I never knew there was a Spoons in Orange! It's located at a hotel, so if you blink, you'll miss it. It's a wonderful little bar with a small but great menu. The bartender was very nice and had a big personality. My husband and I enjoyed chatting with him. We had dinner reservations nearby, so we didn't order food. However, the food looked fantastic! At the bar area, you can see the chef cooking the burgers and chicken on the grill. It looked and smelled amazing. I definitely want to have a full date night here soon.

Came here during happy hour, but my boys and I just wanted some good food within walking distance from ALO where we were staying. Located behind the Ayres lobby, they had just opened up dinner hours this past week, and only one other table was occupied. The house margarita was watered down and syrupy, but the boys' burgers and fries were flavorful and hefty. No kids menu here. My grilled salmon was also a good menu option for those looking to up their protein intake, and the Parmesan toast was a nice carb bite! The server was nice enough, but not attentive for just 2 tables. We had lower standards given the circumstances. I would say go to The Block across the street for more dining options, but Spoons is a good plan B.

We stayed at the Ayres Orange and after a long day we didn't want to drive anywhere. We saw the many positive reviews for Spoons so we thought we'd give it a try. It's a seat yourself area and they had one waitress. There was only us and another couple. The waitress was quick to come take our order and the service was nice enough. The prices are high and not really worth it. We spent $75 not including tip for three people. We ordered the fettuccini with chicken (a $6 charge to add chicken), chicken tenders, and fish and chips. We also got a sprite and glass of wine. The sprite was fine and the wine was nothing to write home about. The chicken that came with the fettuccini tasted weird, I'm not sure how to explain it but it wasn't good. The chicken tenders were good you can't really mess those up. The fish was ok and the chips tasted off. There was some music playing and you could hear the cooking going on in the back. Dinner is in the same place as breakfast and all they do is pull down a shade to cover the breakfast area. Not a big deal though. The more expensive things on the menu were the salmon and the steak which were $30. Not worth it in my opinion.

Located inside the Ayers Hotel, this bar and grill is great for those staying at the hotel. I was a guest at the hotel with several others for 2 nights. I dined here once for dinner but the others had dined here several times. The vibe was always fun, relaxed and social. The menu was not extensive but I (a vegetarian) managed to find something I liked. On one of nights, I ordered the veggie burger and my friend ordered the salmon. Both entrees were delivered quickly, in decent portion, plated nicely and tasty. Service was outstanding. Our server was super friendly, attentive and helpful. If your staying at the hotel and in need of a drink, this is the perfect place. My friends said the Lemon Drops were amazing.

It's good for hotel food. The avocado blt is delicious with its Parmesan encrusted bread. The chips & guac were good. The pizza was pretty bad, but it what i expected by the photo of it at the restaurant entrance. Everything was priced a couple dollars too high for the quality or size of what you get. Both times we went during our stay they were understaffed so our service was poor. But it's convenient and decent enough so if you are staying here and tired just go. Do not drive out of your way to come to this restaurant.

Rating is for our server Ari. She's the best! Always fun and outgoing. Been here several times and never thought of leaving a review. Love the tequila chicken penne, and wings. Simple menu, and awesome casual environment. Hours are after 3pm I believe.

Superb experience! Omar was nothing short of amazing. Tasty afternoon drinks with excellent freshly made guacamole. We made a point to return for dinner and we weren't disappointed. Omar's drinks were again on point. Main course of salmon was perfectly prepared and artistically plated. A simply superb dining experience. This restaurant is a gem hidden inside the Ayres Hotel. Well worth a visit!
