Subway

I visited this location right after a show at the Segerstrom. I hadn't been to a subway in years, but this was the only place open after 10pm. The inside of the restaurant was clean. The whole process was quick. I ordered the Veggie Patty. The girl who helped me, Yesenia or Yasmin, was really nice and helped me figure out what I wanted. The sandwich was delicious and came loaded with veggies.I love that they are open late. Parking is ample lot parking. Would definitely come back if I was in the area again.

I've been to subway millions of times as it's my husbands favorite place. This was my first time at this location, we ordered a spicy Italian (now known as a hot shot Italiano) I was telling the lady what toppings I wanted and she stopped me and said it was only 4 veggie toppings allowed. Since when has subway been 4 veggie topping only ?!! I was so in aw about this. I was reading every small word on the menu to see if it had a limit on veggies, when I got in the car I even went on the website to do an online order to see if it was 4 veggies maximum. NOPE, online allows 10 veggie toppings. Horrible customer service at this location. If you hate your job please don't take it out on the customers..

Rude customer service-Maria, I am talking about you and your horrible attitude. I came here to get a sandwich and was told I could not add any vegetables that were not listed in that specific sandwich. I have never been told that at any subway before. She also didn't want to add any add ons- I had to keep on reiterating that I was willing to pay extra. Also, the bread was extremely STALE. Save yourself this unpleasant experience, the sandwich is not worth it. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. It seems to me that management may be coercing employees to nickel and dime everything. If that is the case, you're losing money because people won't come back. I am definitely never going back. I hope this review helps save someone an unpleasant experience.

I just had the worst experience at this location! I waited forever for someone to even acknowledge me, and it only got worse after! The lady working was so rude, and by the time I asked for extra cucumber...she rudely said no! She said that they were not allowed to anymore. This is so wild because I've been to so many subways(and this location), and have asked for extra cucumber with no problem. I don't know if the owner of this franchise is pushing the employees in this direction but it's not a good one. I would have ordered my usual: a cup of soup, chips, and a drink with my foot long, but was so pissed I just took my sandwich to go......When I finally got home, I took a bite of my subway club, and the bread was stale. Such a horrible experience all around le sigh...

This is a joke. My boyfriend went to get me a salad from this Subway so I can have something for dinner when I got back from work. He claims to have asked for more spinach and the person helping him said that their store policy doesn't permit more than they gave. He offered to pay for extra and they stated they could not. But they would put iceberg lettuce to fill in the gap. Look, I get it. We are in a pandemic and times are hard but it's SPINACH!!!!! It cost so little. Either the girl doesn't care or the store owner has a ludicrous store policy. It's a salad, people. I've gotten this same exact Salad at the Subway off baker, MacArthur and south coast drive and none have done me as dirty as this location.*Update* the store owner has reached out to me and rectified the problem. Within record breaking time I might add. For this attention to my concern I have decided to change my original review. The lack of spinach is not a store policy. Thank you Sonny!

This place has bad customer service and rude ladies working there. This review is after my second visit, the first visit the lady put the vegetables that she wanted, in addition, she was slamming the topics. The second time she told me I'm not allow to go outside of what's on the menu when it comes to vegetables. This place prefers to be stingy with their vegetables rather than focus on happy customers.

Lady who is there very often. Maybe is in mid 30 or 40s, a little thick, has the worst attitude & is bitter. She is unhappy and the customers feel it. It's my 3rd time going there and I've had a bad experience with the same lady every time. I am not a Karen, but this lady would make me consider it. I am very disappointed that our local subway nearby south coast plaza by Costa Mesa subway has such bad reputation. This is the only subway I will not recommend going to. She knows who she is and knows what's she's doing. Idk where the managers are at to allow this. No accountability. Unless manager taught her to treat customers like this, it's just sad.

This subway does not let you add any other toppings on your sandwich other than what's on the menu for the sandwich??? Literally all other Subways have never done this. Is this normal? The whole point of subway is that you can put whatever you want and customize your sandwich however you want. Such a trip, never coming back here again

Clean place, quiet not that busy. Food was awesome! Crystal was our cashier super great and friendly lady coming here again for sure great service great food .

Customer service could definitely improve in this location. Been here 2 times and both times same lady was kind of rude. Also, I keep hoping the boba is better each time but no. The boba is not good at all. Hoping this place could improve these things. Not coming here anymore.
