Shirley's Bagels

Extra extra,Turkey Avocado makes the front page of the Yum Yum news.It was so good that I felt like a dog eating some accidental scraps that fell. I didn't even look up to notice anybody watching me ravenously chowing down on my nosh.I always like to come here when I visit Laguna Beach. The staff is great. There's always a line (but it's never that bad).Thank you

Such a nice little place hidden in a shopping center. The most satisfying post hike meal the staff was so sweet and handed us our bagels directly. I got the Santa Fe and it's was so hefty nice big ol' bagel with the most satisfying cheese pull. They did not skimp out on filling this bagel up!! I also ordered an iced matcha with oat milk which paired perfectly. The also had fresh squeezed orange juice and spread to take home. I couldn't resist trying their orange juice and I'm so glad I did it was so fresh! If you're ever in the area grab a bagel and walk on over to the beach 100% recommend.

Delicious bagels and bagel sandwiches. Baked fresh daily. Busy place on weekends. We enjoyed our lox and eggs sandwich and the egg sandwich on everything bagel. It's a great place to stop by on the way to the beach. Lots of drinks and all.

Come here for the bagel sandwiches! They're exactly what you would want from a breakfast bagel sandwhich. And perfect to take and eat on the beachI got an iced matcha from here but sadly, threw it away because it was way too sweet. (The one in the photo is from another place nearby).

My friend and I were visiting the Laguna Farmers Market and wanted a quick breakfast. We found this bagel place and were super excited to try it. Our bagel had avocado bacon and cream cheese. We each got a caramel latte - not sure why they were such drastically different colors, but they were both very good. Service was fast as well and they had plenty of seating. We were able to sit outside and enjoy the nice weather. I would def return :)

Came in on Memorial Day morning at approximately 11am. Pretty busy, but worth the wait. Set expectation that there would be a 15 minute wait which I very much appreciated, and it was very accurate! The waiting area was a little chaotic, but we got some seats at the counters so we were content.Californian sandwich was good -- I liked that the eggs were thin and layered, good amount of avocado and the bacon was very crispy. A lot of everything bagels can be overly salty but this was the perfect amount of salt and flavor.Blueberry bagel w/ cream cheese -- bagel was good sized. There was A LOT of cream cheese which is better than not being enough but I ended up scraping off a good amount b/c it was just so much. Not a bad problem to have, they're not skimping.Pesto florentine -- pesto was incredible and the cheese was perfectly melted and got an awesome pull. The steam in the packaging might have made the bagel a little soft but not really an issue.Shirley's has really fresh homemade bagels and their case wasn't empty even after a busy morning and in the middle of a rush. Staff was very friendly, definitely come here to get a bagel before walking around Laguna downtown or heading to the beach.

This place is fantastic. You can easily tell because there is almost always a longer line when I get to the door the few times I have been. The bagels are really high quality and they have a decently large variety of them. There's great variety for toppings for the bagel sandwiches as well. I keep it pretty simple and get egg and bacon on my bagel sandwich. Last time I was here, I tried the iced white mocha and it was excellent. Expect a little longer wait if you're ordering a drink from.the coffee bar. There are tons of options for bottled drinks too. Despite the popularity of this place, if i want to sit and eat I have always been able to find a spot and food always comes out pretty quickly for how busy it gets. I appreciate the fact that they were very sweet towards my baby girl in her stroller, too. Service is quick and kind. We will definitely be back every time we're in the area.

Wonderful like breakfast place. Quick, friendly staff, delish bagels and cream cheese. Wonderful assortment of flavored bagels.
