hands down the best tiki bar and bar that ive ever been to! my best friend, boyfriend, and i came here on a Saturday night. we put outselves on the Yelp waitlist while we ate dinner so we got there right when our table was ready. I really liked that they had this as an option so you don't have to come here to put your name down and stand around waiting for 1+ hour! but i will say the long waits are justified because this place is great! the service is great, thedrinks are amzing, and the prices are sooo reasonable/cheaper than other bars!!we were seating at the table between the bar and pool tables. this place is actually pretty spacious -- there are plenty of tables for bigger groups, counter seating at the bar, and the long table we sat at. even though there were other people at our table, there was enough space that we felt like we were at our own table.our waiter, i don't remember his name, was THE BEST. he was very attentive, gave great advice when asking what drinks he recommended, and just provided the best service. always so kind, so welcoming, and so fun to talk to. between the three of us, we got the tropical itch, the cococano, and the blue hawaiian. all drinks were PHENOMENAL and we even got a cool show out of the cococano, which they lit on fire right in front of us. the blue hawaiian was a sweeter alcoholic drink, the cocoano was a more pineapple-y one (my personal favorite), and the tropical itch was STRONGG (would recommend if you LOVE LOVE LOVE bourbon lol). they definitely do not skimp on the alcohol, which is fantastic. and at $13-15 for our drinks, you can't beat that!

Love Tiki bars, and this one showed up for me on my quick jaunt to SA. It was a Sat. night, and it was kinda busy, but not really. Apparently, you need a reservation to get into this place, and they discourage customers lingering, loitering or just standing near the bar. For my part, I didn't really mind and I played by their rules, and got a common table right by the bar almost immediately. The host and the service staff were great. So, I ordered a drink, the "Hotter Than The Dickens", and it was pretty good. However, the place just seems to be either too laid back or dead for me. There wasn't the usual chatter or busy energy that you get from a bar that at this point was "full." Again, not sure if that was the vibe that they were going for, but for me, it missed the mark for a Tiki bar.

Absolutely loved our experience here! When you join the waitlist, you can't do more than a party of six. The host in the front was more than willing to accommodate our group of 7 when we came in, which was really nice! The outside looks extremely plain. Don't let that fool you because once you're inside, you're instantly teleported to a tiki bar that feels straight out of a vacation. The interior's theme was on point, lighting was dimmed and cozy, and we loved that there were two pool tables!! We were instantly given a pool table with some counter seats along the wall, it was perfect as our party was hoping to enjoy an activity while getting some drinks! Menu has a massive amount of different cocktails you can try, all Hawaiian themed with even creative cups for some of the cocktails! Drinks were on average ($14-17), which is not bad at all considering other places charge upwards of $20. Our favorite was the Dole Whip. It came out in a tall glass and was blended to perfection. You literally could not even taste the alcohol and it was sooo good, exactly like the taste of a Dole Whip from Disney only spiked! It was dangerous and actually got me more tipsy than I thought lol. We only got the onion rings for a snack but there were so many food options and I would definitely want to try them out in the future.

This place has all the best vibes!! If you're looking for a tropical tiki escape from the OC suburbs, this is it. I love how unassuming the outside looks, with its black doors and no windows and simple sign. A perfect contrast to the vibrant, colorful, paradise inside! First of all, the staff and service were excellent! They were attentive and genuine and checked in regularly (but not too much!) and they all seemed happy to be there and interact with us customers. When our server brought our flaming drinks, she seemed like she was having a good time with the blow torch and her good vibes were contagious! We each ordered a cocktail and then shishito peppers for the table. The cocktails that stood out were the Black Sands and the Cococano. Both were default flaming drinks and were sweet and tasty! The botanical mystery is a good cocktail for anyone who wants a more simple and less sweet drink. The shishito peppers were AMAZING. I've had shishito peppers at other spots before, where they're usually roasted. The peppers here were unique because they had a crispy fried coating and a generous drizzle of dark brown sauce (a soy-based sauce or teriyaki perhaps?). It was so good and the perfect size for 4 people to snack on with drinks. This place was busy on a Thursday night around 8pm so I can imagine it must be even busier during the weekends. Make sure you either reserve ahead of time or join the Yelp waitlist! A little planning ahead of time will really go far and make the experience even better. We joined the wait-list while we were still out at dinner and about 45 minutes before we wanted to go, and the time estimate was accurate! I really appreciate it when restaurants have Yelp waitlist options because it really avoids people having to wait around outside for a long time. Will definitely be back here in the future! They have a speakeasy within their bar too, called Belly of the Beast (which I think has separate reservations) so I might check it out one day!

Super cool spot located in a shopping center and unassuming until entering. Such a fun place for date night or with friends. All the drinks I had were amazing and got an order of fries that hit the spot. We didn't have a reservation on a Thursday and scored two spots at the bar so if you want a seat at a table then definitely make a reservation. All the drinks are great. The presentation makes them even better as there is so much attention to detail. My fav drink was the angler which wasn't too sweet but strong! The service was great and they are always checking to see if you need anything! I will try the food next time but the drinks steal the show here with the experience! Definitely try it out if you haven't before.

10/10 - onion rings 8/10 - shishito peppers 9/10 - coconut cove Always a great ambiance and fun time at stowaway! The service is great, but the wait time may take a while. Recommend getting a reservation before or joining the waitlist and heading over around the 30 minute mark. The food here is excellent and the onion rings with the herb ranch are delightful! Drinks can be a bit boozy, but depends on what you order. Definitely my favorite place for a chill vibe with friends
