Shake Shack Brea

Monday, February 17, '25 Presidents Day. I arrived at 1pm. The close by parking was packed! I decided not to wait for a spot so I parked by Wells Fargo Bank and walked to Shake Shack. I messaged my family where I parked and waited for them at one of the empty green tables outside. Once my two guests arrived, I suggested we order from the app for pick up so we didn't lose our spot. So if you've never ordered from the Shack, it's about $25 per person. My bill total was $75+ change. 3 burgers, 4 fries, and 2 shakes. It was comfortable sitting outside and there's music playing on the speakers.I can't complain about the quality of the burger. It was great and a nice soft bun although I forgot to lettuce wrap it. And the staff forgot my side of shack sauce. How do you miss items on an order ticket? I guess one can't expect perfect from young people. In too much of a hurry? Whatever, I didn't need it. I ordered both the truffle Parm fries and the cheese fries with bacon. Both were tasty but the winner was the cheddar bacon fries. I'm not sure if it was cheddar but it was a cheese sauce. Yum, I'll regret the calories another day. Just enjoy having food with family. I'm glad to have tried Shake Shack but it's premium priced for downsized food. This place will be on rare occasions. I'd reconsider how I spend $25-ish on a double burger and bougie fries. This was my cheat meal. Bye Shake Shake, see you later.

Good food, a bit over priced. Completely mismanaged, inadequate use of employee time. 3 tables of customers and food timing is 30+ / 45 minutes. Employees walking around nothing to do, conversations non-work related. Kitchen downs seem busy. Needs new management. Better training.Employees are nice though, if that's worth anything. Lol Update * - employees had out order packed to go, even thoughRegistered to dine in and had table number. Better training / Better management please. Cold food, cold expensive food and more waiting. 3 stars seems more than reasonable but want this place to succeed.

Cold fries. I absolutely hate cold fries--how can anyone serve cold fries? I arrived within five minutes of my order being ready, and my fries were already cold. Totally unacceptable.The only saving grace was that my burger wasn't made too early; otherwise, it would've been an even bigger disappointment. For the price they charge, it should be illegal to serve food like this. It's ridiculously expensive, not worth it, and left me feeling gross after eating it.On top of that, the kitchen was cramped with too many teenagers running around, which didn't inspire much confidence. Overall, a horrible experience. Definitely won't be going back.

Everything was great! Service was really fast, and not much of a wait for food although they are constantly busy. The staff were all really nice and approachable. So happy to finally have a shake shack in Brea. Will definitely be returning.

Btw, Shake Shack will have their limited Black Truffle Burgers until April 2025! BLACK TRUFFLE BURGER Overall I was satisfied, black truffle flavor was there. I got the single this time. I think you get far less full with the fries and drink. It's a lot of black truffle and cheese for the double. The single patty was perfect size for me and delicious too. I know lots of people have complained about how small the burgers are, but all smash burgers are small because the potato buns are made smaller than the average hamburger bun. BLACK TRUFFLE PARMESAN FRIES The fries were lukewarm to cold. Not sure why it was just sitting there and not being served right away. Should have been served right out of the fryer. Lukewarm to cold fries are unacceptable. The black truffle sauce was good. Do not care for the grated parmesan cheese. Wish there was an option to leave it out. DRINK - 50/50 Lemonade. Berry cherry pomegranate. Could have been better. It tasted like a watered-down berry lemonade. Sad. ORDER AT THE KIOSK or FRONT REGISTERDo love that you have the option to order from the kiosks or at the front register. Love that they've added 6 kiosks. Very convenient! SEATS & AMBIANCE This location is far bigger than the Huntington Beach location. Indoor and outdoor seats are plenty! There were booths and there were tables for 4. Indoor booths were spread out though. A bit of a messy layout. A few booths at the front that's closer to the entrance. Then there were more in the seats in the back including the outdoor seating area. There is a general outdoor seating area for all customers. From afar the tables looked clean, but in closer inspection, there were crumbs and leftover food streaks on two tables I've seen. Had to look for third clean table. I saw many workers there, yet not one was wiping down the tables! One even saw me wipe down the table I was gonna sit down in, but just looked at me and didn't bother to do anything further. BATHROOM - The women's bathroom had 3 stalls and 1 sink. The sink countertop had a pool of water that was not cleaned up. CUSTOMER SERVICEGood customer service and everyone is nice and smiling. I asked the front register about the black truffle burger's last day on the menu and three people helped out to answer my question, so that was nice! LOCATION - Between Starbucks, Cava and Nékter Juice Bar. It's a prime location! So many people coming through the doors! Stores around it - Katsu Bar, Tous Les Jours, Panda Express, Home Goods, World Market, Ralphs, Wells Fargo, Baskin Robbins, Bread Breakers Deli House, Maui Hawaiian BBQ. So there's lots of places to visit at the Brea Gateway Center. PARKINGParking lot is large, yet it's still not large enough to find a parking spot when you get there. Depending on the day or night, you might be lucky to find a parking spot quickly, but it's still a packed parking lot.

