We had their ice cream for dessert after a brunch at wind & sea nearby. Their ice cream are good and the servings are great . But they do not do tasting before you order so you order the flavor you already know you will like. There are seating areas outside the store and despite the fact that it's a Monday when we went, there were plenty of people but we got to find some seats for some of us. We had a big party of 15 people with several kids when we went and most of us were able to find somewhere to sit down and enjoy the ice cream. It was a nice December day to be by the marina so the ambiance was great at the time.

Red many reviews and they were spot on. Also red about Lappert's ice cream and they had some unique ingredients, Kona coffee, Philippine mango and Egyptian pistachio. Went with the Kauai pie and the Hawaiian sea salt. Absolutely loved the Kauai pie. Had a really great Kona coffee flavor. Reminded me of these Kona coffee covered macadamia nuts from Hawaii. The macadamia nuts added a nice crunchy texture to the smooth ice cream. Had never heard of Lappert's ice cream before and now I am a fan. The Hawaiian sea salt caramel had a nice rich caramel to it. Definitely one of the better caramel tasting ice creams I've had. If you are an ice cream fan you will enjoy Lappert's. I only wish they would allow samples. They do give you two scoops for a small which is a good amount of ice cream.

Love this cute spot by the harbor, lots of flavors and obviously a beautiful and calm area to walk around. Appreciated that they opened late during the bot parade events, really made the evening

I LOVE Lapperts ice cream and love even more that I don't have to go to Hawaii or Sausalito to get some of my favorite Kauai Pie ice cream! This trip we ordered;MINT COOKIE which used to be a favorite but seemed to have way more cookie than ice cream this time. Think a bright green mint chip but with a million Oreos. 3/5 COOKIE MONSTER which was our favorite of the evening. This bright blue ice cream contains cookie dough ice cream and Oreos. 5/5BLUEBERRY CHEESECAKE which was a lot lighter and the flavor was pretty on-point, but nothing too unique. 4/5 I would've given 5 stars because servings were generous and staff was friendly, but the lady serving us wiped her nose with her hand and then dipped that hand in a container to serve us ice cream (no gloves or hand washing in between), which was kind of gross and unsanitary if it's happening a bunch. Ice cream was still great though!

This blonde girl working there was SO rude to my family. She rolled her eyes at my grandma, was short with us, and stared and shot daggers at everyone in my family for legit like no reason? They were not busy & I don't think we asked anything of them that was ridiculous. No reason for her to act like that and have that much attitude with people who did nothing to her. Maybe she's having a bad day, but if you're rude to my elderly grandmother, you're just being a jerk. I also caught her staring me down when I was sitting outside so I stared back at her because wth? And she continued to glare at me through the window. She should genuinely be fired.In other words, ice cream was good but staff was just not kind.

The service is terrible, very angry worker who take the ice cream like a thick ice. however, the ice cream is good and the sea outside is enjoyable.

Was the worst ice cream just flacked away, ice cream cone (one scoop) and root beer float cost us $16 and we couldn't eat it. We went in and talked to them about it and the girl said yeah we get bad batch's once in a while nothing we can do about it. We have been there before and not had that type of service but this was unacceptable

Nice ice cream shop with a variety of unique flavors. They don't offer samples so we got screwed with one of our choices.Banana Caramel Chocolate Chip - 1/5 Tasted very much of chemicals instead of fresh bananas as advertised. Think of a banana flavor Now And Later candy. BLEH.Hawaii Sea Salt Caramel - 4/5 I think this was legit good but the horrible banana caramel ice cream overpowered this and ruined the entire cup.I'd suggest sticking to your favorite flavors when you visit here and avoid the intriguing, quirky flavors. I've been to better ice cream parlors but at least this place is situated along the pretty waterfront.

Normally we go to Orange County Creamery for our ice cream fix but decided to bike over to harbor and try Scoop. I wanted to try the white chocolate macadamia nut but was told they don't do samples? At almost $19 for a single scoop and overly runny malt one would think a sample is not out of reach - never been to an ice cream or frozen yogurt shop that didn't offer at min one sample!! Young man working was neither friendly or unfriendly but clearly struggled to make a malt. OK but I'll stick to OCC.
