Shake Shack Irvine Spectrum

One of a kind burger.So happy we finally have one in the OC.Good quality meat and the crinkle fries ooooofff!

She wants to be in n out so bad You're a single parent at the spectrum with three hungry children everyone's hungry. No fast food at the spectrum. All the restaurants near the theater seem too high commitment for your hungry kids. Who wants to sit down and wait to be served in a Thursday evening anyways? So you go to shake shake Big mistake. Burgers are small like the pebbles of s*** from your kids pet rabbit For a pebble of a burger it's three times the price of In N Out, and tries to market itself for its mid tier shakes to hide the fact that it's like In N Outs undesirable, freaky, and unsafe uncle. If you enjoy torture and unhappiness Shake Shack is the place to be!

Food: The burger looks absolutely nothing like the image from their app. I've been here a few times and the value just isn't there. You're better off going to happy hour at Fogo De Chao a few hundred feet away for a better burger at the same price point. The fries are decent; very hard to get wrong.Service: standard, order through the app or the kiosk and they call you up. The water is self serve and they come find you with your order if you're dining in. Ambiance: this place gets very busy at peak times so it's hard to find a place to sit inside, but there is plenty of outdoor seating.Despite all their offerings, shake shack is mid, but at least they're quick.

Came in with a couple of friends on a Sunday morning and it was pretty empty. I've been to Shake Shack before. I got the smoke shack and I wouldn't recommend the pepper sauce at all. The truffle sauce I got with my fries was much more delicious. The size of the burger is pretty small, think smaller than an in-n-out single or about the same size as a MacDonald's cheeseburger. For the price it isn't particularly worth it in my opinion unless there's a deal on. I also got the cherry blossom milk shake, I can't recommend it either. There's a really fake fruit taste to it, kind of like peptol bismol. The seating area inside is nice. And there's outdoor patio seating as well. If you're at Spectrum there are better places to try.

I have a friend and the currency of choice between us for favors are burgers. Today my friend chose Shake Shack because he really enjoys this restaurant. My only Shake Shack experience was in NY and it was only once and it was years ago. It was not my favorite and I'm a SoCal In N Out girl, but between friends, we got to compromise sometimes. My feelings for the burger remain true to my initial experience, average tasting and kinda expensive. However, my friend was pretty much in Heaven. We had a great conversation in the wonderful SoCal sunshine. I'm in the company of a good friend. The service was amazing. For all these reasons, Shake Shack gets a 4 star review. Experiences matter and this restaurant gave us a great experience. Casual and comfortable.Please come and experience it and create your own experience.

Tried the truffle mushroom burger. It was nice to see a vegetarian option at Shake Shack but unfortunately this burger I was not a fan of. The mushroom itself was fine and fried okay, but the sheer amount of cheese inside was overwhelming and borderline nauseating. Every bite of the mushroom I took, the cheese ooozed out making it hard to eat the burger at all and the only taste was plastic-y cheese.To be fair if you're a huge cheese fan, maybe this burger hits the spot. But personally I was more interested in the fried mushroom so if you're anything like me, I'd advise against it.

I stopped by here for a snack. We ordered fries to split and a vanilla and chocolate shake. You can ask the staff to split up one shake into two cups.You also have the option of ordering at a kiosk but we ordered with a cashier since we wanted to customize our order and didn't want to deal with the system for that. One thing we noticed was the shake menu on display above the counter doesn't mention that you can get one shake that's a combination of Vanilla and Chocolate. The fries are always delicious here. Right amount of crispiness and saltiness. The shake is to die for. I hope they bring back the BOGO promotion for shakes this year.There's a bench inside if you want to sit while waiting for your togo order. The staff is helpful when they give you your order and get you additional condiments, napkins, straws, etc. I've never been to Shake Shack and there wasn't a line but the wait wasn't too bad on Sunday around 4pm.One star off for ambiance. We sat outside near the Somi Somi side and there was a band of unruly teenage boys ruining the vibe. There's only so much staff can do so I don't fault them.

This location is very conveniently located at Irvine Spectrum. The closest parking structure is a little bit of a walk away from the location, but there is always somewhere to park. We ordered ahead for pickup because we wanted to try the new black truffle burger. The burgers that we got did not look anything like the pictures on the menu and online. The taste was decent but the patty was extremely dry. The truffle flavor was strong and went well with the Gruyère cheese. The fries were crispy, but it would not be my first choice for burgers at that price range ($10.99 for a single and $13.99 for a double).

We decided to try Shake Shake this past Friday afternoon for lunch for the first time. We both ordered the Shake Burgers - no cheese - one with grilled onions one without .One order of fries Two chocolate shakes - one with whip cream The burgers were tasty - messy like they should be . Small in size, as you can see in the pictures not loaded with lettuce or tomatoes just a thin burger that doesn't really fit the bun.Taste is a 5-5.Would have liked more lettuce only saying as it's not a $5.00 burger.It did have a pickle and a tomato and it has the shake sauce - like thousand island . The fries were great as were the shakes . Can't say we order shakes too often maybe twice a year if that so this was a treat. The place looked clean and the staff was nice but when they bring you your food it would be helpful if they brought you some napkins with your food. The women's bathroom was not clean nor were there any seat covers in the holders. My first rule is : Always check the bathroom before ordering to see how clean or dirty the bathroom is - we'll forgot our rule before ordering . Kind of glad we ordered and ate first or we might not have eaten here . If you would like a small burger order the Shake Burger - If you want a bigger burger order their bigger burgers that they offer . As for the shakes and fries, they are good if you are craving one . The Irvine Spectrum location has an indoor and outdoor patio eating area as well .

This location located inside of Irvine Spectrum seems like a busy location. When you first walk in, there are 4 order stations/kiosks to the left and a counter to the front with 2 registers. When you order from the kiosks, you enter a card number and when your order is ready, an employee brings your order to you. This is a great feature to have.They have many tables availabe for dining inside as well as outside on both sides of the main entrance. The employees were friendly. You are able to ask for a drink refill which is also great, as other locations that I have been to have a self serve fountain drink area.We ordered:1. Shack Stack (Cheeseburger with Stuffed Mishroom)2. Shack Stack with Bacon & Onion3. Plain Fries4. Chicken NuggetsAs usual, everything was delicious. The Shack Stack is scrumptious and the beef patty had a little char and crisp. The cheese in the portobello mushroom oozes out when you take a bite and all of the goodness just melts in your mouth. The crinkle fries have the perfect crisp and the nuggets as well. They are a little on the salty side for me but I can see why people would like their chicken sandwiches. The chicken is tender on the inside. They were a little tight on the ranch sauce for the chicken. The container was only filled half way and there was an additional $0.50 charge for another one.The bathrooms were clean which was a plus and I just love the fact that they do have bathrooms available for their patrons.
