Ordered take out from here for the first time and sad I've not discovered Sushi Yaki sooner. We will definitely be back as regulars!!!!

Service- not too great. Staff is not friendly. The wait is extremely slow. I ordered a combo box to go. I work approx 2-3 min from this place.Food- I ordered the combo box. Which consisted of salad, 4 piece of CA roll, mixed tempura and chicken teriyaki.Both the roll and the salad were warm. Which they shouldn't be. The chicken teriyaki has this awful smell that you could taste.The rice in the chicken teriyaki was extremely watery. I ended up spitting it out and throwing it all away. I was only the only good thing was the mixed tempura.

I ordered for delivery several times from here, and I have been happy each time. Their beef bento is a sukiyaki type beef, the California rolls are made with real crab meat, so many places use imitation! It also came with tempera, salad and rice, it's really a good portion! I also like their crunch roll. The only issue is their beef soba. There are hardly any beef in it. By reading other reviews, I guess it is not an inadvertent mishap.

I ordered this yesterday for lunch and ate it throughout the whole day. Even after I put the baked salmon in the fridge to eat for dinner . Luckily the salmon protected the rice from getting hard. It was perfect! I love sushi. five stars

Literally my go to affordable place! I think there are a bit cheaper places but for sushi it is good. Do not recommend the chicken bowls though no bueno but sushi rocks here!

I came around 7pm which is near their closing time but the owner was nice enough to still let me order. I got the spicy poke bowl which was delicious with a decent portion of fish and avocado at no extra cost. This place is so underrated. Not sure if it's because of the location or competition with other places, but I really hope they get more business they deserve. Very cute mom & pop store. Would recommend ordering here to support small local businesses!

We ordered ahead for our team lunch at work and the food was prepared and ready on time. We arrived. A little earlier than expected so they were finishing up but we didn't have to wait long. They have super cute decor around the restaurant, not sure if the owners enjoy crochet but a lot of cute things around the restaurant. Anyways, we ordered bento boxes for each team member and the food was both plentiful and delicious. First time eating here but I have a feeling that I will definitely be back for more.

This is a great small local spot! We ordered carryout from here for our hotel room during our vacation. The yaki soba noodles were so good and the spicy tuna rolls were delicious! The tempura wasn't great but I feel like it's hard to make good carryout tempura.

I like how fresh the sushi is because it is made to order. I found the staff to be quite sweet and kind, but initially slightly stand offish. Never ordered any of the bento boxes but have ordered the special with 3 different types of sushi with miso soup which was good. I also have ordered their tempura. I think it is owned and run by an older couple who don't seem to speak a lot of English and tend to speak to each other in their native language and bickering at times - Japanese, I think.
