Sheung Shui - Fish & Rice Noodles

We stopped by on a rainy day for a comforting bowl of soup. We were seated quickly and ordeded through the QR code. I got the house special dish soup and my friend got the spicy sauerkraut fish soup. This was exactly what I needed. The broth was clear, comforting, and warm. The other place I knew that served this in Irvine closed recently so I'm so glad to have found this place! Will definitely be back!

Come here for lunch again. The fish broth noodle soup never disappoints. It now can order through the phone by scanning a QR code. The cold sliced beef appetizer is also very good.

The establishment has limited tables but is clean and offers high chairs. Menu has soups, stirs fry, veggies, and appetitizers for everyone. Service is quick and food comes out hot. Menu is on a QR code, you will be ordering online in their portal. The house special noodle soup was light and filled with seafood. Seafood Stir fry noodles was slightly salty and greasy but had a generous amount of shrimp and bay scallops. The beef noodle was very light in flavor, the oxtail didn't have much meat. I would suggest the tomato beef noodle.

This is a nice casual chill place that's great for noodle soups! Service is quick and there are a lot of noodle soups options as well as other authentic appetizers and rice dishes. Seating is comfortable and atmosphere is cozy!

I came to Sheung Shui for their House Special Fish Soup, intrigued by the thick white broth. This is one of those places where you use a QR code to access the menu and order. The noodle soups come with your choice of three different noodles (rice, udon and ramen). The broth for the soup is made from chicken, pork and fish, so it doesn't have as strong a fish flavor as I was expecting. The bowl came with slices of fish, fish balls, a couple of clams, cubes of maybe fishcake, Napa cabbage and wood ear. The broth was thick but a bit under seasoned.The spicy sauerkraut fish soup was a flavor bomb! It definitely had a kick - a burn that settled in the back of my throat - with the same ingredients as the house special plus pickled cabbage. I would recommend this one over the House Special. There were a lot of families eating there, and I saw several non-noodle dishes that looked pretty tasty. Next time, I'll have to explore more of the menu!

Clean and good service is the first impression of this place. We order a take out , Jay is great to help us to place the order. Food is tasty, if you're hurry to get delicious food , must try here!!

Boyfriend and I literally drove 30 min here for the Sauerkraut Fish Soup. I think they had another location in Irvine called Kiwami (same owner) and we would get it pretty often whenever we were craving some really good soup. Then one day Kiwami disappeared/closed down??? and we were so sad because we couldn't find any place that served this. Earlier tonight we were thinking about how much we missed it and I can't tell you how fast we left the house to come here when I found it on Yelp. We didn't know that Sheung Shui was the original location and we will definitely be coming back again. The ambiance in here is nice- well lit and clean! And ofc the soup slaps. Super yummy 11/10 (I also like the House Special soup!!)

House special fish soup and their spicy braised beef noodle soup were too bland for my taste. However, their sour bean pork fried rice was crack--soo good! Good service. Might give other noodle soups a try next time but would not be my go-to place when craving beef noodle soup
