Rubio's is one of my favorite restaurants in Irvine. I usually order salsa verde shrimp taco plate. It comes with two big shrimp tacos, chips, and beans. Everything tastes delicious. They have the best pinto beans. The shrimp tacos taste delicious as well. Thes verde salsa is tasty as well. The employees here are extremely friendly. They always greet us on a Fri manner. The ambiance is nice as well. I recommend coming here for good food and friendly service.

One of my favorite Taco Tuesday spots. I have been a big fan of their tacos since high school. I love that they extended the Taco Tuesday deal to the chicken and steak, and the deal goes all day long. Their no-fried beans are amazing and healthy, along with the guacamole and chips. The churros are really good too. One of my friends who's a chef eats here every week. It's high quality, perfect recipes, flavorful and decently priced. Plus you get points with the rewards app for every purchase. I will always be a loyal customer for as long as Rubio's is around.

Pretty average food, not exploding with flavor but still fairly fresh ingredients. Besides this, I really do enjoy their churros... soft & crunchy and covered in cinnamon sugar goodness

The worst location to get their classic fish taco at. I have tried to give it a chance at least 4 times, but it's always soggy and not crispy like it's intended. Salsa verde is always jammed up like it's been sitting in a cold fridge for too long.

Sarah was awesome and loved her personality. The food was fresh and hot. Also I love restaurants that sends out regular coupons and deals to bring their customers in.

I really want to give this location 5 stars. They are super nice and the food is delicious! However, don't come here if you are on a time crunch for lunch. It is an extremely busy location around lunch time during the week. They really need to give them more staff for the weekday lunch rush!

Rubios is awesome. It's chain is one of my parents' favorites so I have fond memories associated. The inside is great - clean and reminds me of beach vibes. Always enjoy the food esp the shrimp burrito, tacos, chips, the medium salsa and the California Bowl. California bowl was great - a large bowl of rice, black beans, your meat of choice (i chose chicken), salsa, guacamole, tomatoes, etc. For some reason, it felt like an at home meal that I needed today. Felt hearty but didn't feel guilty or gross. Was able to eat half and save the rest for later. Service was on point. Seems like they have their regulars who they become chummy with. Food came out fast as well.

The service was great! Really nice and gets you whatever you need for your meal.The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. They have metal utensils, which were nice. The food, I just don't care for at all. The shrimp was good. The warm cookie and churros were good. Everything else could be better.The chicken taquitos was crispy on the ends only. The middle was soft. The fried fish was ok. Chicken bites ok. Chicken bowl ok. The chips were thin. The guacamole was lacking flavor. I can't explain it. Nothing was like OMG!!! Everything was just so so. Even the sauce tasted mediocre. I tried everyone of the sauces too.HAPPY RUBIOING!!

Tasty, hot, friendly, juicy, clean, helpful. What's not to love?! All of the employees seemed to be really happy to be there. And a big beautiful tree in the patio. I love. I wish I had taken a photo of my coastal trio tacos! They were so good and plump and juicy. The wild mahi mahi was the best fish taco I've had not only at a Rubio's, but possibly ever! So fresh and well prepared! I've never had a juicier piece of fish in a taco, let alone a fast casual taco. The original Baja taco was similarly juicy and hot. This one being distinguished as perfectly crisp. Shrimp taco also very fresh, plump, and good. I would be shocked to learn that this exceptional Rubio's experience is the standard here. I hope to learn that it is indeed the case on my next visit! Thank you for being a standout!
