We had a game on Saturday at Mater dei, so I did what I always do when I'm in an area I don't know the food scene in, I check on here We wanted a breakfast spot with iced coffee but we needed to take it Togo. The Brunch club more than lived up to the great reviews. Me and my daughter both had the avocado toast with the runny egg and it was delish! I loved how it also had a hint of sweetness. I have to praise their iced coffee though because omg is it good! It's strong without being bitter and has the perfect amount of flavor. My daughter had the horchata flavor and I had the vanilla rum, this iced coffee is top tier. So so good.I wasn't bothered by the location at all, I live in mission viejo but maybe it's because I was born and raised in Fresno that I'll never judge a neighborhood the way some of the people in other reviews do.

I always feel bummed writing a bad review. But we found this place on yelp and I feel like others should have both sides of the coin. We ordered the French omelette and the steak and eggs as well as two lattes. The lattes were okaaaay not great, but probably the most decent part of the meal. For the steak and eggs, the eggs seemed soooo unnessarily greasy. The tots were good,, but the steak was just ok and overall the meal for the price was nothing special.. they were out of the chimichurri so it has salsa but overall I started to feel gross and nauseous immediately after eating. Just that "this was not good" feeling. The omelette was so bland and not worth Any price. Service was good, but did take like 35 min to get the food at least. Overall we would not recommend nor return.

Quality & Deliciousness! Surprise! Found a great brunch place. The food was terrific. We had the Korean Smash Burger (short rib & kimchi) with a side of tots (topped with furikake before frying) and we had the Pork Belly (crispy cooked pork cubes) served over Fried Rice (carrots, peas, broccoli, onion) base topped with scrambled egg, sliced avocado then drizzled with a sweet Gochujang sauce and side of hot coffee which is brewed in a drip system prominently displayed when you approach the counter to order your food before sitting down. Excellent service. The place was packed. Every table was full when we arrived. We didn't mind since we needed time to figure out the menu. It was great to watch the cooks in the kitchen from where we stood and then ogle over the food as the trays passed us by and were served to the hungry patrons. The ambiance was nice with plenty of space between tables with cushioned chairs and cozy bench seats along the walls.

Food and location was not what we hoped for. Not your classic French omelette with it having mashed avocado and overcooked tater tots underneath. Then, the avocado toast with Hokkaido sweetbread just doesn't pair well. The cinnamon roll was the best part, but not worth coming back considering the location is in a very shady part of Santa Ana. The most concerning part is my view from the window was of a man rolling grass and smoking it during the entire time I was eating. Won't be coming back.

The cashier/server guy was nice & very helpful and let me know the menu was in the process of changing. I chose one of the staple items, the avocado toast with a cucumber mint mocktail. The avocado toast was underwhelming for me. It had a maple glaze, sliced avocado, radish slices and a soft boiled egg, all topped with sesame. The maple was the strongest flavor followed by the sesame. The avocado, egg and toast were too subtle to notice. The toast was the weak point to me because it was very thick but very tough. The plastic utensils made it really hard to cut through. The cucumber mint drink was watered down so disappointed with that as well. The place itself is small, simple, but clean.I am willing to go back and try something else since it's a small business.

Fusion-ish brunchy spot with good service, modern decor, and limited parking. Fun experience in general, but the food and drink could have been more flavorful. We ordered iced lattes first. Mint Mojito, Vanilla Rum, Nutella Thin Mint, and Black Strap Molasses were fun to try and pass around the table, but we wished the special flavors were more prominent. For example, my Nutella Thin Mint tasted heavily of nutella, which is great, but it was hard to detect the coffee and mint.Shareables included Hokkaido Milk Bread Cinnamon Roll and Sourdough Pancakes. We honestly could have just went with one of these since both were carbs, especially since I got a sandwich with tots for my brunch haha. Both looked amazing, but I think they didn't quite live up to the hype. They weren't as soft or fluffy as I imagined them to be. The flavors also fell a little flat, and we def needed the cream, syrup, fruit, powdered sugar, all of the above.I got the BLT Brunch Sando and added a side of tots. The pork belly was slightly underwhelming, but I was thoroughly enjoying the tastiness, crispiness, and munchability of the tots. I feel like there could've been more flavor to this sandwich besides just Kewpie (even though I do love Kewpie). I tasted the green tomatoes more than the pork belly. Maybe the pb needed stronger seasoning or a nuanced sauce to tie everything together.

Came here on Saturday afternoon around 12pm. They were able to seat us in about 20 minutes. The service here was amazing. Dominico was our server i believe and he was very attentive and friendly. The sizing of the restaurant was a bit smaller but they're able to take in larger parties by combining the tables they had.We got the new york with herb butter and the strawberry sourdough pancakes. I wasn't expecting much with the steak since it used to the regular steak and eggs from usual diner spots. I was pleasantly greeted with how well the steak was cooked. Perfectly medium rare and with the generous serving of herb butter it was very flavorful! My partner said that the pancakes were delicious and would already like to come back to try their other dishes.

Came here for brunch. The place has a laidback ambiance and the staff was very friendly. We ordered the grilled cheese and Chef Dom's brunch burger. They gave us complimentary doughnut bites while we were waiting and that was such a nice touch!Doughnut bites- Served warm and fresh. The dough was perfectly soft inside with a light crisp outside and generously dusted with cinnamon sugar and served with a honey dip. Amazing!Grilled cheese- Perfectly cheesy and served with a cheese-crusted milk bread that complemented the savory flavors. You also get a portion of hearty tomato soup on the side. Very comforting!Chef Dom's Brunch Burger- Burger patty was juicy and nicely smashed. Loaded with cheese, bacon, fried egg, pickles, and topped with a soft bun. It was packed with flavor and served with a side of crispy tater tots.Thank you for this wonderful meal!

I was craving some breakfast when this place popped up on my search. I decided to head over and check it out. The parking for this restaurant is behind it so keep that in mind. I walked right in and was sat immediately by my waiter. They can accommodate big parties somewhat. There's mainly tables for 4 and 2 but they can always combine. The menu is all brunch items, all of which sounded really delicious. I opted to go with something safe though and got the city plate along with the loaded tots to go for my family. I also ordered a Nutella latte!Food came out fairly quickly and was also offered something from the house which looked like cinnamon donut holes which were delicious. The waiter also recommended to try the house hot sauce. I first tried the French toast and that was so fluffy and sweet tasting. It was paired perfect with the syrup offered. The bacon was cooked crispy and tasted delicious as well. They make their scrambled eggs pretty runny if that's not your forte but overall they were delicious as well. The thing that sold me the most was the hot sauces. I loved the green Serrano hot sauce offered here! It was soooo good when poured on the eggs. That's a definite must come back for!The ambiance of the restaurant is pretty tidy and they play some rock / punk rock music while you dine in which was pretty cool! I paid around $40 for the lot of food which was a fair price considering they took a discount off for me for whatever reason haha thank you again for that. This place is honestly a hidden gem that deserves all the praise. The service was quick and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious! Definitely get your breakfast fix here!

Service was great, super friendly and prompt. You are able to make reservations, would recommend if you have a large party (it's a pretty cozy area so may not recommend for groups of 8+).Parking is in the back of the building.Food was good: pork belly and chilaquiles were delicious and the coffee was strong!
