting flavors or creativity at all. Drinks: Below average. Tasted watered down and bland. Flavors not well developed. Bottom line: worst restaurant experience my wife and I have had in recent memory.
