Rubio's Coastal Grill

We walked in and it wasn't too busy, got our order quickly and sat down outside to eat. The inside was pretty noisy with a guy who kept yelling on his cell phone and had it on speaker phone. I really wished the cashier would of politely asked him to go outside and have that talk. No one in the restaurant wanted to hear his convo! We ordered 2 shirmp tacos and baja bowl, both came out really good and tasty. The staff was kind, the inside was stocked up and our order came out fairly quick, overall a good time :)

First I will start off with the customer service We witnessed an "assistant manager" named Alexis almost screaming at an employee over something small. Not professional at all especially for a "manager". Very disappointing to see that workers are being treated this way . Second the fish was almost raw had no flavor whatsoever. Save your money and go somewhere else

This place to me is absolutely good, place is always clean and food always tastes as I expect it too, friendly service and always hits the spot. Keep it up!

Came in a few day ago. Was greeted by cashier / server. I ordered "The Coastal Trio" with beans & chips. Food tasted good. "Salsa Verde Shrimp Taco" has a big tortilla for 3 shrimps. They have a great selection of salsas.

Bad customer service on my 30 min lunch break was taking longer than 30 min. Was in work uniform Employees are slow and seem not to care or hurry on anybody's order. Decided to get a refund because I was not even able to eat anymore due to my lunch break being over very insane .. they tried giving me back 13.00 indstead of the 21.00 I spent. And still was giving me attitude at the end. As if it's my fault they can't run a food business.

The Grilled Mahi Mahi Taco was a big surprise, didn't expect it to be that good! They have lunch specials, all day Tuesday Specials. And TGIFF OR THANK Goodness it's Fish Friday! Prices. I visited on a Saturday but I know I'd for sure come back on a Friday next time! $7.99 TACO plates and $2 beers EVERY FRIDAY ALL DAY LONG!!! ALittle Trivia... RUBIO's is A California Original! The food here is very standard and basic. Alex was ok, I had a problem and talked to him about it, but idk - the service could be better. I feel the burritos are alright. The place has an ok vibe. It was dirtyy when I came in earlier. There's a lotta better places in the area though

The food was delicious and the employees went above and beyond to ensure that my meal was enjoyable. Despite having to deal with challenges such as unhoused individuals in the area, the staff remained professional, friendly, and accommodating.

Wow ALEX THE MANAGER is seriously the best. I accidentally placed my order for a different location and had used a good deal. I immediately called to cancel it and explained my situation. Alex SO GENEROUSLY offered his reward from his personal app to give me the same reward since I lost it due to my own fault of placing the order at the wrong location. He absolutely didn't have to do that but he did. It's little things like that that make me want to return to this location. I'm a major rubios fan and hope they stay open for the rest of my life. Will make sure to come back to this location to support Alex and his crew. You guys rock every time. Thank you !!!!!!!! Give this man a raise and his own store!!!!

We love RUBIOS, the shrimp gourmet tacos are the best! We have been coming for a few years to this location and it's always a great experience. Recently in January 2025 the employees were very nice, service was fast, food was delicious. Our only complaint and main reason for the 3 stars is that there were 3 different black guys who came in and tried to sell us and other customers apple products (fake products to be exact). This kind of ruined our dinning experience as this had never happened before and it's very uncomfortable to have someone interrupt your meal like that. We were probably dinning for about 30-40mins at the most and we were surprised that 3 different guys had come in in different occasions doing the same exact thing. I'm not sure if the employees or manager know this is happening but if they don't please be on the lookout and if they are aware please don't allow this. It's so uncomfortable and on top of that the products are fake! One of the men tried to approach my baby. And after we said no thank you he really tried to be persistent. That sort of ruined our dinning experience. Therefore we are now hesitant on dinning at this specific location, we might just do pick up from now on or completely stop going and just go to a different location.
