Sweet Surrender - Specialty Desserts and Pastries

We booked with Sweet Surrender owner Julie for our wedding, after meeting with her to taste a few of her selections. We went with three tiered semi naked lemon cake with lemon buttercream and raspberry glaze. It was delicious, It was my highlight to the wedding reception! It was decorated beautifully and came out just as we talked about with the inspiration pictures I had sent. Thank you Julie!

I ordered two cakes for my Mom's 98th Birthday. I was looking for something unique, as my Mom also was a fabulous cake baker and decorator. I discovered Sweet Surrender and made contact. I live in Arizona and was completing this order remotely so somewhat crossing my fingers. However, the constant communication to get things right was comforting, the pricing was very reasonable, but the bonus was the quality and simplistic unique elegance of the designs. But the biggest bonus was the taste of her cakes and icing. I ordered the Red Velvet and the Hummingbird cake. DO NOT HESITATE WITH ORDERING THE HUMMINGBIRD! AMAZING AND UNIQUE! Do not hesitate to use this company. You will be unquestionably very very pleased with the results

If you're looking for delicious treats made by an owner that really cares about their customers I highly recommend giving this place a try. I've ordered several times and have been amazed every time!

I used "Sweet Surrender" for the first time and was amazed at the end result. I ordered the 6 inch Raspberry Royale which consisted of White Chocolate cake, filled with tart raspberry filling, finished with whipped white Chocolate Ganache, fresh berries and shaved white chocolate. It is a four layer cake, top quality, with a generous amount of filling between each of the layers. Six adults ate half the cake...so it can easily feed ten to twelve nicely. A real treat. Julie Thomas, the owner, was wonderful to deliver the cake to my home and working with her via email was so easy. Support this wonderful gal...and her unbelievable desserts...she is a great "baker"...Great job, Julie. My family thanks you!!

Julie has an incredible repertoire for baking. Everything is delish!!! Julie's cheesecakes are truly one of a kind. I recommend the chocolate strawberry one. It's is to die for! You can't go wrong with anything.
