Sabor Chilango

We came across Sabor Chilango after visiting a nearby car wash looking for a quick bite. A quick scan revealed the 4.9 rating, tempting us to give it a try. The interior is spacious, clean, and inviting with service that seemed if anything deferential and helpful. Fortunately one of the servers spoke English and helped interpret the extensive menu. The most popular dish was the Machete, a huge homemade tortilla filled with the meat or veg of your choice. I also ordered a housemade taco. Food was well prepared and tasty, though lacking heavy spicing. I even sampled their strawberries and cream which was full fat yogurt. This was the best meal that we have enjoyed for a long time a true bargain at less than $20 for two with leftovers to boot.

This place is super clean and cute! I love the layout and the signage. This was such a great location and happened to be walking distance from the place we were staying. The service was excellent!! We felt very taken care of Now for the best part, the food. Something for everyone in our group of 7 from the meat eaters to the veggies. Everything was fresh and delicious I would highly recommend this location whether you're solo or with a large group and you want some authentic, excellent tasting food.

Highly recommend! My family and I stoped by for Dinner after a long day at Disney, The service was excellent! They served us fast considering we were a large group, staff was super friendly! The food was great, very tasty and good portions. I would definitely return on my next trip to Anaheim.

Había tantas críticas positivas que tenia que calar este restaurante. Fui con mi primo a las 10 a.m. cuando supuestamente abren. El lugar estaba cerrado. Ya había una fila de clientes. El mesero finalmente llego tarde y abrio la puerta. Los cocineros aparecieron in poco despues. Hubo un retraso, cosas pasan, entiendo. Despues de la demora el mesero nos toma la orden, "2 menudos, por favor". Diez minutos despues, el mesero regresa y declara que el menudo no estaria listo hasta dentro de dos horas. Yo antes trabajaba en un restaurante. Si abrieamos las puertas a las 10am las meseras y yo llegabamos por lo menos una hora antes para preparar la comida, limpiar y preparar las mesas, y saludar a los clientes hambrientos con una sonrisa. Que barbaro! Nos largamos sin comer

WOW! 10/10! We were visiting and drove by this place and saw it was packed so we decided to stop in. It was filled with families and had Mexican music videos playing on TV. The server (I can't remember his name) was so nice and was really working really well on his English and kept apologizing. He asked if we wanted an English menu and got us seated. We ordered the Machetazo to share and he brought us an appetizer (cup of soup). Everything was so authentic and delicious. The service was outstanding and our server was the sweetest man. I highly recommend this place.

The food was delicious and very authentic! They give you a complimentary sopita with your food, all their food is fresh & flavorful. The service is amazing, Miguel was very attentive and friendly. They also have cafe de la olla and Abuelita hot chocolate served with galletas. :)

Manejando por el área miré este lugar e invité a mi hijo a probarlo y vaya qué estoy tan contenta qué lo hice!!! Miguel Ángel es una persona maravilla y servicial. La comida es excelente y llena de un gran sabor. Lo recomiendo cuando quieran comer comida mexicana tradicional.

This place has the best Hispanic food I have ever had in my life. This place has become a staple in my stays in LA/Anaheim. 100000/10The gentlemen who served us was! 100000/10The vibes were very quiet and great for quick quiet bite with party of 4! 1000/10This is place seriously needs to be blown up and put on the map.
