We have eaten here or done take-out at least 5 times. I am not sure what happened to my original review.CALIFORNIA SPECIAL TACO:-- a chile relleno with clear spice up towards MEDIUM heat for this low spice eater -- yummy and tasty seafood-- my wife's fave taco here and I see whyRATING = A+

It was a little hard to find, there is a small sign with an arrow. Place is located in a gated area next to a school playground. We came on a Sunday early afternoon, there were other vendors across the way. Seating is limited and outdoors. Cook is outside with you. Service is excellent and friendly. Menu is limited to only seafood. The seafood was very fresh. We got the aguachile, ceviche, and fish taco. Originally we order the Cali special taco but they ran out of the chile so we had to substitute it for the fish taco. It was an excellent swap nonetheless.My favorite was the aguachile, very lemony but not at all spicy. The ceviche was okay, rather bland but the crema was good on the tostada. The fish taco (came out as a single) was my second favorite, it was a nice refresher after all the shrimp.Their agua Fresca was very good and refreshing. At the time they had cantaloupe milk, passionfruit water, and guava water. We got one of each, my favorite was the guava

Absolutely solid Mexican seafood. Service is friendly and excellent. Had no expectation as a friend wanted to try this place. They are located on the weekends. There a bunch of other food from Mexico there too. We ordered the acquachile negro which is like a black ink octopus ceviche. Looks odd but tasted fantastic, tons of chopped up octopus and shrimp. Little heat on this dish. We also ordered the combination ceviche which comes with two large oyster shooters. Also fantastic. Again, tons of shrimp and octopus too. We added a couple of Baja tacos (battered and grill) and shrimp tacos. The chef added some special sauce on it which dressed it up. If you want to go more traditional, ask for the sauce on side. The uniqueness of these tacos were the tortillas. Two tortillas with one grilled slightly crispy. Added different texture. Overall a pleasant dining experience. Will definitely be back.

Amazing tacos; best Baja fish taco I've had. So crispy and fresh and large portion! Other tacos are great too. We came back the next day.Service is great. Chef and servers are very friendly:) It's on a church parking lot so it's pretty casual but the tables and umbrellas they have make it feel comfortable!

Taco prices are ~$7-10, but are justified by the portion sizes (basically 2 tacos in 1). The baja fish taco had 3 pretty big pieces of fish, so one taco alone was enough to have me full. Both the fish and gobernador tacos were flavorful, but the fish was a little salty--I wish there was more sauce to balance it out.

I'd give Seafood 1555 ten stars if I could! I saw the high ratings on Yelp and was a little skeptical that a tent in church parking lot could be that good. It is. The food here looks like it could be from some fancy restaurant. Chef Guillermo Damian specializes in Mexican seafood, with a menu offering ceviches to tacos to entrees like whole grilled fish and octopus.The gobernador taco was piled high with a generous portion of shrimp. The grilled fish taco was expertly cooked, yielding a fish that was almost creamy in texture.Big fat shrimp were featured in the aguachile rojo, along with octopus. Even though the food was served under a tent, it came in a nice decorative bowl. Service is super friendly too. I'm almost hesitant to post about Seafood 1555 because I don't want it to blow up and become super crowded. However, they deserve to be very successful, and I want other people to experience the joy of their food!

There's a sort of ambiance sitting in the shade, under an Eazy-Up on a nice day out. For us, when we went, it was a little too chilly so we ended up getting our food to go. Nevertheless, we enjoyed a couple beverages while awaiting our order. Hoping to go back when it wasn't as windy. (And yes, this place is for the time being set up in the parking lot of a church along with other tents.)Husband ordered the shrimp ceviche and I went with the aguachile negro. We weren't careful and spilled a bunch of the ceviche sauce when we got home but there was still plenty to go around.Shrimp ceviche - They use cooked shrimp that were really plump, large and juicy. The sauce was delicious and savory. Husband was actually torn between this and the cocktail but he did not regret this choice. I liked this ceviche but....Aguachile Negro !!!!! This was a party in my mouth. The sauce dark and deceptively dangerous-looking but it turned out to be so nice and savory, unlike the usual tartness of traditional aguachiles where the citrus is required to cook the raw shrimp. Again, they use cooked shrimp in their version.Definitely a very delicious food adventure that we hope to repeat. I only might have second thoughts about trying anything else because I can't give up my aguachile negro.

The food is excellent!We love the service and Guillermo is an amazing chef!!!We are basically there every weekend and never got sick our been disappointed with the food and service highly recommended.Is a business in growth but super busy and tasty

This is a food truck. Not a restaurant. It would be nice to know that before we drove there. I love me a good food truck, but I wasn't in the mood today and was disappointed to drive half an hour to find out.
