A secret combination known only to Starbucks employees in KoreaWhipped Cream Castella Cake + EspressoFYI, I bought the Whipped Cream Castella Cake at Starbucks - Incheon Airport T1 4F (Starbucks Book Café) Air 4th Floor, Terminal 1, 272 Gonghang-ro, Jung-gu, Incheon, South KoreaJust before leaving Korea, I bought a whipped cream castella at the Starbucks Book Café in Incheon Airport, and as soon as I arrived in the US, I ran to the Starbucks near my house in the Irvine/Tustin Marketplace and ordered an espresso to make the secret combination known only to Starbucks employees in Korea: whipped cream castella + espresso. How to make: After removing the castella paper shell, lightly cut the top of the castella in a cross shape and pour espresso. The espresso is absorbed into the whipped cream castella, transforming it into a moist, soft castella with a subtle coffee flavor.

The numerous negative experiences shared by both customers on this Yelp page and Starbucks' own staff only confirm what I personally endured at this location. The staff at the El Camino Starbucks are unprofessional and downright mean, showing no regard for basic courtesy or customer service. My experience with them was not only dismissive but deeply upsetting, leaving me questioning how this store remains in business. Only days before Christmas, I was in the best holiday mood after holiday shopping until I encountered Katie, the manager, who is older than me and should know better regarding customer service, along with a younger employee working the drive up register. Neither of them showed even the slightest friendliness--no smiles, no holiday spirit, nothing. It was shocking to be treated this way, especially during the holidays. After this terrible interaction described above and below, I went to the Jamboree Starbucks, where the staff were very kind and told me the El Camino team is known as the "Mean Girls" of Starbucks. Sadly, my experience confirmed this reputation. The issues went far beyond attitude. The wait times were absurd--I waited almost 30 minutes in a packed drive-through line without anyone asking for my order. When I inched past two boards and no one said anything, I backed up safely and slowly to the second intercom thinking there was some issue with the board, I could barely hear the faint voice coming through. I tried to explain through the intercom that I couldn't hear and politely stated I would place my order at the window, but instead of understanding, the staff responded with hostility immediately. I politely explained how I couldn't hear and the woman took my order and then huffed and puffed when I asked for a water which I needed for my medicine. I asked for a manager because she would not fulfill it because of basic water. Katie came over and wrongly stated they did not take my order and I needed to "get back on line" but I advised her they already took my order for a green tea and nitro cold brew but then refused to give me the order because I wanted a simple cup of water. Demanding that I return to the 30-minute line to reorder was ridiculous. That was the issue. There was no issue until they stated I needed to go back around the line because I had a third drink "water" that I needed. She wouldn't even let me speak without interruption to explain why I needed the water which was mind blowing to treat people this way and very discriminatory. I was feeling ill and needed a simple drink of water with my order. Their lack of patience and empathy was appalling. This turned into a power game for them when it's not hard to be kind. I stated in all of their commotion they could have just resolved the order instead of trying to belittle me or punish me when I couldn't hear the intercom board. Despite what someone named "Mike" claims in the reviews who is fabricating his own false version and googling me and doing a deep dive because I guess he had the time to waste, my experience was clear, and I shared my name to ensure it's heard: you cannot treat customers like this at Starbucks. His defense of this behavior is laughable, as no one can "zoom" through a drive-through with a 30-minute line of cars inching to the window at a stand still. I waited patiently, as did everyone else, so his accusations are baseless. The only way "Mike" who has zero other reviews would know my name would be if Katie the manager gave it to him. Because she's the only one that heard me explain my company has worked with Starbucks. To make matters worse, none of the staff greeted me, smiled, or showed any sign of enjoying their jobs. They seemed miserable and took it out on the customers. As someone recovering from being hit in a car accident, this lack of basic decency was especially upsetting. Navigating a drive-through at night with confusing intercoms and 3 menu boards while dealing with my own health challenges was already stressful, and their behavior only made things worse. It's even more upsetting to think how they might treat other vulnerable customers. If you're hard of hearing, disabled, low blood sugar, have children in your car that you need to get home, or simply struggling to navigate their inefficiencies, expect to be treated like garbage. This lack of respect and accommodation is not just bad service--it's discriminatory and demeaning. The way I was treated at this Starbucks was unacceptable on every level. This location is a disgrace to the Starbucks brand and everything it stands for. Immediate action is needed to address the toxic culture at this store, as it undermines Starbucks' commitment to inclusivity, respect, and excellent service. Until changes are made, I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this location. Visit the amazing staff at Jamboree.

Do not go here unless you want very unprofessional service from miserable people. Rude and unhelpful. It's a shame that this newer location already has such a sorry reputation. I truly hope Starbucks does something to rectify this gross location that treats its paying customers horribly. Believe the other reviews pointing out the horrible customer service--it's all true! The employees are rude, and the so called manager is even more rude. Orders take forever as well. What a shame. 100% would NOT recommend.

Yes! This location is finally open for business. It is located next to El Pollo Loco where Carl Jr. used to be. There are plenty of parking. It was not busy at all when I arrived on a Saturday night to check it out when I was shopping around that area. It is not fully decorated yet but staff were working hard at the counter. This location seemed bigger than all the other locations around the Tustin Market Place/Irvine area that I had visited.Mobile order is the best invention -convenient and save time. It worked great! No waiting in line. :) Let's see how this location does in the coming months.2 LANES Drive-Thru on El Pollo Loco side.Pink Strawberry (4-6 scoops) with coconut milk and Dragon Drink (coconut milk & 4-6 scoops of dragon fruits) - the best! So refreshing!

3 1/2 stars. Massive, beautiful with lots of seats describes this location. But the workers here need some serious work. I've never been to a slower working Starbucks it's actually like watching Zootopia with the sloth in the DMV. Starbucks management needs to get some more experience workers at this location.

This Starbucks is just average, in my opinion. Like many locations, it's really hit or miss depending on your barista. The wait times can be frustratingly long, and more often than not, the drinks end up being more ice than actual beverage. I usually go for the caramel macchiato, but at $6, it doesn't always feel worth it. It's convenient when you're in the area, but don't expect anything exceptional.

This is my favorite Starbucks to study at. The lobby is spacious and usually always clean. There's a good amount of plugs if you need to charge a laptop or phone. The workers have always been very nice and friendly. My drinks always come out well made and I appreciate their refill policy when I'm there for a long time. I've never have seen or over heard any issues between customers and baristas, most of the time they are having great chats with their customers! Definitely recommend coming here if you need a spot to study or just hang out and get a drink.

What is so amazing about Starbucks is their consistency. I assume that the people in this location were probably those that were in the location that used to be across the street and I have been going to that location for many years. It always felt the service was excellent the drinks and food items well prepared, and was not disappointed by this new location.Great job Starbucks, as always.

This location is slow and rude. If they do not like their job as Baristas they should find a different career path. No one should be subjected to poor customer service. Why is Starbucks allowing them to operate this way? People go to Starbucks for an experience and this location fails to provide that. Katie the manager is unqualified and should be fired.