Happy New Year's Day lunch with my family. Was a nice day for a ride so we road down here and got a seats outside. We ordered the shake shack burgers, I wanted the truffle fries again, baby girl a cookies n cream shake and regular fries and a Dr. Pepper. Perfect meal for today, it was quite busy of course but still got our food pretty quickly. The employees are all so friendly here. So nice to sit outside and eat and enjoy the gorgeous day for the first day of 2025. Thank you so much for our delicious meal and amazing service, it is expensive here but they do have pretty good burgers and shakes. The day of the opening was mad house rightfully so so I had to come back another day. It was one beautiful Sunday afternoon and the parking lot was overflow and there were many people but I didn't want to miss this opportunity. I have tried Shake Shack at Las Vegas couple times so this was my third experience with more excitement and expectation. As soon as I stepped in the restaurant, there were four KIOSK waiting as well as two cash registers, which I thought it was great for the elders who would have a hard time with KIOSKs. At the end of the order at the KIOSK, it asked to pick a number, which we didn't see so we asked one of the staff at the cash register. She realized that the KIOSK area was running out of number stands so she said that she will find us. Sure enough, the servers were calling names to find the tables. They were all quick and friendly asking if there is anything we need.We ordered Avocado Bacon Burger and SmokeShack. The burger is exactly how I remembered, which was tasty and the buns were soft. Their crinkle fries is my favorite as it is crispy and salty just right. Next time, I would love to try their shakes and Black Truffle Burger. This branch seems more brighter and cleaner than other Shack Shake restaurants. Overall, I had a great experience and look forward to coming back soon.

First time at shake Shack, and it did not disappoint. It was really busy for a Sunday dinner time. The have 4 kiosks to order your food, and one cashier. Super easy to order, at the kiosk but that to use the cashier because we had a gift card. We ordered two chicken sandwiches, the truffle burger and the shakburger, 3 order of fries, 3 lemonades- pomegranate, sunset lemonade, regular lemonade and a root beer float. Truffle burger-super flavorful, the fresh is really fresh, and the bun is soft. The chicken sandwiches, were a hit with my chick fil a loving kids. The chicken was crispy and juicy, the bread was soft, and the pickles were fresh. I had the shakburger, single patty, but super flavorful. You can definitely taste the quality and freshness of the ingredients. I'm not usually a fan of the crinkle fry, but these were actually pretty good. The lemonades were also all very refreshing, best part, you can get refills. Usually restaurants charge for refills with specialty lemonades. The root beer float but the spot too. Super friendly staff, Everyone was helpful and while dining, there must have been at least two employees who came by and asked us if we needed anything and if we were enjoying the food. Next time, we will definitely try the shakes. Only complaint was we had a gift card, that was given to us while attending a CSULB men's basketball game. We didn't know the balance since we were gifted the card, during the half time contest. Well, turned out that the card kept reading error. It was embarrassing, the managers tried helping us, but unfortunately, since we didn't know the balance (never used), we ended having to pay for the entire bill. It was pricey, $87 for 4 entrees, 3 fries, and 4 drinks. I will say, the quality of the food is definitely worth it, and the customer service is also great, just be prepared to pay for that quality.

Shake Shack consistently delivers, and this visit was no exception. I tried the Black Truffle Burger and fries, and both were a treat. The bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together, and the toppings were fresh and perfectly balanced. The fries were golden and crispy, pairing well with the indulgent truffle flavor.The service was friendly and efficient, even during the busy lunch rush. My order was prepared quickly, and everything was presented neatly. The staff seemed genuinely attentive, keeping the dining area clean and checking on customers to ensure everything was satisfactory.Ambience-wise, the modern and casual setup made for a comfortable experience. While it was bustling, the energy felt lively rather than chaotic, and I was able to find a seat without much trouble outside.Shake Shack has mastered the art of taking fast food to a higher level, and the Black Truffle Burger was an excellent seasonal addition. It's a bit pricier than your average burger spot, but the quality more than justifies it. I'll definitely be returning to see what other creative options they roll out next.

T-Mobile Tuesdays gave us a promo for a shack burger. We got it to go... tasted delicious but we did eat it 25mins after receiving it bc of the drive home and taking it Togo. I'm sure eating there would have been even better bc the buns were a little soggy! Customer service was awesome... the restaurant was busy however it was during lunch rush, cute little spot on the corner. You can eat in doors or out which ever you prefer. Would definitely come back and try something different. The Thai tea shake was delicious! And my daughters chicken burger was nice and crunchy with great flavor. Stay in over taking it to go! That's just my option. But it's always better fresh. Flavors are on point!
