Sal's Pizzeria

This pizza here is truly Italian made. The ingredients are fresh and I can taste that the dough was hand tossed. I ordered sausage and pepperoni, the meat was high quality Italian. This is definitely a pizza you should try!

The pizza slice tasted good. If you order a sandwich or a pie you should expect a wait. We were the only ones who ordered and we had to wait 10 - 15 minutes for our sandwich and heating up the slice of cheese that was on display. They have a great selection of pizza and I'll be back to sample their slices. One bite, everyone knows the rules.

This pizza place is delicious! I got the pepperoni ans sausage slices it's clean and has a few tables inside and out to eat at.

Staff are friendly, getting garlic knots. It is tasty but a little bit oily. A few tables inside but you can also sit outside, pizzas look fresh!

Got a quick lunch here on a Sunday. The place was very quiet only due to what I'd say is because there is no more AMC theater here anymore. The establishments are all still open. Grabbed two slices and a drink for $10 and I'd say well worth it. Pizza was great, nothing to pick at being bad. Worth it for a quick lunch! Hope these places get more attention. Enjoy!

Great pizza! Closest you'll get to New York pizza this side of the west coast Service is fast!

I was a bit surprised on a Friday night there were no garlic knots ready to go and we didn't want to wait, so we got some slices of margherita and one of grandma's bread crumb and onions. Overall decent pizza- I appreciated that the pizza was not overly greasy, and loved that when we asked for extra marinara that they gave it to us nice and warm for dipping. I'm hoping if we go back again there will be more by the slice options - I was really hoping to try their bbq chicken.

Sal's makes great, fresh pizzas. The 2 stars is because of an employee who took my order, who claimed to be "in charge" but did not know of their current promo. I called in an order and wanted to use the promo but he told me they didn't have such a promo and that he didn't know of such an offer. I asked to speak with someone in charge, he said that was him! I'm attaching a screenshot of the promo I took on FB. I didn't get his name but today is Sun., 9/1, 4:30 pm.

Employees are kind. Food is average, but great for its price. I've only tried their pizza and garlic knots. Garlic knots were pretty bland but the pizza is good.

I started visiting Sal's in Foothill Ranch, per my Uncle's recommendation, when I moved to California in January 2024. Every Tuesday, they have a BOGO special where you basically get two slices of pizza for $4.85 out the door. I've been visiting almost every Tuesday ever since, because their pizza is fantastic!Sal's is like Terra Mia's - or Terra Mia's is like Sal's - in that they offer different varieties of large, New York style slices of pizza. They use real Italian sausage on their pepperoni & sausage and their Works pizza, which I think tastes superior to regular sausage. I recommend examining their pizzas when you walk in and seeing which flavors look fresh. As with any pizza, they are much better when they are fresh out of the oven, but, sometimes they sit awhile, and with a trained eye, you can tell when they have sat and when they are fresh. To be clear, everything gets thrown back in the oven when you order it, but if its sat awhile before hand, it won't taste as fresh. The workers here are friendly and cooperative. (Hat tip to Brendan). This Sal's is located next to the Cinemark theater in the food court plaza that includes a Cold Stone. Easy to access from Bake Pkwy. You can sit inside or outside, although indoor seating is slightly limited. The vibe inside does feel more like a takeout place than a sitdown restaurant, but that doesn't stop me from sitting inside and enjoying my meal anyway. Highly recommended on Tuesdays. And any other day of the week!
