Subway

Man oh man, it has been years since we have stepped foot in a Subway but it appears to be much better now (or at least this location was). The food felt fresh again, and the meat didn't taste funny like it did a couple years back when they changed things. There was only one person there serving, but she did a great job with our order and we were all completely satisfied. It was clean in the main area and the food was kept well. We didn't feel rushed, even though it was close to closing time. When reviewing the menu, they definitely expanded quite a bit from a couple years ago, and it looks like some good options are available. I stuck with my go to, Turkey and she made it perfectly! I can say, Subway is back in rotation for a sub option because of this one experience.

Terrible flatbread roast beef sandwich to go- I found the sandwich wrapped so poorly it was smeared all over the wrapper. I'm sorry to have ordered a churro, it was so chewy it almost broke my tooth. I will not be back yo this location again!

Ordered two Friday specials. Arturo did an amazing job of serving us quickly and hospitably.

We ordered 1 food and 0 beverage items from Subway Store #18967 on 2022-08-23.Observations / Recommendations:+ The food was excellent.+ The order was accurate.- Please consider asking customers if they want bags, napkins, and other extras rather than automatically including them.~ It's nice that you have a recycling bin for recyclables however it's not clear which products are to be recycled. Is the plastic bag recyclable? Please consider adding a sign for customers to see specifically which of the waste products your store produces are to be separated for recycling. In addition to the food itself we automatically received the following:* 1 Sticker.* 1 plastic bag.* 1 paper sandwich wrapper.* 1 paper receipt.* 2 paper napkins.

Like Avis Rent a car, this Subway store tries harder. Subway has lots of competition in this area and in order to compete they need to work hard. Offering seven different types of bread, a variety of cheeses and meats, and good prices pays off.This store had 7 people in line and 2 people eating in the small space at 1 pm. A good sign. I ordered a foot long sandwich with multigrain bread, tuna spread and vegetables. With two bags of chips this came to $15.02.The store is very clean and the food preparers were efficient and quick.It's hard to say if this store is superior to Jersey Mike's but it certainly beats Firehouse subs.

Can I give ZERO stars? (I remember this particular employee from before and I was thinking, "Wow...she is beyond bad. Her employer must not care to replace her." I thought that she might've left, by now, so decided to take a chance and come back.) I walked in, about ten minutes after opening time. I believe that I was the only customer who had come in since they opened.When I walked in, it was if no sound, no person nothing around her had transpired. She was simply prepping an olive jar...didn't look up, not the slightest, not a word (how about a simple, "Hello." or "I'll be right with you.")...I mean NOTHING. I stood in front of her for about a full clocked 20 to 30 seconds to give her a chance. Never looked up -- NOTHING. This employee, as I have previously witnessed, goes out of her way to disrespect customers. HORRIBLE.I decided to give myself an out. I made up an excuse just to leave the store for a minute and that I'd be right back. She lifted her head and gave an unfriendly, indifferent "Okay."Where did I really go? ACROSS THE STREET to Jersey Mike's to get lunches for me and my family. The owner evidently cannot find another employee to work at the Laguna Woods (El Toro Rd/Calle Sonora) location. Lots of lost business -- my husband and I are just across the street and being from "back east", the whole family are big sub fans. There are many other Subway's in the locality.

Expensive and not worth the price. Over priced sandwiches with sub par ingredients. They also 9ver charge.

This is why I don't go to Subway anymore. Overpriced and terrible experience. I placed an online order and got home to find out they accidentally used the wrong bread on my daughter's sandwich and my own. Honest mistake I guess but she won't eat anything but plain Italian Bread and Bacon.. when I went in the 2 ladies acted like I was an inconvenience after driving to and from TWICE! No apology just attitude. Also, they started helping the person who walked in after me while they checked to make sure it was their mistake. $29 for 2 sandwiches that were made incorrectly and plain white bread and some $1 bacon.. absolutely no customer service Whoever owns this store should really look at who they are training.. 2 ladies were so rude when they were in the wrong and I just spent almost an hour trying to get lunch for my daughter.

In my opinion, the Subway in my neighborhood anyway, skimps on the meat. So I spend my money elsewhere.

The one and only table outside continues to be dirty as is the floor under it. Grease and crumbs. I took my Sub down to a table at Reborn Coffee where they have multiple outdoor tables which they always manage to keep clean.The aforementioned dirty table was still dirty an hour later when I returned to check on it. There were 2 customers the first time and 2 customers the 2nd time. The sandwich "artist" was not to busy to clean the table.At least the food--which I had to eat at the neighbor's table--was good.Despite the above probs, I tried to tip the Artist, but their swipe machine no longer allows u to add a tip so the Artist gets screwed (because no one carries around cash anymore).
