Tangerine Room

Third time at Tangerine Room. My family has made it a habit to go here for their holiday buffets each year.This year we were a little bit disappointed we couldn't get indoor seating since we put it down as my party's preference on the reservation app. The hostess told me seating arrangements were already predetermined so perhaps my request was submitted too late since we booked reservations just about a week ahead.My seasonal allergies were at full force and the outdoors weren't my friend that day. Our server Su though was very quick at defusing the whole situation and made us feel comfortable despite being on the patio. It's pretty well covered and enclosed and luckily it was neither too hot nor too cold outside. I still prefer inside of course, the seating outside uses wicker chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but it was manageable.Su was very attentive and down to earth. She kept our glasses full and cleared our plates promptly. The food along the buffet line was kept at the appropriate temp, and rarely would we ever have to wait for food to be restocked.I was most pleased with the hors d'oeuvres, the table bread and butter, the roasted beef strip loin, the ravioli, and the desserts. I did miss the bananas foster dessert they had on Thanksgiving but the chocolate yule log cake and macarons made up for it not being there. Also a bit disappointed there wasn't a simple cheesecake. I took what looked like a pecan cheesecake but was a bit let down when what I bit into was very smokey and meaty and was actually what I think was mincemeat pie and not the cheesecake I had hoped for.The live music was very nice to listen to and the food attendants were also very polite and kept the serving tables looking clean and presentable.See you all again next year for Thanksgiving!

While on a business trip to Orange County this past week, a group of us had an excellent dinner at the Tangerine Room. This is a restaurant inside the Westin Hotel in Anaheim. This is a first class place with a great menu. After sharing some appetizers, I ordered the Wagyu steak from the specials menu. Cooked medium rare, this dish was fantastic! Garlic mashed potatoes as a side dish went very well with the beef. This is a popular hotel with Disneyland basically across the street. If you're looking for a great meal after being at the park all day, give this place a try!

Came here for my friend's bday. My friend saw this place through an IG reel but it was not poppin' at all lol. I think we were like the 2nd table and this was on a Friday night.This place is inside Westin hotel and if I remember correctly, Tangerine Room does validate your parking ticket. But just make sure you ask when you get there to confirm.The food was average and it was just super overpriced for the little portion we got for the entree. Was pretty disappointed in the entrees because the entree only came with a meat. No carbs (like potatoes, etc) or small side dish which made us order more food and they were pretty expensive for the portion size.Wouldn't come back here again.

Our reservation through Amex Fine Hotels & Resorts included breakfast buffet for two at Tangerine Room. Open Table seemed to be down so I wasn't able to make a reservation, but luckily we were seated quickly. The waitress was very nice and personable and let us know how the buffet worked. It included a beverage such as coffee or orange juice. I usually don't really like breakfast buffets at hotels, but the food was surprisingly good. They had a good selection of the breakfast basics and some more. The restaurant has a nice ambiance which the staff help to create as well. I would definitely come back to Tangerine Room.

Pleasantly surprised! You never know what you'll get at a hotel restaurant and due to not having a car and checking out we decided to give it a chance. Everything was flavorful and delicious! Service was top notch as well.

Always always a must stop! Whenever we go to the Disney Parks this is the go to breakfast spot. Excellent food fantastic service They recently changed their menu and I will say. Tasty as ever

As much as they promote this restaurant, the service and food doesn't follow my standard and expectation. First, I called and left a voice message to the representative of this restaurant regarding of the Father's Day brunch/buffet. Before I was being transferred to this person, I have been told that there was going to be a Father's Day brunch/buffet so I made the reservation. It was kind of skeptical since the Mother's Day brunch/buffet menu was still on their website even the day of Father's Day but I didn't think much. For a week, the representative didn't return my call. Since it's a restaurant in The Westin Anaheim Resort, I decided to just stick with this restaurant even though it was going to cost me $95 per person. When I arrived at the restaurant and waited to be seated, I noticed the menu at the front desk wasn't a Father's Day brunch/buffet. I asked the front desk lady and she told me that they were not having the Father's Day brunch/buffet. I was a little bit upset because I had a large group of people coming to celebrate and there weren't anything special about the brunch. If the representative would have called me back to give me the information, it would be nice so I can go somewhere else but here I am. Another thing was that there was a Tangerine Room - Farm to Table Breakfast Buffet ($33) on the menu at the front desk so I thought they at least have that so I didn't cancel the reservation on the spot and kept going with it, which was a huge mistake. They didn't even have that. If I was going to have dishes that I could get from anywhere else, I wouldn't have ask my group and myself to drive all the way here.The server and her helper were nice but wasn't around us that we had to wait until one of them are around and ask for filling the water, getting us some condiments, etc. There were only two tables with customers and it was a late afternoon so I'm still trying to understand why it was so hard for them to serve people. Everybody starting from the front desk to the servers, they all act like they just didn't want to be there, which made all of us don't want to be there. Yes, the restaurant itself was very elegant and chic and the presentations of the food were great but not enough to compensate the experience that we all had. It was full of disappointment and I would not recommend to my friends and families.If you must try, their Mi Chilaquiles is the best, then the burger and breakfast burrito. Poke bowl was salty and there was nothing special about the rest of the dishes. The parking is two hours free if you get validated.

Mediocre at best. Restaurant in the Westin. No wifi. Foood was ok. Crabcake was mostly breading. Short rib was good but polenta cake was boring. Service was slow. Server could answer questions about food or wifi. Atmosphere not special . Wouldn't waste my time eating here unless I was stuck

Stopped here with some friends after a business convention and it looked like an amazing place to sit down and have a more formal meal. It took a little while to get seated but they were fairly quick to get us seated after they said it was going to be like a 45 minute wait. This is a place you probably more dress up a little bit so button up shirt or something other than just walking around in sandals and a t-shirt but it's what we were in the mood for for sure after a long convention. Really nice menu with more top of the line menu choices than a lot of the places around the area. It's an interesting things with various meat selections and there are a lot of healthy meal choices mixed in with just about anything you could get. They have an extensive wine menu as well as some amazing desserts some of which are cooked right in house. Server was really nice and answered all of our questions and came back to our table multiple times to check on us and make sure we had enough drinks or check on how everything was tasting.especially appreciate this if someone who doesn't really drink alcohol so when I'm having coffee or water it's nice to have someone keep checking. My meal was amazing and I didn't get a chance to sample the meals of the people I was with but they all commented on how their pastas or meats or potato selections were all very very good.

I took my dad here last year, when we went to the OC Auto show.. It's bitter sweet because this weekend is the OC Auto Show again but my dad is not here anymore. He recently passed. That said, my dad loved the brunch we had here last year when I took him. It is inside the Westin so though we live super close by, I don't come here often. But, if I do have events to attend to at the convention center, I would make sure to stop by this place and the cafe outside. Staff were friendly and the place is very elegantly decorated. Food was good and simple. My dad loved the food and the ambiance. I hope you can eat even more good food in heaven now!
