We been here twice in the last week. First time on President's Day and the place was empty. Second time on a Sunday and the place was packed. Bot parking areas were full and had to look for parking on the street. But one thing was the same. The food was delish. Our favorite is the beef rib. It's only available on weekends/holidays. It is sooo tender and moist. One rib is $45 but it's a lot of meat. Our other favorite is the Siu Yuk which is crispy pork. Once again the meat is moist and tender and the crispy skin is better than any in San Gabriel Valley. The restaurant is located in an interesting compound called Cottage Industries. It's a series of structures dotted with picnic tables and playpen for kids. There's lots of umbrellas for shading and everything is clean and very well kept. I can't recommend SQBBQ enough. Definitely a must try.

Why do they close earlier than what is stated on their posted hours? I was looking forward to enjoying a nice dinner with my friend I wanted to try this place out for the first time only to show up at 7:10p with their doors closed. They offered a coupon for my next visit that's nice but why would I want to come back? Can't give a review on the food or the ambiance cause I was even given a chance to go inside! Haha

SQBBQ is a wide menu, but let's get to the star of the show - Texas style smoked Brisket. The flat. Lacking bark. I believe the fat was over trimmed. Was somewhat dry, so the rest and hold overnight was dehydrated. They could have foil wrapped with tallow to prevent the dryness. Just my two cents...But the crispy pork belly cubes were perfectly executed. Light and crispy fat layer, and tender and juicy meat layer. The star of the show. The Korean sauce also stellar.SQBBQ has its own unique twists to BBQ. But for a backyard offset smoke warrior like me, I frankly think the Texas brisket is a little off in execution. But for an overall BBQ experience with a wide menu, SQBBQ is a solid five stars.

Walk by this unassuming cabin and you'll be hooked by the massive smokers in the front. It's like stepping into someone's cozy country home, but with more smoke and less, you know, dust bunnies. My Valentine's Day lunch? Not that romantic but definitely memorable. . It was just me and this random dude I met from Tinder at 1:30 p.m. on a Friday--guess everyone else was waiting for dinner to hit.We went all in with the 4 meats, 4 sides deal for 4 people. No, we didn't finish it all. Yes, we wanted to try everything because who's got time for restraint? And yes, I wanted to test this dude on whether he would judge my food intake. Beef Brisket: 3/5 - The smoke ring was on point, but flavor? Meh. It needed salt or a kick. Pork Ribs: 4/5 - Smoked like a pro. I'd definitely swipe right on these.Char Sui: 5/5 - This stuff is decadent. Must. Have. Every. Time. Sui Yuk: 10/5 - So crispy I might be Naming my next child after this. Cheese & Shells: 2/5 - Basically Velveeta's cool cousin. Needed depth. Ma Pa Chili: 4/5 - More of a "eat it with rice" situation. But hey, still tasty! Tallow Fries: 5/5 - Crisp, golden perfection. Cornbread: 6/5 - definitely don't miss out on this one. Butter the crap outta this and inhale. Lunch was a win. If this guy's paying again, I'll probably take him back here.

The flavors were dancing in my mouth! Great smokiness flavor in the meats. The bbq sauce was finger licking good and the gochujang bbq sauce was also very good.We got the 4 meats and 4 sides plus additional sides.-Pork ribs 3/5 could be more tender. Some tough parts made it difficult to enjoy-Brisket 5/5 so juicy, tender, and flavorful. Melts in your mouth. -Siu Yuk 4/5 crispy skin and fatty but tasty-Quarter chicken 3/5 it's ok imo but the kids ate it upSides:-Mashed potatoes and gravy 5/5 flavorful and buttery-Chicken rice 4/5 goes well with the bbq meats-Mac n cheese 4/5 very cheesy shells has plenty of sauce-Spicy cucumbers 5/5 wish they were thicker slices for more of a crunch. Refreshing acidic component. Nice flavors and not really spicy imo -Corn bread 4/5 with apple butter 5/5-Fries 5/5 crispy and delicious golden crinkle cut fries

I let my brother pick a place to eat together for his birthday, and he picked Smoke Queen BBQ which was on his list. It is located within a larger complex called Cottage Industries, which I think during the day or when it is warmer would be a very pleasant place to hangout. There are some parking spots in the street dedicated to this area with additional parking in the back.Order at the counter and you will then receive a buzzer, which rings when your food is ready. We opted for the 4 meats + 4 sides meal for $75, which was a decent amount of food. We also added a side of the sesame slaw. Flavors were definitely Asian but the presentation was southern barbecue, a very interesting fusion indeed! Some items were a bit on the saliter side, but paired with the rice was more palatable. I loved how the dirty rice had Chinese sausage! There is only outdoor seating but it is a covered patio and there were some heat lamps. Food was tasty and very unique!

Smoke Queen is a great spot to bring the family for delicious BBQ and a fun time! The space is family-friendly, with plenty of activities to keep kids entertained while the adults enjoy some quality food (and drinks). We came with a small group and ordered a variety of dishes: Brisket, Pork Belly Char Siu, Pork Belly Siu Yuk, Dirty Rice, Chicken Rice, Tallow Fries, Mapo Chili, and Kaya Bread Pudding. Overall, the food was good, and the experience was enjoyable.Of the meats, the Pork Belly Siu Yuk was the only one I wouldn't order again, but everything else was fantastic. Between the Dirty Rice and Chicken Rice, I'd definitely recommend the Dirty Rice. The fries were tasty but needed to be remade as the first batch was overly salty - props to the staff for fixing it quickly. Lastly, I'd skip the Mapo Chili and Kaya Bread Pudding next time. They're expanding the food offerings with additional vendors at the pop-up stands on-site and I'm excited to see what new options will be available. It's a unique concept, and I love that they've created a space for both good eats and family fun. Looking forward to visiting again!

I first learned about Smoke Queen BBQ from a Tik Tok video which made me bookmark the business and then my son tells me about it after he first tried it with some friends, so now it's my turn to tell the Yelp Community about this Asian influenced Smoke BBQ that all started during the pandemic. Whether you're a BBQ lover or just love to try fusion cuisine, Smoke Queen is a must try. On this visit being my first, I was slightly disappointed due to them being sold out of the pork ribs and chicken (more because of the pork ribs). So without breaking the bank on my first venture, we went with the Brisket and both kinds of the pork belly, along with a side of the Mapo Chili. As an avid smoker myself, Smoke Queen is doing it right. Proper smoke rings, perfect tenderness, great seasoning so it's not too salty or over powering. Smoke Queen is definitely doing it right. I'm sure it can get really busy here and maybe the reason they are only open 4 days a week. So on my next visit, it'll have to be early so I can see how she holds up on the pork ribs.

This was absolutely the best American bbq I've ever had. The meat was fall off the bone juicy and tender. I really loved the flavors that were incorporated in the seasonings and marination. I loved the Smokey flavors of the bbq in every bite. The only thing that could've been better about my visit was that the char siu pork belly came out a bit too salty when I got it, but eating it with rice did help with that. Otherwise the experience was fantastic. I loved that they had an outdoor hand washing station by the tables to make the clean up process hassle free. I loved that she has huge clear pictures of all the food on a wall so you know what to expect when you order.
