Royal Pastries & Doughnuts

I came here on a Saturday morning around 11am and tried their glazed donut. We got a chocolate raised and a maple bar as well. Almost all the donuts had sold out. The glazed and chocolate donuts were soft and chewy, just the way I like my donuts. I would definitely come back to try other donuts, like their apple fritter, French cruller, and bagel sandwiches... but would come in earlier for a better selection. The owner was very nice and generous and hooked us up prior to him closing up the shop. I got to try their tiger tail, but it was a little bit doughy and stale.Make sure to bring cash. If you'd like to use card, there is a minimum purchase of $5. They are open until NOON only, and are closed on Thursdays. Happy eating!

I went there today to pick up a Too Good to Go order. The shop was clean and cute. The lady that was working was friendly. I tried the maple bar donut it was delicious. They also gave me a lot of donuts in the Too good to go order so it was definitely worth it.

Pretty classic, standard donuts. Nothing really special but reliable. As recommended, apple fritter was really good. French cruell is akways my favorite and it was extra soft here, melt in the mouth.The owner said they are open, just that he cancelled landline phone number as it was too expensive. He does have his cell phone number that customers can call.

Delicious, fresh donuts from very friendly people with affordable prices in a no frills space -- pretty much exactly what you want in a classic donut spot.

This place tasted amazing! And not only that the man working there gave us all free donut wholes in each bag to and threw in a free donut, royal pastries service is fantastic! 10/10 100% recommend to anyone In Lakeforest.

Good apple fritters here guys. Lots of apple chunks. I hope nothing changes. Pretty much one of the few things I'll buy donut wise.

Okay they have some pastries that look like brains and Oh man. They man hooked me up with 2 before the closed for free and I've never had anything better. The rest of the donuts don't compare but they are alright. Never had anything else except chocolate, chocolate glaze (different but good), glaze (average), maple (C-). Staff A

I've tried every donut shop in lake forest. This one is by far the best. They also give free donut holes with your order. They are really nice and they open extra early. Always very clean.

Just stopped in on our way to the aquarium and got some doughnuts, sandwiches, smoothies, and coffee! Amazing/fresh pastries and drinks and such good service! I wish I caught the worker (owner perhaps?) name. They were closing for the day so they gave us some extras which was very kind. definitely worth checking out!!!! Thank you again!

Great selection of fresh pastries. Owner is incredibly kind and generous and spoils my kids with free little treats each trip making them feel special. It's the little things that make supporting a local business so great!!
