We used to go here often in 2018-2019, but haven't been back until January. We came in at 3:30 PM, which is a slow time of day. We came in and ordered a pho, chicken wings, green rice, and a couple pork bao. The food came reasonably quickly, and overall was very good. The wings were fantastic, by far my favorite. The green rice was also good, and everyone ate it up fast. The pork baos were good, but the one jalapeño was a surprise to my little ones. The pho broth was good, but not outstanding. The ambiance was, in a word, COLD. The door was always open so the restaurant was truly COLD. Also, the staff were cold; we had to wait for them to come from the back to take our order, and they never checked in on us. Also, there is very little seating space here; we wedged ourselves into a corner with the largest table, but had to move some chairs to make it fit. I would come back for the food, but I would stick to takeout - no need to be dissapointed by the cold staff and cold restaurant.

My friends and were craving pho near the beach and stumbled upon this place. It was definitely warm that day and there were not a lot of people inside. Service was fast though with the food. I ordered the eggrolls as an appetizer and then had their pho. The eggrolls were crunchy but would have liked a bit more flavor and portion for the price. As for the pho, there were good portions of meat, but the broth did not taste as flavorful and was bland.

This place is seriously a letdown not even close to the taste of Vietnamese food.. you're better off spending the money on gas going to Westminster to get good authentic Vietnamese food. Seriously overpriced!!! Not going there again Super salty Pho

We came on New Years Day, around 1230pm. The lady working was not amused and could be couldn't care less for the customers waiting to order. With not even a slight acknowledgment when we walked in. I got their regular cold cut combo with their bacon pate. Overall, the flavor was great. Not traditional Banh Mi flavors, but more fusion. The sweater mayo, paired with the smokey bacon, was a great bite. The banh mi itself was cold. Like not toasted warm bun, but fridge cold. Immediately wanted to run in and brittle warm my sandwich. Overall. I think I'll pass on a $12.50- cold banh mi. with terrible service.

Yum! Thst grilled pork vermicelli was excellent. Grilled just right with thst jusicy, tender pork on the vermicelli made just right . Not too soft or mushy. Nice and firm noodles. The vegetables in it were fresh and crispy too. Highly recommended!

Great Vietnamese food in Newport! It's a nice little spot in the popular area of Newport Beach. There isn't much seating but it's the perfect grab n go. The service was good and quick. The food was even better. Grilled Turmeric Chicken Vermicelli Noodle was a 10/10! The chicken was seasoned and perfectly cooked. The noodles were great. It was filling and the sauce was perfect. The shrimp spring rolls 10/10. They taste like authentic spring rolls. The peanut sauce was untraditional, but still good peanut sauce.

Ehhh. Not bad for a Vietnamese joint by the entrance to tourist-filled Balboa Island. The chicken banh mi is better than the grilled pork banh mi. The grilled pork banh mi was fattier than expected and had an unusual smoky flavor. Also ordered the mango passionfruit lemonade and iced thai tea. Half of each cup was ice. Iced Thai tea tasted pretty watered down. Service was fine. We had to grab our own napkins, condiments, etc from their supply stand.
