This spot is one of the trending spots in the OC right now. The shop is small, and since it's popular, be ready for a wait. I came on a Saturday around 1 PM, but luckily, I was able to grab a seat in about 20 minutes. We ordered:Xoi Long Ga Trung Non - Sticky rice with chicken innards and unborn eggs. If you like organ meats, this one's for you. The sauce really brought it all together.Goi Du Du Kho Bo Gan Chay - Papaya salad with jerky on top. Sweet, tangy, and refreshing.Bo Ne Wagyu Sot Tieu Den - beef with black pepper sauce, one of the reasons I wanted to come here, and it did not disappoint. Ate it with the banh mi, and the combination of flavors..it hit the spot.Pha Lau Bo Saigon Banh Mi - A beef organ soup with a coconutty broth. Dipped the bread in, and it was so good I ended up ordering a second one.Overall, everything was solid, but the Bo Ne was the star for me. I'd definitely come back just for that. Just be prepared for a wait if you're planning to dine in!

I came at 11am and there was one party before me. After about 5 minutes, 3 different partied arrived. The restaurant is small and I wish it was bigger. -Caught my eyes from the menu were dishes with young eggs. I assumed that the portion of young eggs must be little because when I went to pho ga Dakao, only 2 young eggs were supplied. Oh man I was wrong, they serve like the whole hen's young eggs or something with my vermicelli. 5/5-Fried chicken with rice is a little dry and not as good as the vermicelli. But the skin is crispy and side sauce is interesting and unique for dipping. 3.5/5-intestine stew has coconut sweet taste, fragrant. 5/5-Wagyu beef I didn't try. Coffee was heavy and viscous but I don't drink coffee so I can't give opinion. Service was alright. They serve fast and explained to me. Waiting for not too long bc I got lucky. I wish they refill water without asking. Overall I would come back to try some more young egg dishes.

i would go back but this place is too cramped. literally only 1 person can fit in the walking places. they also move the tables and chairs around so they can fit everyone in there, leaving no space to walk in between tables. the chairs are back to back with each other. the waiter also placed another table's items on our table since we only had a party of 2 vs their party of 4. i felt uncomfortable eating too closely with others. sorry but the food here is not worth it if you're too uncomfortable eating.

Very flavorful and goes well with the side salad and bread. The portion size was adequate.Tiny place & parking is quite limited, but worth it.Service was quick, food came out promptly.More like a eat & run kind of feel.

It's a tiny restaurant - not a lot of seating. We ordered their hainan chicken, beef steak and eggs (bo ne) and the recommended coffee. Coffee-a bit on the sweeter side; reminds me of Da Vien and September. One good thing is they are willing to add a shot of espresso/coffee complimentary to subdue the sweetness.Food-came out very quick. Overall taste was good and portion was good for the priceService-friendly and attentive.

NOT EVERY HIGH RATED PLACE IS AS GOOD AS IT SEEMS!!!SERVICE: 1/5I came for my togo order first time ever and surprisingly they didn't provide any utensils, they didn't even give me straw for my two drinks. I don't know if there's a policy from the restaurant that no togo utensils or there will be charge for the togo utensils, and they never mention that through my phone with them. For some people who might not have access to utensils as it's a quick lunch break for me, I find it unacceptable for not giving customers something that they must have to enjoy the food. FOOD: 3/5I had fried rice flour cake and There's still egg shell on my food order. I guess they're busy since it's lunch time but I would expect more from a 4-star rating place. I also had kumquat tea and it's more like kumquat, lots of water and a bit of tea. The coffee was okay, nothing special as it was taken in the photos posted on their social media. For a to-go order, they should have clean the cup before handing them to customers!AMBIANCE: 2/5The place quite small and I can understand that. However, the kitchen lady was kinda loud and she sounded rude to the waiters, I speak Vietnamese so I understood what she said. My apologies for being nosy, but it's hard not to overhear her. Good workplace should not have rude employees, especially if they're rude to other employees who work as hard. The noise from the kitchen and the setting of the restaurant were the reason I would not want to dine in here. And as I mentioned above, no utensils provided/disclosed with to-go order, I would not coming back.

I rarely write 1 star reviews but I had a horrible experience at SIP coffee and restaurant. After seeing so many folks rave about how good the bánh mì chảo and coffee drinks were, we wanted to try this place. Clearly that was a mistake because we waited almost 45 min for a table but eventually left along with other parties because of how poorly they treat customers. They don't respect your time or care for your business. Reading their other reviews, it seems like this is a common issue guests have SIP's service. They use an old fashion waitlist where you write your name down and wait to be called for a table. Even though there are a same headcount number of guest, they'll let people who came after you on the waitlist to jump the line first. What happened to first come, first serve? There were these two gentlemen that got a table even though they came way after us. After asking why they did, the gal said that's because they wanted to sit outside. So we asked how come they didn't ask us too if we wanted to opt sitting outside especially since we arrived first? She didn't have a response to that. 20 min goes by and we see there's about 6 tables opened, just not cleaned. The waitress are sitting down, hanging out around chatting w/ each other instead of cleaning those tables...meanwhile there's a few groups outside still waiting forever for a table. Obviously they don't respect your time and don't care to keep customers. Then when we asked how long until we can get a table, she said to wait a little more yet there's so many tables opened? Instead of apologizing for making the rest of us wait a long time, she said "We have the rights to refuse service to anyone..." A few parties left including us after that comment. No worries, we won't be back :) I understand they recently opened and still working out the kinks and workflow, but the way they speak to potential customers ain't it. Hopefully they take this and find ways for improvement because first impressions means everything... and that is not a good way to make a good impression as a new establishment. After wasting our time waiting w/ this BS, we went to "Essence Drinks & Dining" and not only were their bánh mì chảo dishes delicious, but they also offered a wider variety of dishes AND had way better customer service!

The wagyu with black pepper is the best . The other wagyu with pate sauce was too oily. Service was nice and fast. Inside is too small and very squeezed.
